Hello, I was hoping someone could direct me to a software that can convert H.264 (HD) files to ProRes422 (HQ).

This program ... Bigasoft's "Total Video Converter" supposedly handles most any codec in/out situation. I asked if anyone on the PersonalView forums (LARGE forum run by a Russian dude who's created the 'hacks' for GH3's and a few other video cams) had used it ... and got a few positive responses, and also one who noted there's a free command-line ffmbc based program ... but I'm not a huge fan of studying all the quips/quotes/terms you need to know to really use command-line programs.

iTunes application can only convert files to .WAV, .MP3, Apple Lossless Encoder, AIFF, AAC.

Part 1. How to Convert and Edit Videos on Windows

Step 1: Download and install Aiseesoft Total Video Converter
After you download it to your computer, double click it and it is really easy to install.

Step 2: Load Video
Click “Add File” to find the video that you want to convert and click “open”. It will be loaded automatically.
Step 3: Select the target to decode
In the “Profile” drop download list you can find your target according the usage of your output video, such as if you want to put the video on your iPod touch, you can select the “iPod” in the first list and “iPod touch 2 MPEG-4 640*480(*.mp4)” in the second list.
Step 4: Set Advanced Parameters
After you select the right output profile, you can click “setting” button to set your advanced parameters. You can adjust video and audio settings separately. Tips: How to Edit the Output Video

1. Effect:
You are allowed to adjust the “Brightness”, “Contrast”, “Saturation” and you can choose the “deinterlacing” to make the video more enjoyable.
2. Trim:

Hi,
OK. That means the default display lange of the OS is Thai. That is what was purchased.
You can try downloading and using the language appropriate LIPS (language interface package software) from Microsoft to change the display language.

To convert VHD format, you can also use Convert-VHD comlet. The Convert-VHD cmdlet converts a virtual hard disk file by copying the data from a source virtual hard disk file to a new virtual hard disk file of a specified format and version type. The format
is determined by the file extension of the specified files, either .vhdx or .vhd. Conversion is an offline operation; the virtual hard disk must not be attached when the operation is started.

I have add-ons (Convert to PDF, Edit in Contribute, Post to Blog) that use small icons, yet take up 2 rows of space at the top of my browser window. How do I move these items to display on 1 row?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode (https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode) and choose the 'Reset toolbars and controls option'. This will get you back to the stock icon set which you can then customize to your liking

How to convert window to tabbed page?

In CS4, when I drag a photo from windows explorer into photoshop, it becomes a tabbed page.
If instead I open the same photo via file menu, it becomes a window that when maximized, covers the menu bar, making the menu hard to access.
I can convert a tabbed page into a window by right clicking on the tab and select "move to new window".
How do I change a window into a tabbed page? This is more useful to me since the tabbed page does not cover the menu.
Could someone also explain why maximing a window covers the menu bar?

There should be an H&R block format. Windows or no.
Just like JPEG or MP3 is a format readable by Mac or PC.
The main cause of PC vsWindows files issues is in "text only" files that require "line terminators". Windows line terminaotrs are <CR><LF>, UNIX is <LF>, Mac can be <CR> or a <LF>. The text editors that are PC-files-only cannot properly read text lines terminated with <LF> only.

The normal situation would be wanting to convert .m4a (AAC or Apple Lossless) to .mp3 as these are both music file formats. The extension .mp4 is normally for a video file and iTunes itself will only convert music files from one format to another.

If you want to convert the audio track of an .mp4 video to a .mp3 file then you are going to need to use a different utility.

Does anyone know how to change windows icons to os x? I use a white PSP on my Mac and have finally managed to find a white psp icon to match the only thing is that it's in png format and I can't do the usual copy and paste from Get Info. Use the File > Convert & Modify option, select Convert in the Function pop-up menu, navigate to and select the files you want to convert in the left pane, select where they're to be saved in the right pane, select the desired Apple icon format in the Dest. I found out how to convert my windows media player music into my iTunes since I just joined the apple world. I was able to do one CD but I tried to convert Alicia Keys Element of Freedom and all of the songs converted except "Put It In a Love Song" featuring Beyonce. If it's going to do that, how do I keep it from doing all of my albums that have featured artists so it'll be in one album. I don't want the album and then the sole song sitting there. I've tried to find out if anyone's addressed that, but I'm not sure if people are addressing it because it's coming from Windows Media and not the store yet.
