Hi , and I see you are both having trouble scanning after upgrading to Windows 10, and I may be able to help. Most products do have updated software available on HP's support website for Windows 10. I've also seen a few posts that say the Windows 8.1 driver will work for Windows 10 as well, so you could try that too. HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. I recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, if it doesn't fix it automatically let me know what errors or messages you receive. Do you know if you are able to scan using Paint? (It's the same for Windows 10, from what I've been told)Right-click the Start button () in the lower left corner of the screen, click Search, and then type Paint.Click Paint in the results.Click File, and then click From scanner or camera.Select your printer, click OK, and then click Scan. Can I update free to Windows 10 from my Aspire ZC-102 All in One desktop from Windows 8.1?I bought my ACER with Windows 8 on it a year ago thru HSN. Then I upgraded to 8.1 using the Store thing on the computer. I've not been a fan of 8 or 8.1. I'm told that Windows 10 comes out on Friday and that upgrades are free somehow. Maybe that's thru doing the beta testing that I've read about. I don't know. But I'm not in very good shape financially and my computer's operating system is going nuts on me so an upgrade would probably fix things pretty well.
I'd tried to do a Repair Install of 8.1 but was somehow told that since I'd upgraded from 8, a Repair Install couldn't be done thru the Control Panel. I'm clueless and I'm hurting. Can I have some help please?

Thanks. I see that white icon down by the clock that hovered says GET WINDOWS 10. So even though I downloaded Windows 10 yesterday and burned it into being a bootable DVD, I went ahead and just Reserved My Upgrade since the DVD hasn't been cooperating.When I stuck it in and hit any key as the ACER started, it brought me to a screen that I couldn't figure out what to do on. I was clueless and I didn't want to cause myself any grief by just trying anything. I did just backup my28+ GB of Photos, Docs, Desktop, Downloads & Music.
But I don't want to accidentally do a clean install, which I've done before on my XP Tablet pc and that sure isn't any fun for a novice like me.
I only use Office 2013 and an old Paint Shop Pro 6.0 which is really old and isn't their newer v6 so it has to run in Compatibility Mode in 8.1. I'm not an APP guy either. I do use OmniPass software for passwords so I can Save and Restore them if needed, so I had to buy a 64 bit version of that to run on this ACER.
So I guess my next step is to just wait for a Notification from Microsoft that I can now switch to 10 which I think it said will just download so my DVD won't even be needed for anything but as a repair tool.That icon you told me about brought up a screen and on it it said that it found my PC to be compatible with Windows 10. So does that mean that drivers and everything ACER will work as they should or will I need to get anything off the ACER site to make my PC work with Windows 10?

hi i have problems with my imac g4 all in one ive installed a airport card and its running fine but when i try to connect to my wirless router it connects but i still have no internet,it tells me it cannot find server,im with utility warehouse
has the airport card got its own secruity???????if so how can i disable it????or do i need a dongle??

My brand new HP Deskjet 1510 all-in-one series Cant print

This new HP 1510 All in one series that I just bought is not consistent in printing and most of the times it picks the paper and makes a bipping sound and then stops. It will then give a printing error report and spit out the paper with no print. This is driving me crazy. I have uninstalled and installed a couple of times but the problem persists. At times it prints and at times it doesn't. you can barely tell when it is going to print and most of the times it doesnt. I really need suggestions please

Hello there @Drawingston , welcome to the forums
I read your post about your Deskjet 1510 not printing consistently from your Windows 8.1 system, and when it prints, the pages are blank. I will surely try to help you!
I would suggest that you try a few things, they are:
Run the Print and Scan Doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue. The tool will show you a report at the end. Please send me the results in a screen shot or write them in a response.
Try a different USB cable that runs directly from the back of the printer, to the PC.
Click this guide and try cleaning the paper rollers: The Printer Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper
Reset the printer and make sure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors.
Try printing again from more than one program.

Reset the printing system:
- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it."

Installing new HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One series

We just installed the HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Series. The screen on the printer does nothing but spin around with the notation that it is "Checking for printer updates". Why is this happening? Like I said, we just set it up and I am turning to this form because I can't find a Support contact phone number. I've turned the printer off and then back on. We've installed, uninstalled, and re-installed. About ready to pack it up and just use our old All-in-One again. Thank you!

I have an iBook G4, and a Mac Mini (10.4.11- Tiger) with a HP PSC 1610 All In One series printer connected to it by USB. On my iBook G4, the printer comes up under Shared Printers in the Printer Setup Utility but when I click on it, and press Show Info it freezes.. so I was wondering, is there a way to connect to the printer wirelessly with the correct driver (because the driver doesn't show up in the driver list... and the driver is installed.)

I've just set up my HP 3540 e-all-in-one series, however I think I've missed a crucial step and I'm worried I've messed everything up. I printed the alignment page and on it, it says to scan the alignment page for best print quality. I somehow bypassed this step and I'm at a loss as to what to do now. Will it affect the printer or quality in any way?
Please help!!

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @panda411
If there are any "alignment" issues you're noticing when you use your Deskjet Ink Advantage 3540, you can run the alignment manually to see if that corrects the issue.
If there is no issue, I wouldn't suggest doing anything differently. What comes to mind is the saying "if it's not broken, don't fix it"!

my mom recently bought me the HP DESKJET 1510 All-in-One series so i have an at home printer for school work. but when we bought it we did not know there was a certain USB that had to connect to the printer. so we bought the wrong one. now i have a project due and i cannot print. we have a small USB that fits it but its hard to connect it to the computer and printer because its so small. so if we can have it sent to the printer without the USB that would be perfect!
