Windows 8 Toshiba p100-415 Audio-driver

I have installed new Windows 8 on my Toshiba p100-415. I even have already installed all drivers correctly, except the Audio-driver. I can not find a driver, that works. I already had the same problem when I installed Windows 7, but then I solved the problem sometimes. But now it won´t work!

That doesn't appear to be a US model, and this is the forums for Toshiba USA. You may want to contact Toshiba in your region. If it's a European model, you could check the Toshiba Europe forums.

I cannot find the HP Compaq® Pavilion DV2130US Windows® 7 32 Bit audio Driver. This unit also comes with a small remote that I assumes runs on blue tooth. This also does not work. Are they linked together.

    Hi:
Did you try the Vista audio driver from your notebook's support and driver page?

  • Windows 7 Conexant HD Audio Driver for dv2214us...

If you have installed a version of windows 7 on your dv2214us series notebook, most likely you do not have the correct audio driver (the QLB for Mute will not turn amber and you lose settings in "Playback devices").  To correct this, 1st open device manager and unistall the current "microsoft audio device" driver under the device driver properties (you should now have no sound).  Then download & install driver in the support page... direct link for dv2214us is: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp39501-40000/sp39520.exe  At this point the install will seem like it will come up with unsigned microsoft driver for x86 users (you should have sound now, but if you reboot, it goes away).  For x64 users, you will have a FAILURE  and not get to the unsigned driver screen.  You will have to go into the swsetup folder and install from the x64 folder (C:\swsetup\SP39520\V64\setup64), now you will also get the usigned driver screen. To avoid FAILURE with x64, you can cancel the install on the 1st screen (shows UPGRADE in task)  the locate the x64 folder decribed.
Since HP has not published theses drivers to microsoft for the Windows 7 OS, they do not currenlty have a signed version for the coxexant driver found in this labtop.  Until this driver gets signed you can bypass this by using Driver Signature Enforcement Override located at http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo  You will have to use device manager and locate all the .sys assigned to this driver under the "driver details" found in the "driver" tab of the device properties and add them using the override program.  You might have to reboot a few times to get it right.

Windows 7 is still a PRE-RELEASE OS until the OFFICIAL release date of October 22nd.  Toshiba and other manufacturers are still working on their drivers and may not have fully functioning drivers until then.  My advice is be patient and wait for them to get all of the bugs out.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

  • Satellite P100-239 - Sound driver for Windows 7

    Hello,
I need some support for installing audio driver for my Satellite P100-239. I tried different things but noone works. So I'm searching for a mate who give me a solution to fix my sound prob. I am sure it is a conneax hd audio.
I cant flash bios with BD1_BIOS(V4.80)_Update (is it possible for installing soundcard?)
    THx for any help

    Hi Salomon82,
I founded a similar thread regarding sound drivers for Windows 7 on Satellite P100:
    http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=191495&#191495
It seems that the Vista driver also work on Windows 7! :)
Furthermore its not necessary to update the BIOS for installing sound card drivers because firstly you should try the correct driver.

  • Toshiba M305D : blue windows screen during the install of Windows 7 / Vista, no Audio on Windows XP

    Dear Users
Last week I had a clean install of Windows 7 64bit on my M305D-S4830 laptop.
I've used this OS on this machine before, and it worked fine.
After installing Win7, the device manager showed 2 unknown devices. First I've installed the O2 multimedia card reader, and it went ok. Secondly I've installed for the unknown device "hdmi audio" a hdmi audio driver from ATi, since the notebook has AMD 780V chipset and a Radeon HD3100 (it hasn't any hdmi output, but I didn't want to have any unknown devices).
    And my nightmare begun.
While restarting after the driver upgrade, my brand new Win 7 boot hang on blue screen code: 0x00000124, which is common for many hardware and software faults. I ran safe mode to clean the system from the hdmi audio driver, but the catalyst install manager dind't let me to remove it. Since it was a fresh install on a formatted HDD, I took the time for another clean install (20 mins). But during the Win 7 install, the installer hang on blue screen, guess what, code: 0x00000124. I changed to the factory-backup Win Vista disks of my laptop, but Vista had the same problem, I couldn't install this OS either, blue screen during install, too.
I took a Win XP Prof SP3 as a last option, and I could finally install it. But after the install, I had problems with the Radeon HD3100, I couldn't install the driver from the .exe, I had to make it from the device manager via properties/I choose to/graphics adapters/own disk. So I don't have the control centre, but the display works in 1280x800.
The bigger problem is: no sound.
The device manager in Win XP shows only one unknown audio device: the hdmi audio. I can't install the conexant drivers, because it says I don't have the device for that. When I install the ATi hdmi driver for XP, I get the blue screen with the error 0x00000124. Nice.
I have updated bios, and made a proper format with the partititons deleted, but it didn't helped. I think the Vista/7 install crashes at the point, when it tries to install the audio driver during OS install, because the XP was running until I have tried to install it, too. But I can't configure the Vista/7 install not to try loading it.
So my laptop is only comnpatible with XP, the install of Vista or 7 crashes. And in XP, I have got no audio devices, therefore no sound. You can imagine, how glad I am looking at my Harman/Kardon speakers right now...
    Any ideas?
    Alex

    Satellite M305D-S4830
    Any ideas?
Alex, restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media. If you didn't burn them, order the discs.
       Order Toshiba Recovery Media
If it doesn't run properly after that, you have a hardware malfunction.

  • G510 audio driver installation problem on Windows 8.1

I've just received my brand new Lenovo G510 and installed Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit onto it.
Most of the drivers from the attached CD installed without any problems (though I was quite surprised that no newer versions were available on the Support wrbpage) but I can't install audio driver.
Apparently this series is equipped in either Conexant or Realtek audio chips and the provided setup application is desigend to detect the correct chip and run the appropriate driver installation program.
The problem is that setup is not working for me. All I receive is the notification "This utility can not be used on this machine". Since there are no "orphan" audio devices in the Device Manager, I can't really tell which audio chipset is installed in my machine. I don't want to install both dirvers as it may just cause confilcts.
How can I say which audio chipset is installed and install the correct driver?
    Solved!

    hi mikolajek,
    Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
    Under Device manager
You should look for your Audio
Normally it stays under Sound and gaming controller,
And if no driver is installed in shows as High Definition Audio
Right click on it and select Properties
         Go to the Details TAB
change the Value to Hardware ID then check the details
    ex. PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_051014E4&REV_01
Get the 4 digit after VEN and DEV
Ven is the Vendor and Devi is the Device
Go to PCI database and do a search for the VEN
Then search for the DEV and youll know that device
    Regards
    Solid Cruver

  • Dolby Audio driver cannot start after upgrading to Windows 8.1

    Hello.
Windows 8 was the worst thing that happened to Windows, but since I bought this G505s laptop with Win8 pre-installed, i had no other choice to go to. Few days after the purchase, Windows 8.1 arrived and I updated 8 to 8.1 hoping to see some improvements. But to my sadness, 8.1 has ruined my expectations, and Lenovo didn't even care to address the user issues in 8.1
    Here are my Issues :
OneKey Recovery : Updated to 8.xx.xx.xxxx
The OneKey Recovery app tells that 'Current system cannot create a backup'
I can't have a secure laptop without it creating the Recovery !!
Lenovo, please address this issue and fix the OneKey Recovery Problem !!
Dolby audio app : Doesn't open, and if once it starts, cannot configure the Equalizer !

    hi sotim01,
    Thanks for posting!
    1. Uninstall all components,
Open Device Manager and Uninstall your Conexant audio under Sound and ganing controllers (make sure to place a check under delete driver software for this device)
    2. Open Control Panel Uninstall a program and highlight the dolby component and an Uninstall button will appear.
    3. Open your C: drive and Delete any folder that says drivers if non then continue with the next step
    4. Download this Driver for installation
            Conexant Audio Driver
    Install it and continue
    5. Open Drive C: now and you should have the Drivers folder back.
Open that, Open Connexant Open Dolby Gui,  then you should have Dolbyaa for Advanced audio.
Restart your PC and there you go!
    Let me know your findings
    Cheers!

  • How can I install audio driver from BootCamp into Windows 7?

After an uneventful installation of Window 7 (64) onto iMac  cor 2duo OS X 10.6.7.
    NO SOUND.
I have tried to replace the Audio Driver HD through Device Manager: it is not working
      a) if I disable the Windows Driver and try to install the Cirrus driver from the BootCamp disc, I am informed that "device already has the optimal driver"
      b) if I unistall the WIndows driver, Sound Video Game Controller disappears from Device Manager-so there is no place through which I can install a new driver.
    c) If I start from the BootCamp/Driver folder and select Cirrus and Install, I am again getting the answer that the "device already has the optimal driver"
I am frustrated! Please, can you advise how to proceed?

You do NOT want to disable unless you are not going to use a device.
You want to rollback or uninstall and get Cirrus driver.
Try Boot Camp (Setup) repair-reinstall - to enable the device.

  • HP Pavillion dv6500 with windows xp pro AND NO audio Driver!

i have a hp pavilion dv6500 laptop entertainment pc here with me.  It came with windows vista but i downgraded to windowx xp pro.  it runs alot smoother!  Everything works great except one problem?  The audiio drivers that the hp websites has does not work?  I cannot find the right audio drivers?  I have tried even letting windows update search for the drivers with no luck?  Why are the drivers on the website not working?  How can i get this to work?  if i upgrade it to windows 7 can i intergarde the vista drivers to work with the windows 7 program?  i really need help!  Thanks!

The General XP Downgrade Guide for HP notebooks is what you need to read. This well written guide has helped (at least!!) thousands of forum members downgrade their notebook successfully. There is a section that applies to your notebook.
The issue you are having probably is related to not installing the MSUAA driver before the device specific audio driver.

  • Satellite P100: Conexant audio is not supported on Windows Vista 64bit

Last week I install the new system as Windows Vista 64bit but no sound. I think that was the problem with the 64bit audio driver. Is that anyone has the new driver for vista 64bit?

It seems some devices are not recognized by Vista common drivers which were shipped together with the Vista OS and therefore new drivers are needed. But because the Vista is not official on the market (official start is end of January 2007) the drivers are not published.
But where did you get the 64bit Vista version???

  • U530 Touch - Audio DRIVER ERROR - This device cannot start (Code 10) - Windows 7

U530 - High definition audio device - ERROR - This device cannot start (Code 10) Windows 7, please see the picture
    Picture link (hosted on photobucket.com)
I got all drivers up to date including the BIOS, everything is working fine (the sound works, microphone works...) but this error is kind of annoying to my eyes so if anyone know how to fix it please help.
I tried to uninstall this and let windows update install it again => not worked, same problem.
I tried to re-install the Realtek driver (uninstall - restart machine - install - restart machine) => same problem
And another probelm which has not been solved yet is the Bluetooth icon keep blinking on battery mode (windows 7), you can see more in this thread

What kind of reinmstall did you perform?  If you used the recovery media, then this will be pretty simple. Boot to the recovewry media again and this time select the Reinstall drivers and applications option. Find the audio driver on the list of available drivers, put a tick in the box to its left and then click on the install button in the lower right hand corner of the window. The driver will be installed.  Your list will be different than the following one, but this is only an example.

  • IDT High Definition (HD) Audio Driver problem after windows 8.1 update 1.

Hello. I have HP Probook 4730s. After I installed Windows 8.1 update 1 the sound driver stopped working properly. When I want to play some music, video or even system sounds, sound appears after 1-2 minutes. At that time HDD usage is 100% cause of windows audio device graph isolation. I’ve installed that IDT High Definition (HD) Audio Driver from HP’s driver support site, but that’s not working. As I see in device manager driver’s release date is 24.10.2012. I think, it’s too old for Windows 8.1. Can you help me? Is there any other newer version of that sound driver? Also I’m sending two pictures where are HDD usage and driver release date.
