Windows and itunes error message
I get an error message each time I install itunes. "itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close." I can't get itunes to open. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no success. I even tried system restore. How can I resolve this?
itunes is installed and works fine until I close the program for a short time. When I try to open itunes at a later time I get the original error message. The only way I can get itunes to run again is to uninstall and reinstall again, only to repeat the same results. How can I get itunes to install and run without any problems?

How To Retrieve Lost Songs and iTunes Error Messages Persist?
I had my computer wiped clean recently, and apparently when I reinstalled iTunes I mistakenly wiped out all my library and my Ipod music also, during the installation process.{I am not sure if the Ipod music library is still on my external hard drive cuz I can't open iTunes due to the error messages}
. Since this time I keep getting error messages from iTunes as soon as I complete my iTunes installation. I have reinstalled Itunes with the hard drive off and on, and still get the error signature message{{iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close} with files in report like this:C:\docume~1\Roger\locals~1\temp\a476_accompat.txt
So I what do I do now? Help!!!!!!!!!!!Make sure you still have SP 2 installed on your Windows XP.
Click start.
Right click My Computer
Click Properties
If you need to update your service pack to SP2, you can download and install it from www.microsoft.com
If you do still have SP 2 installed on your computer, just try reinstalling iTunes.
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download
You may also want to try downloading and installing the standalone version of Quicktime, which is required to be on your computer in order for iTunes to run.

iTunes 10.6.0.40 will not open on Windows 7, no error messages come up. Have tried un-installing it and re-installing it many times. Please help.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

My 6th generation nano isn't recognized by my computer. When I plug it in an error message pops up, which says "USB Device Not Recognized". Does anyone know how to start trouble shooting this? I updated both windows and iTunes.
Work through all the suggestions in this Apple support document first.

I am running Windows 7 (64bit) , and an error message appears following a recent update to iTunes v 11.1.2: "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. An unknown error occured (-3212). Make sure your network connection is active and try again." I have dug a little bit into possible problems but haven't found a solution yet, one note is that the network connection is OK. A response would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I have tried several times to install iTunes update 11.1.4 on my PC. I get a message saying that install was not successful and an error message of MSVCR80.dll not present, Error 7, (Windows error 126). I am told to reinstall iTunes, but nothing changes. What next? I've not had this problem with other updates requested by Apple.
I have also had the same problem with my Win 7 32 bit computer. I had great help from Apple techs in Montreal and Orlando for 2.5 hours. They helped me remove every trace of Apple products and clean the registry in two different ways. Each install gave the same problem! If Apple techs can't fix it (on some of our machines) then we are really in trouble. They promised to raise it with the "engineers" and get back to me with a solution. I am waiting and hoping. Otherwise maybe version 11.1.5 will have a fix ??

When I connect my iTouch to my PC (windows 7) an error message is displayed reading "iTunes was unable to load dataclass information from sync services. Reconnect or try again later". I have completely uninstalled and then reinstalled iTunes. I have also completely reset my iTouch to factory defaults. I have even followed all the advice provided previously to other forum member with the same problem. Nothing seems to work. Please help me someone.
I'm getting the same problem with both my IPad 4 and iPhone 5
Just started a few weeks back, Since then I have had two Itunes updates.
Is this something Apple is aware of and trying to fix? -

I just set up my new iMac, and receive error messages when trying to purchase from the iTunes store (error 8003) or update from the App store (error 403 forbidden). THOUGHTS?
I am not sure what you mean by "Flash Player for steam"; the only Flash Player installers I know is the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) and the plugin (for other browsers); you can find both at http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_header

Updating iTunes 12.1 and get error message "The procedure entry point CMBlockBufferCopyDataBytes could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll". What went wrong and how to resolve this?
Entry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of.

ITunes: Error Message 1607 and other problems!
Hey guys, I would appreciate it so much if you could lend a helping hand with this problem:
I attempted to install the new iTunes 5.0 on my Windows XP and after asking which language I would like, a few green bars scroll horizontally across the screen that lead me on to think it was working and then Error Message 1607: Unable to install Installshield Scripting Runtime pops up on my screen. Also, when I attempt to open up my current iTunes, nothing works. I tried double clicking from my desktop, My Computer, the Start Menu and everything else - nothing works. When I plug my iPod mini in, it prompts me to select a program to edit the iPod with but iTunes is not on this list. I have also tried re-installing iTunes from the CD that came with the iPod and this failed to work also.
How do I fix this problem? I am ready to rip my hair out!
Thank you so much.
-EJEJ,
Open Performance and Maintenance control panel
Select Administrative Tools
Select Local Security Policy
In the dialog that comes up, expand "Security Settings"
Expand "Local Policies"
Expand "User Rights Assignments"
In the right hand panel, look for "Impersonate a client after authentication".
What do you have set for this security setting? -
