Windows 8 Mail - Want to add Exchange Account - Need a MS Account?

Exactly as the title says. I want to use this touch interface mail for our existing exchange accounts.
But then the mail app requires me to setup an MS Account...? We have hundreds of users - this is retarded.
Do Apple require me to setup Apple IDs for exchange access? What gave anyone the retarded idea that this would be ok?
Seriously what do I do? I have hundreds of users and will be moving a few to Windows 8 Tablets - Creating Microsoft Accounts isn't an option for an enterprise at all.

You can apply a Group Policy to a device to make a Microsoft Account optional for the Windows Communications apps.
To apply the Group Policy setting:
Launch GPEdit by opening the “run” prompt (Windows key + r), and entering GPEdit.msc
Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > App
runtime
Select Allow Microsoft accounts to be optional to configure the policy
If the Group Policy is applied and a Microsoft account is not used, the Communications apps will:
Prompt the user for a work account (i.e. an Exchange ActiveSync account) password
If account credentials are provided, use Exchange ActiveSync to synchronize email, Contacts and Calendar from the work account

But while regenerating the RFPOSXEXTEND program I am getting error - END OF PHASE 002 with Message No D0 322.

Please check special fields definition table T021S and check that
fields are correctly defined. Review that 'field names' and
'table name' are filled and input correctly.
Please also review notes 984305 and 215798.
RFPOSXEXTEND is aborted with error message D0 322 because of wrong
entry in T021S.

I have an icloud account and an apple ID.
I want to create two new email addresses that my kids can use, but that are controlled under or by my account.
Somehow i've managed to create one new icloud email address, but can add another and can't see the one i've created in "manager my account"

You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it. This means that if you created aliases for your kids they will not be able to retain the addresses when they grow up and have their own accounts. Also note that though this means you can read their mail, it also means that they can read yours.

I've removed my yahoo account several times. All it does is delete the info off my iPad and doesn't touch the account itself. So I can go back in, re-add the account and then redownload my mail again. I haven't had to change my passwords or anything.
You might look on sympatico's site, see if they have any troubleshooting specific to iPads.

Mail stops downloading from exchange server. Renewal of account brings temporary relief only. Anyone know this? Any solution?

Mail worked properly, then some folders were invisible (sent mail) yet still visible on iPhone exchange account. Then download of inbox stopped in an endless waiting position with erratic messages about current activity. A rebuild of the account brought temporary relief, then the same thing started again. I have seen similar postings, is this a bug? Does anyone have a solution?

Since my uograde to Mavericks 10.9.3, mac mail is not allowing me to send large files with the same behavior described in thread by mikemachead original post here. I have tried the de selecting and selecting back the "store drafts in server" , rebooted multiple times, yet keeps asking me to select SMTP as the exchange server supposedly cannot send it. You are right we need to load hierarchy for G/L then we can see all the G/L's for all G/L groups.
I have one more question when I check in RSA3 for the G/L account numbers, I could not find them.
I am using the datasource fi_gl_4 and in rsa3 I can see 1000 records data and when I put filter on G/L account and search for the G/L number I needed I cant see it, but it is there in the functional transaction(f.01)?
How to check for the required G/L's in rsa3 ?

when I try to send/receive in Windows Mail - a windows security box appears asking to username/password
on entering the username/password the dialog box just reappears, and no progress is made. On cancelling the dialog the above error appears.

This is a new account with BT broadband, with the account starting on 1 April, and broadband going live on 13 Apr.
Having setup Mail for other cable/broadband suppliers this is the most trouble I've ever had.
Had double checked that I'm not mistaking 0 and O in the username/password, and have even copy/pasted them from my original order confirmation, so confident I haven't typod either of these details.

that's the page but actually log in on that page to your mail and not use windows mail just to make sure it is working before checking to see if you have an error setting up windowds mail. sometimes it can be 3/4 days after your broadband account goes live
I use windows live mail to pick up and send my btinternet mail without a problem

your email password is with your ISP so they can help. but if it is saved in the email app you can just change the ports in the preferneces without a password.
