Hi:
Below is the link to the usb 3 driver you need...
http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=5359407&sp...
If you need the ethernet controller driver (wired), below is the link to the driver you need for that...
http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=5359407&sp...
In order for me to provide the link to the wireless card driver you need, please do the following...
Go to the device manager, find the Other Devices category, and click on the Network Controller needing drivers.
Then click on the Details tab at the top of the network controller window.
Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.
Drop down on that and select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters.

  • Can't create a Windows Seven USB drive using Bootcamp

Hi! I ve been trying to create a Windows Seven bootable USB drive using the Bootcamp Assistant. I tried to create it using an ISO of my Windows DVD in order to install it on my new Mac Mini. My problem is that I get an error: Your bootable USB drive could not be created, an error occurred while copying the windows installation files. My USB drive is 8G, and I‘ve tried with a 100G external HDD too... So it‘s not a size problem. I also tried to format the drive different ways without any success... I found lots of threads relating to this problem but none of them had a solution. Any clues? Thanks in advance!

You can create a bootable usb via bootcamp

  • Windows 7 - USB Drive - Mac OS X

I recently and successfully installed Windows 7 onto my i7 Macbook Pro (Early 2011) via bootcamp.
While on my Windows 7/PC side, I simply copied a small mp4 video file from my desktop to my 8GB USB drive (FAT 32). If I run the file, both the video and audio run...all is perfect.
Now, when I restart and get into my Mac OS X side and copy that same file from my USB drive to my Mac's desktop and then open it from my Mac desktop, the file runs the audio, but NOT the video.
I'm at a loss for the reason for this. Any information you can provide on this issue?
    Thank you in advance...

I would try the player called vlc
mp4 is just a container it's a codec so maybe quicktime don't support the codec vlc likely does however

My computer recoginizes that an ipod is connected but wants a driver for the device. I have Windows 2000 SP4 and the latest version of iTunes loaded.
The ipod is not listed in iTunes or My Computer, it is seen in Device Manager but with an exclimation point beside it, when I click on the icon it wants to load a driver.
I've checked all over this web site and google but can not find a Windows 2000 SP4 USB driver for iTunes.
    Thanks for any help.

ipods use the standard Windows USB mass staorage drivers. it is possible for those to go walkabout on a PC ... if that's what has happened to you, the techniques from the following MarkJones post may be of some help:

    Hi,
Try other USB port. This might need to involve their hardware support.

I'm having the same issues and switching to a different USB port does absolutely nothing.

  • No EFI Boot option from Boot Camp-created Windows 7 USB drive?

I can't get an EFI boot option from my Win7 USB thumb drive. Previously I had been running Mavericks, and with that I was able to select either the BIOS option of the installer ("Windows" under the ALT screen) OR "EFI Boot", but now I'm only getting the bios install option.
Does anyone know the trick to installing Windows with UEFI on my late 2013 rMBP?

I have W8.1 installed under EFI on a late 2013 rMBP. Can you check your USB drive? Is it a USB2 drive?
The structure should similar to the following, and you can see the EFI files. You can try an SMC reset - Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) - Apple Support and check if it changes the behavior.

  • CS-18 Windows Vista USB Driver

My PC won't recognize the Nokia CS-18 - where can I get the driver?   Ihave searched for hours.

The drivers for the CS-18 are actually onboard your Usb device. for Win xp you must have service pack 2 installed. It should work out of the box for the vista machine.
    http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/internet-stick-cs-18
you will find product info, including a copy of the pdf manual there as well.
Device drivers should be installed automatically when the stick is first placed in the usb slot.
you may have to temporarily disable any antivirus software before placing in the slot. If you have already tried it in one slot and cant get it to work, then disable the A/V software and try in a differnt slot. of your computer. It may pick it up. Other than that contact the carrier that has supplied the usb stick and ask them for further assistance, if all else fails then try a nokia care centre thats is convenient to where you live.

  • Issue with Windows Explorer search function and network shares.

    Hello all,
I hope all is well, I am having a very odd issue.
One user when they access a particular network drive, and try to use the explorer search function it prompts the following error
    Runtime error
    Program:
This application has requested the runtime to terminate in a unusual way. Please contact application team for support.
I have checked the event viewer on both the user machine and server hosting the share, not events show up regarding the issue.
I have tried with the user machine in safe mode with networking, and the issue still occurs
It of course is not telling which application or program is causing this.
I have confirmed all windows updates are up to date.
I have gone to the windows search in services and swapped the 1 for a 0, that opened up three of the four network drives for search
the last one is still causing this error.
User computer is windows 7 professional 64 bit
server is windows server 2012 64 bit.
I am at a total loss as to why this is happening on two machines out of ten.
any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.
    Cheers
    Josh

    Hi Josh,
What operation did the user act and how to use the explorer search function to cause the issue? Please check if the issue still exists after the user does the same action locally.
You could refer to the thread below to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Problem creating Bootable Windows 10 USB drive with Bootcamp 5.1

    Hi all,
I have read quite a number of threads (here and elsewhere on the internet) with problems creating a Bootable USB installation for Windows 10 on OSX Mavericks.    The usual response is "make sure your .ISO is unmounted".    With that being said, it appears that for most users on OSX Mavericks, this alone does not fix the issue.
The specific error I get is:
"Boot Camp only supports Windows 7 or later installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for Windows 7 or later installation."
As mentioned I have double checked that the ISO is not mounted.    Anyone happen to have any solutions?    Also, would creating a bootable drive from a windows machine still work with my Mac the same way it would if it was created with bootcamp?
System specs are:     OSX 10.9 Mavericks, Early 2011 Macbook Pro, (MacBookPro8,3).
    Cheers,
    Jonathan

W10 is not officially supported. BC Assistant checks available software signatures on ISO images to verify that it can be used. This checking is not always 100% fool-proof, though. You are using a 2011 MBP, which is also a factor in this. One option you can try is to install an evaluation version of W8+ and then upgrade to W10. The upgrade does not require BC Assistant, once Windows is fully installed.

  • Need 64-bit Windows installation USB drive or DVD.

I tried downloading Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013) using a Window 7 installer dvd(Windows 7 Professional) and Bootcamp Camp Assistants (Version: 5.1.2), but this keeps coming out. What should I do to continue my installation?

What does the previous screen look like? Here is my sample screen which has my specific defaults.

  • Windows 7 Authentication failure and Network Filestore mapping problem with smb 3.0

    Hi All,
We have recently configured smb 3.0(Windows Server 2012 R2) as our network file share.
Few users who are using Windows 7 were not able to see this drive in their network location or their Authentication is getting failed.
Can any one help me how to solve this Window 7 smb 2.1 communication with smb 3.0.
    Thanks
    Santosh

    Hi Santosh,
Above all we have an FAQ article for SMB related issues. Please refer to:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/7bd9978c-69b4-42bf-90cd-fc7541ccb663/forum-faq-troubleshooting-network-file-copy-slowness?forum=winserverPN
Specifically, please test the step 2.2.2 to 2.2.5 to see if it could help get the issue fixed.
Start from 2.2.2. Here are detailed steps:
2.2.2 Disable the TCP Chimney Offload, Receive Side Scaling, or Network Direct Memory Access features
    https://support.microsoft.com/kb/951037?wa=wsignin1.0
    Disable TCP Chimney Offload
netsh int tcp set global chimney=disabled
    Disable  Receive Side Scaling
netsh int tcp set global rss=disabled
To enable or disable NetDMA, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate the following registry subkey, and then click it:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
    Double-click the EnableTCPA registry entry.
Note: If this registry entry does not exist, right-click Parameters, point to New, click DWORD Value, type EnableTCPA, and then press ENTER.
To enable NetDMA, type 1 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
To disable NetDMA, type 0 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
If the EnableTCPA registry entry does not exist, enable the NetDMA functionality.

  • Can I set up MF4770n with BOTH usb cable AND network cable to router?

My MF4770n is connected to desktop pc with usb cable. Can I also add the network cable to router capability so that my laptops can access the printer through my home network? Or, do I need to uninstall the printer and run setup all over? I know that I can just "share" the desktop printer. But I would like access to it when the desktop pc is asleep. Thanks.

It is possibile to have both.  It is not the best.  Pick one or the other.

  • Labview GPIB-USB-HS and Network Analyzer

Hi, I have a quick question; I am currently working with an older Vector Network Analyzer and Labview for controlling antenna array measurements. Currently, we have two Labview VI's that work independently, but we would like to combine them into one to further automate our process. What I am having trouble with is writting to the VNA with the two VI's combined. I have copied the working VI and have setup the same control logic for it in the combined module as it has in the working VI, but it does not seem to work when added with the other .VI.
I am new to Labview, so it is probably a simple error, but if someone could look over what I'll attach and see if there is a solution, I would greatly appreciate it! Currently, in the combined module, there are no errors, and the first part, writing the sequence to the parallel port works, but that writing to the parallel port does not seem to trigger the VNA to become active and write the data. I can provide more details if necessary, but here are the files. The calib1.VI is required to run the VNA_Try, but nothing needs to be changed there; the VNA_Switch_Combine is the one that is not currently working.
    Thank you for your help!

Now I was able to get the program working, but while it was running yesterday, it stopped in the middle of an experiment, and I have not been able to get it to work again.
The error that I am receiving is the following:
VISA: The connection for the given session has been lost.
Previously, when I received this error, I would try a combination of restarting the computer and re-calibrating the VNA, and this would fix it. Now, however, it has been almost two days that I have not been able to get this to work. I have tried using NI MAX to detect the instrument, and sometimes it does detect it, but when it does, I still get the same error. There are other times when NI MAX does not detect the GPIB controller, but there does not seem to be a consistent reason as to why the GPIB device is or is not detected by NI MAX.
What could have gone wrong? The code remained the same, and has not changed since it worked.
    Thank you.

  • USB Drives works, but does not show up in "Safely Remove Hardware"

USB Drives works, but does not show up in "Safely Remove Hardware"
    windows 8
USB Drives works, but does not show up in "Safely Remove Hardware"
    Here are my symptom
    - USB Flash Drives , USB External HDD works normally
    - I can see them in "My Computer"
    - I can open "Safely Remove Hardware" via Run Command, but there is no device in the list
    - They show up as "Disk drives" in device manager
    - When I right click their icons in "My Computer", there is no option to "Eject" them
    - In "Disk Management", they show up as "Basic". Prior to this issue, they were "Removable"
After I tested, it seems that my Vista detects every USB storage device as a normal HDD.
I don't know why but I'd appreciate any help because I have to plug-in and remove those drives often, especially flash drives.
    Thank you

  • Unmounting of redirected USB Drives in Solaris

Does anybody have an idea how I could get some USB devices redirected to Windows but USB drives keep mounted in Solaris?
I've got a project in which some USB-devices (biometric scanners) must be redirected to Windows, but not storage devices (pen drives etc.). Since it's not possible to configure selective USB redirection on USB device type, we will have to disable USB drives on Windows level.
My problem is now, that USB storage devices will be automatically unmounted in Solaris as soon as a Windows session is opened. My idea was to change utprepmount or utdomount to ignore unmounting if it's caused by uttsc. However, it seems that these scripts are always called by utmountd, whether someone unplugs the device or it is redirected to Windows.
Any ideas on how I could keep my drives mounted?
    Thanks
    Roland

3rd party USB drivers are not yet supported. The details of the interface have not been sufficiently worked out to make a general purpose interface available. It could be possible to get access to the interfaces as they stand by making a deal under NDA.
