Windows 8 computer crashes flash applications on windows 7 laptops.
have just bought windows 8 all in one laptop and it shares a wi fi connection with 2 other family windows 7 laptops.
I can run certain flash programmes forever on the 2 windows laptops but within seconds of switching on my windows 8 computer the flash programmes crash on both laptops even when wired on the ethernet.( 2 seperate website games )
Have checked signals from router before during and after and there is no change in download speeds which are 14 MPS ?????? as soon as I disconnect the windows 8 computer from the internet the programmes start to work on both the other 2 laptops.
Dell says it has not come across this problem before so its not their problem and microsoft havent been able to help .......but something is happenning , andI am hoping someone can shed some light

the programmes are in the united kingdom and my wife plays on line bingo on sunbingo and tombola ( similar set ups but different sites ) and regardless of firefox , internet explorer or chrome these site crash within seconds of starting my windows 8 computer I have downloaded xirrus to monitor my wifi connections and throughout it reports excellent wi fi from my router . I have changed router channels , disabled firewalls but no good
it must be something to do with windows 8 but what?????????????????????????????

When my ipad has photos on it and I connect it to my computer it is initially recognised as a camera before my computer crashes. Resulting in me having to reboot the system again and going through the disc checks to resolve errors. This has happened on several occasions. On previous occasions when I have not had any photos on my ipad it has connected to my computer without any problem.Is there a way of solving this problem without having to remove all of my photos from my ipad.
Being recognized as a camera is normal. Your computer sees the DCIM folder and doesn't know the difference between a 'real' camera and an iPad.
One way to stop it could be to tell windows explorer what to do. When you plug your iPad in do you see a little pop up window listing things to do with the device? If so, there should be an option to 'do nothing', which means you tell your computer 'hey, ignore this device'. Your iTUnes will still work when you connect them, the windows protocols that search for images, etc. should just let it be and hopefully stop the crashing. -
Windows 8, problems to show cameras in a flash application
I have a flash application that shows at screen the cameras that the operating system detects, and works fine on windows 7 but now, in windows 8, i have troubles with several cameras. For example firewire cámeras or screen capture driver.
I made a simple test application:

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows 7. I need to re-install it because my computer crashed. I saved the outer box, but I do not see a serial number and it is asking for it when I am trying to install the CD software. I went online, but the only serial number I see is when I registered the Photoshop Elements 2.0.
The serial number will be on the disc case, not the outer box. Find your serial number quickly

I need to determine which version of windows os in on the computer running my application to make some minor adjustments to a subvi. Is there a programmatic way to determine this using Labview.
Or, use the Application property node Application>OS>Detailed Name. Although I can't say anything about its output on other-than-Windows OSes.

Computer crashed. Had to rebuild. Everything loaded and is working properly except itunes. Downloaded itunes and installed. Will not connect to internet. Keeps on trying to connet to itunes store, but never connects. If I insert a CD all I get is the track number. No artist or song information. Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium.

Yes, it's been a known problem in the Organizer since at least PSE 6 (2007), with an Adobe tech note describing the problem and the workaround:

Like most bugs in the Organizer, Adobe has explicitly chosen not to fix it.
The problem appears to occur when an upload to a service is interrupted or fails. The workaround, deleting those files, seems pretty reliable.
