Windows 8 History error message

The following message was encountered when checking Win 8 file history - an "error" message was recorded against each file save record
File History Backup Log.

Unusual condition was encountered during scanning user libraries for changes and performing backup of modified files for configuration C:\Users\Kevin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory\Configuration\Config

I'm not sure how to run a system file check on the drivers?
However,a further check of the history has revealed that the event logger is not recording history file saves, but a check on the external hard drive reveals file saves have been happening and that new files are showing up in the appropriate directory.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

It worked before.

Open Disk Utility via Spotlight or in the Applications folder stored within the Utilities folder. Close all applications and 3rd party software and choose "Repair Disk Permissions." Reboot the computer when finished, and test to see if the issue is resolved.

Although you used the new USB 3.0 port, the actual connection speed is still USB2.0, as the iPod Dock connector, does not have the 10 times faster USB3.0 signal pins, the connection speed is still 480Mbits/s
I assumed that you have tried the other USB 2.0 port to no success..
Can you do the iPod Disk diagnostic as posted earlier by tt2, it wont fix your problem, but helps in troubleshooting.

I have been receiving this error trying to install SQL Server 2012. Initially I already had SQL Server 2012 on my machine and attempted to install BIDS 2008. My IT guy stated that there was a conflict in the installation and suggested that I uninstall SQL
Server 2012 and then attempt to install 2008 BIDs again. Fail. I got a similar error as I pasted below. Giving up on having 2008 BIDS I've been trying to reinstall 2012 SQL Server but am getting this message below.

HRESULT: 0x80073712 means ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT, and it is one of the error codes listed at this
KB article.
I suggest you run the System Update Readiness tool and check if the error still persists.

I am unable to install iTunes due to Windows Installer error message on Vista

I needed to update my iTunes since I purchased the iPad2. My Windows Vista machine will not allow me to update the program due to a "Windows Installer" error message. I first attempted to update, then I uninstalled and am unable to reinstall the software."There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run..."

I finally got the program to install/run. I downloaded a third copy and saved it again on the desktop. I selected "Run as Administrator" instead of "Run" It must have been the 10th plus time I tried to install, but this time it completed. I don't know if the "Run as Administrator" was the key since it is Vista, or if I just got lucky. Either way I am relieved.

I've been having the same issues for the past year and a half. I've spent 6-8months trying to figure it out. Went to various Itunes stores with pictures on my Iphone per each step so I could relay all information that I'd come across and the personnel were less than helpful, after conversations that would sometimes last an hour between myself, employees and managers they always came back to "simply uninstall then reinstall" when I told them for the thousanth time that I've done that multiple times and my errors are happening while trying to reinstall it they act stumped and say "well then I'm not sure, I'll give you a call if I figure it out" and disappear. I've been very disatisfied at the lack of support from Apple and if Android to piece together a reletively reliable phone I'd switch to them in a heartbeat. I'll follow this question incase someone can answer this, but I don't have much faith.
BTW, wifey has Windows 7 running on the laptop and my phone syncs just fine to that and no trouble with itunes, just mine (desktop).

Yes, I can open the DPS portal via the Folio Builder panel within InDesign. Although I have created Folios locally within InDesign CS6, the DPS portal is empty and everthing greyed out with just the text "There are no folios to display. Create folios with the folio builder in InDesign".
If I try to sign in within the Folio Builder panel in InDesign, I get the error message [IMS_ERROR_FAILURE] . In addition I am also not able to access the "Help" menu from within InDesign although I am connected to the internet.
To complicate it even further, I am working in the UK whereas all internet control (firewall) and licences are handeled by head office in Germany. I am not sure if this is a firwewall issue or not but if the IT department in Germany could get support from Adobe to understand the access requirements, this may help.
Hopefully using the forum someone out there will know the answer.

Exactly the same problem here. As far as I can see this problem has been around since Match was first released with no action from Apple to rectify it. Acrobat 7 will not work with MS Office 2010. If you have MS Office 2010, you can not use any Acrobat product reliably to create PDFs. You will have to wait for the next version of Acrobat.
