Windows 8 and PSE7 and PSE11 how to add actions

I changed over to Windows 8. PSE 7 downloaded and opens up just fine. I cannot seem to find any info on how to add actions to PSE7. Windows 8 is not setup like 7. There is no start button. You cannot input programdata to find the hidden files. I downloaded PSE11 trial version thinking it was just PSE 7..........same thing, downloaded no problem, opens up but how do you add actions? I used many actions to resize the file, sharpen, and a few makeover actions by Florabella. I would love to be able to use those again. Thank you.

You probably need to do some study on how Microsoft expect Windows 8 to be used, especially if you don't have a touch screen.
Two thoughts
1. If you don't have a touch screen, Adobe Reader Touch may not be the best choice. It is much more limited than the regular Adobe Reader. Did you pick it for a reason, or just because Microsoft encouraged you into their App Store?
2. Try a right click, sometimes seems to substitute for a touch off the edge. I know you can't just use the mouse as if it were touch.

Make sure that the power supply unit is powerful enough. It's a desktop so adding a 2 or even 3TB hdd shouldn't be a problem..

How to add actions to Elements 10

How does one add actions to elements 10? I have access to some PS action files but the help file does not explain how to add them to Elements. Helps says to Click Add on the Actions panel, but there is no where "add" option.

In AS3 you can just use:

That way you don't have to look up the key codes.

How to add action listener to internal frame?

I have frame Main where I am trying to add action listener.
Action listener should be listening button in frame Menu.
I think it should be:
Menu frame = new Menu();
frame.btn_start.addActionListener(this);but it seems to be doing absolutely nothing.
If I try to add in menu:
btn_start.addActionListener(new Main());it generates: java.lang.StackOverflowError
What should I do? Please help noob :)

You're quite possible adding the ActionListener to the wrong component. And constructing a new instance of a class within the constructor is likely the cause of your StackOverflowError.

thumbnail based on the length of the video:

Aperture Library-referenced and managed-how to add to...

I'm trying to put all my images in one library.
Right now, I have a library that contains some referenced images, and some managed images.
I want to make the entire library referenced. That is, I want all of th original images stored seperatley from the Aperture Library.
Should I reconnect (consolidate) the images that are currently referenced and then proceed to make all of them referenced, or can I select the images that aren't referenced and add them to the same folder where my other originals currently stored?

2 4404's and WCS how to add an addition 4404

We have two 4404's and WCS. The 4404's are almost maxed out. We have an addition 4404 which we would like to add to the group of 4404's. What is the best way to do this?

If both on-line 4404 share the same configs (particulary the SSID and other stuffs) then copy the config into the new one (make sure the new one is off-line so IP addresses won't clash).
Change the IP addresses of the new 4404.
Add into WCS.

How to add actions only when the stage playhead passes a label/certain time?

I have an animation that is 2 seconds long. On the 1 sec mark there is sym.stop(); and a label called 'in'. At the 2 sec mark there is another sym.stop();
So what I want to happen is for the animation to play up until 'in', then on mouseenter for the stage have sym.play();, and on mouseleave sym.playReverse();. This will make it so that only the second half of the animation will get played on mouseenter/leave.
My problem is that the mouseenter/leave also gets applied to the first half of the animation, not allowing the second half to animate if the user mouses over during the first half. I know this requires an if statement but I don't know how to write it. So it would be something like this: if the playhead reaches 'in', apply mouseenter/leave actions.

I'm trying to add capability of linking to EPM FR by adding <registry> section in ActionFrameworkConfig.xml ,after that the content looks like this,

then I added the credential of "EPM" mapping to user admin who was given the administrator roles of FR,in fact i gave it all the roles under the financial report node in Shared Service.
then I restarted the BI Server,and even restarted the computer. but when I added the action link by clicking the add new acliton link icon, an error occured said
Trying to read a config value before initializing the reader
and the EPM action link type was not shown in the action type list
what else i should do to make it work?

Windows 8 and Possible Windows 7 64-bit Disk? laptop

Well unfortunately i downloaded windows 8 and not knowing that i completely installed itself over my previous OS.(Win7 Home Premium) I lost the disk i got with my laptop so i cant re-install windows 7 and seeing how i thought it was unfair for me to spend another 100euro or so on it i was wondering if i could possibly get another windows 7 disk sent to me. I think it would be best if a staff member of hp itself would reply to my question.

Alternatively, I have a solution that is better than nothing if you don't want to order recovery disks.
Download the ISO file of the version of Windows 7 that is on the Microsoft COA sticker on the bottom of your PC. It must also be the version in the language that your PC original operating system came with.
For example, if your sticker is windows 7 home premium and the language was Danish, select the 32 or 64 bit download of the windows 7 home premium - Danish file.
Burn the file to a DVD using a program that can burn ISO files in order that you can boot from the DVD.
Install Windows 7. Then use the 25 character product key on the microsoft COA sticker on the bottom of your PC to activate the installation.
Then go the the HP support and driver page for your notebook and install any drivers you need.

I stored the current system date in to a variable.Now I want to store the date which is 15 days after the current date in to a new variable.
ie current date:1-aug-09
later date:1-aug-09 + 15 days ie 16-aug-09.

i have just designed menu in form build 6iBy this you mean that you want to call report from drop down menu.
when user select particular report it should open up and yes there are parameters in my reports
well i m passing the parameters to my query in data modelBy this i can understand that you are passing parameter to query data model etc. By how user will pass the parameters values to the reports. Is there any pre-designed form for report calling or you want to use report's default parameter form?
Anyway there is standard code for calling reports through forms in 6i like...

For existing Actions you can use "Load Actions" from the Actions Panel’s fly-out menu.
If you want to record Actions just create a new Action (if necessary create a new Set before that) either from the fly-out menu or the buttons at the lower end of the Actions Panel and hit the Stop button when done.
