Windows 8.1 wont release dead wi-fi profiles - will actually use them - Ghost profiles

Question

Serious bug in both Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone wifi profiles if you change routers/names
I have 3 Laptops and 2 Windows Phones running at home. All laptops on 8.1 , Windows Phone current.
They were attached to a Netgear Router with router access names of CASAARCO and CASAARCO_5G (dual band)
I REPLACED the router with a Linksys router and when setting up, used BRAND NEW NAMES (don't LAUGH) NSA_ARCO24 and NSA_ARCO24_5G
They connect just fine.
The problem is CASAARCO and CASAARCO_5G still show as valid wifi networks (with bars) for all laptops and phones .They DO NOT EXIST. There is no physical router to broadcast those names. I can even connect to them and they work. Why ?
I believe they are reading each other like links in a chain.
What have I done to try and fix
Right click no longer works on 8.1 to remove profiles
I used the DOS Command prompt to NETSH WLAN SHOW PROFILES and then delete them
They go away in DOS but they still show available
I reboot and eventually they are BACK in the profiles
On the Windows phones, there is NO function (just like Windows 8.1) to remove or ignore unwanted wifi names
If I am having this problem then we must have customer that have changed a router and experience this.
I have been to external support who sent me to MSDN since my software is downloaded (as an employee) amongst other places....Finally I am here.
Can anyone please help ? Thanks in advance. I have felt like I am in a black hole because I am an employee and a customer and cannot seem to get help from either.

Hello ...Thank you for responding. I WISH it worked that way and that is what I am trying to report.
1) Press and hold on windows phone wifi names does not work ...That function is gone. If you press, hold, hold, hold...release, it tries to connect...There is no delete function.
As to deleting profiles. I have deleted the profiles and every single instance found in the registry (trust me there are ALOT). It doesn't change.
The profiles are creating themselves from each other (like all the PC's and phones are in one network).  So I even tried this. Shut every pc and phone off. Worked one at a time. Powered on, deleted all, shut down. Moved on
to the next. This way one could not detect another. Still did not clean the issue.
Imagine a customer doing this ? And technically, I am a customer (and an employee...)
We are missing two functions:
1) Windows Phone delete profiles
2) Windows 8.1 - never detect this profile
I say detect because even if you could remove it then next time it was in proximity, it would reapply. example, say my neighbor has really strong wifi. Maybe I just don't want to see it- forever.
