Windows can't find a website but firefox launches anywah

When I click on a firefox icon i put on my desktop for a particular website, Windows [Vista] says it can't find the website, but then Firefox opens and goes to the website. The box stays there and does not go away. I had a similar problem with Firefox 3.xx but it went away and then opened the page. Now I have to close the box.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

1. You cannot make changes in iTunes: it only reads the feed. You have to make any changes in the feed itself - in your case in Podomatic. When for example you add a new episode you simply add it to the feed. There is no need to do anything else; subscribers will see it almost immediately and the Store will update in 1-2 days.
2a. I can't adviseon the specifics of Podomatic. The 'itunes:new-feed-url' must be added to the RSS feed, not to the web page which is where it looks as if you are trying to add it. iTunes does not read the web page, only the feed. I have a feeling that Podomatic will not allow you access to the feed to add this tag, but I don't know for sure. If you can't add it you will have to contact Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com and ask them to move the Store to using a different feed.

Firefox 4 versions aren't supported by security updates that are included in Firefox 5.0 and Firefox 3.6.18. If you are gonna "go back", use 3.6.18 instead.

When loading firefox i get an error message, "can't find ////jpsnotify.exe. now firefox loads but every time i go into anything else it appears. this started to happen when i downloaded a new verison of java.

There is no equivalent in Firefox. You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3145/ BlockSite] extension to add a similar feature.
If the junk sites are coming up whilst you are browsing, this may be caused by malware. You should consider scanning your computer with some malware programs. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:

Why am I getting an error message,"windows can not find(my Yahoo mail launch address)"when accessing Yahoo mail site?

Using WindowsXP, and e-mail via Yahoo,browser is Firefox 4.0.I get the following error message when accessing yahoo mail site:"http://us.f831.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?action=welcome&yy=1782408664&.rand=0qrsdp1o...Windows can not find(the above address is inserted here).make sure you typed the name correctly,and try again". After this message is displayed on my desktop it begins to fade,and the inbox of my yahoo mail is then displayed..I am able to work all functions of the mail without problems.( I might add at this point that i access the mail program via a desktop icon).When I close out of the program the error message box with the error described above is displayed again on my desktop.I must click on the "X" to remove it.I can access my yahoo mail via Internet Explorer with no problem,as well as accessing via my yahoo home page.

The best quality templates are on themeforest for around $18. This is the only serious attempt I've seen at making professional Muse templates. But it's really good to see Muse taken seriously by a big template website. There are some others doing great work too like muse-grid. Stylishmusetemplates has the best free templates I've seen so far.
I see so much potential for new Muse designers in this area I'm working on my own site Musefreetemplates. If any budding Muse developers want to contribute I'm all ears.
Muse may seem easy at first but the design process is still very involved if you want a pro look. Good templates can help.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
Then you will be able to navigate to the Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and get the domain.sites file for copying to the other Mac.
