Windows AD - Authentication drop down not there in Infoview X1 R1

Windows AD - Authentication drop down not there in Infoview
When i log on the CMC i get the drop down and my log in and password works, I set up the Windows AD in CMC and it says it is enabled.
I have tried the suggestions in this link: http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1573897&page=5
But it does not work. Any suggestion(s)?

I don't believe Windows AD authentication was supported in XI Release 1 Java.

Firefox now always stores the old session which you can access by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session".
If you always open the last set of tabs, an alternative approach is this:
# Click the orange Firefox button, then select options to open the options window
# Go to the General panel
# Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Application sccessfully opens on IPAD but drop down not working even we can not select any value from the drop down.

Hi,
There are known restrictions for browser support in web dynpro abap. You may have to implement the "Unified rendering corrections " SAP Notes for your netweaver version which has constant updates for browser support, UI element enhancements and other corrections Or import the relevant support packs.
For ex: SAP Notes: 1677729 and 1672454

Version: SRM 7.0 SP05
Message - no input help due to errors when checking the display authoriz.

- Note 656633 desribes pre-requisites for ERP RFC-user using F4-help.
- Assign SRM standard role /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE during F4-help testing.
- Check RFC-dialog for F4-help destination using SM59.
- ERP F4-help destination must be maintained in IMG table bbp_backend_dest.

Solution:
Step:1
Assign SRM standard or custom role like /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE to user; Please make sure multiple values been maintained in attribute CNT cost center in PPOMA_BBP for the user

Disable BE_F4_HELP authority activity for role /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE in BBP Component > SRM: General Access Authorizations in EBP
Step: 3
Apply SAP Note 668746 - COIN - Switching off OKB9 in EBP scenario in SAP R/3 as per note 815849 Solution 1
System will check during the processing of account assignment objects in an EBP scenario, the backend system reads the default account assignment (Transaction OKB9) as usual if EBP does not provide any account assignment. This note will Switch off OKB9 in EBP scenario and it will list the CNT values from PPOMA in the shopping cart account assignment F4 help.

Drop down not working in ie8

Hi and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
I have a site http://www.webworksnow3.com/src id:src, pwd:src12345. There is a spry horizontal menu and a spry vertical menu on the pages under "About Us". When on one of the children pages with an active vertical menu, the horizontal menu "About Us" drop down does not work. Check it out on any of the pages "Our Firm" or "Our Team". It works in Firefox but not ie.

I was using a template for the sub pages and I was sticking things in the editable regions, not paying attention to order. I pulled the DOMUtils out and put it as the first <script> on all pages and it works!

Paragraph format drop-down not opening automatically with F9

Hello,
I use FrameMaker 9.0p237 on Windows 7. When I am exiting a document and press the F9 key, the paragraph format drop-down appears in the bottom left of the window. However, the drop-down does not open automatically. I must manually open it or type in the name of a paragraph format. When I used Windows XP, it opened automatically and I could easily see what options I could choose when typing, or just click one. This is slowing my process at editing because it is tedious to manually open the drop-down. I can't easily type the formats' names because I do not yet remember them by heart. Please see attached screenshot of area of window in question.
Is there a way I can get this drop-down to open automatically like it used to? I sure hope so. Thank you.

Thanks to everyone to responded to my question... In summary, I would categorize this as a bug in the product. It really slows down my ability to edit quickly. I'll work more toward memorizing the paragraph format names so I can simply type them. Thanks again.

SP2010 Bug? Cannot change List View in Ribbon. List view drop down not responding?

In all of my Libraries I have 3-5 views (standard and custom), I cannot select them from the Ribbon thought, the drop down button does not respond when clicked (nothing happens):
When going with the mouse over the drop down button it shows "javascript:;" in the IE status bar.
The only way to change the view, for the moment, is to do it via Library Settings and set the selected view as default.
Is this a know issue? Is there any settings that I`m missing?

Flash drop downs not working in IE7

I created a drop down menu in Flash 8 and used Dreamweaver to
place it in an HTML page. It looks great in Firefox and Safari, but
when I preview it in IE7, the rollovers on the main navigation bar
work, but the drop downs do not. If I preview the swf only (not in
the HTML page) in IE7, the drop downs appear.
I know there are issues with IE7 and Flash, but I can see
that it works, just not in my page!! please help. Thx.

Thanks for your help. I have solved the problem thanks to your help. The key was the master page. Once I unlinked the topic from the master page everything started working again.
I created a new master page whe the same items on an used that and now everyting works as I would expect.

Search criteria drop down not working in CRM 7.0 Web UI for few users.

Hi Gurus,
i have come across problem in sap CRM 7.0 web ui,
it goes here....
when a user opens a webui page and goes to "account management" work center page under "search" work center link group... he selects "accounts"(or contacts or account plan)... there in search criteria fields..(account id,role,country etc ) drop down list is not working for him...he can only see only which is maintained as default but if wants to change it by drop down list selection it is not possible...for me it is working ..can u please suggest what is missing in his case..?
if it is authorization issue please tell which object should i check..?

Please check if the user is assigned to a Business Partner.If not then assign the User to a Business Partner and check.

Linking a page as a browser window from a drop-down menu item

I have tried to link from a drop-down menu item to link to a small browser window instead of a full page. I tried using the "behaviors" but I got both the regular page and the browser window. Is there a way to make it just the browser window.

I tried that target=_Blank" but I still got the regular page plus the small browser window . I got rid of the Behavior for now. My aim is to would display the page in a simple 450 wide x 450 long browser window with a scroll bar with nothing else. If you can give me a code hint to do that, It would be appreciated. I'll figure out the rest.
My HTML coding skills are limited, as I'm used to using FP.(FP seems to be to the Web circles as the Bard's Scottish Play is to the theatrical world)

CUP- 5.3 -Application drop down not populated

In request configuration > application config I see there an app with check box greyed out. This has appeared here by default
While creating stage in Approver Determinator field I choose application approver.
I went to create application approver under approvers but drop down for application is not populated.
Any suggestions on why is the application that I can see in application configuration not appearing in application drop down while trying to create application approver?

Drop Downs not working in chm Files

Hi
I have just upgraded to RH9, an dhave the latest patch. I noticed that drop downs I have created don't work They did in RH8.
Here is the senerio
Upgrade project
Compile it as a chm file
Drop downs work
No edit the topic and recompile
View same topic in the chm file. Drop down link formatting appears, and appears clickable (Hand over) but when clicked the drop down does not work
Any ideas
This is happing on 2 PCs one Windows 7 one XP both wiht the latest version of RH

Drop Downs not reading data

This is probably a very dumb question, but ...
I have 2 forms, one is working great, reading from the database and showing the drop downs properly
The other is set up the same way, started from a new form, but is not allowing any drop down interaction.
Just shows the first record. and is greyed out.
Question: What would cause this and where do I look to try and fix this?

Which version of Guides are you using? I assume that the DDList is getting populated from a Web Service call. There are many things that can go wrong and it is difficult to say without seeing the form.
Can you post it?
If it is an ES2 guide you will have to create an LCA file.

Firefox drop down not allowing page redirect is preventing me from auto running and installing software

When I try to install software, Firefox window opens with a drop down box stating Firefox is not allowing page to re-direct. I click on allow, and it goes back to original page. It is preventing me from auto run and installing software. I tried several times, and it just runs me in circles. When I click to allow page re-direct, I click auto run and it send me right back to Firefox page with same thing. Very frustrating.

When do you get this redirect?
Is that when you (try to) visit other websites?
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

You can look for suspicious extensions.
