Hello,
I have a 5310.
Just installed PC suite 7.0.9.2
The PC has Windows XP Edition 32 bits, service pack 3
When i try to connect the mobile to the PC (via USB cable CA-101), i select connection via cable, then i receive the message : Windows is intalling the pilots PC connectivity cable, thanks for waiting. Then nothing happens..

Uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Connectivity cable driver, PC COnnectivity solution, Nokia flashing cable driver(if any on your PC), Run PC Suite cleaner. Install latest Nokia PC Suite from nokia.com/pcsuite, reboot your pc. Once pc started, connect your phone with USB in different ports of your PC and check

'Windows cannot install required files' error while installing Vista SP1

I'm installing Vista Client SP1 on my Macbook pro and getting the following error:
Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation.
Almost exactly as described in this KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930984/ except my error code is 0x80070017. I'm double-checked CRC on my dvd to ensure it's not corrupt. Also I've previously successfully installed Vista SP1 from the SAME DVD on a different Mac Leopard (desktop)
Any ideas? This is a new Macbook pro, just got it yesterday. Could be DVD drive issue?

Errors "A media driver your computer needs is missing." or "Windows cannot install required files" upon attempting to install Windows 10 TP build 10041 64-bit

I'm attempting to install Windows 10 TP build 10041 [64-bit]
I am currently being prevented from installing by a "A media driver your computer needs is missing." error, which occurs fairly early in the process. I've interpreted further text in the message as a suggestion that it's a DVD, USB or some other
similar driver issue. However, as I've been able to attempt each install through booting from DVD and USB, I'm not convinced this is the issue.
I'm currently installing to a 128Gb SSD drive. I have installed Windows 10 TP on my laptop's SSD with no issues.
On a few occasions the installation has continue with the installation, and then failed at about 6% with the following error:
"Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code 0x8007045D". I have not removed the installation USB or DVD.
I did not have this issue when installing build 9841, so am currently assuming this is an issue with build 10041.
Apologies if this query has been posed before, a search did not show up this issue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for trying to assist!
I attempted removing/deleting partitions and formatting the SSD as part of the install process. I have also tried installing via USB and DVD with the same issues.
As part of the troubleshooting, I attempted to install a different OS. I was able to successfully install Linux Mint 17.1 with no issues. This further solidifies my impression this is an issue with Windows.
I will try a different USB port, appreciate the suggestion, didn't think it would make a different given the various methods already attempted.

As you've already repaired Visual Studio but Visual Studio still reports the error for you, we need to look into the error info:
This package requires minimum version 0.0.0.0 of framework Microsoft.VCLibs.120.00.Debug published by any publisher to install.
So here we need this package "Microsoft.VCLibs.120.00.Debug"
Please do the following:
1. Check your installation that you have enabled VC++ components. If you haven't or if you are not sure of it, please check this blog:

Then you can download and install the package from

T500 windows cannot install!!

hi anybody out there,
i just got my laptop yesterday, and i turned it on so that it could boost and do its thing. at one point i am asked for a username and a password, at which i create one. then after it finishes its boot, it asks me for the password to enter, so i entered it and it didnt work, did this a number of times and nothing. i then go to safety mode and try creating another account, but it never appears at the start up, and when i tried to change users it wouldnt let me. so i went to safe mode again, and this time i hit system restore so maybe it could go back to its original settings w/o the password.... big mistake apperently, since now whenever i turn on the laptop it says windows cannot install. pleade restart or something, so i do that ,and the same message comes on. now ive tried the whole press the blue thinkpad thing and hit F11, but it doesnt work, it just beeps and restarts again, and ive tried hitting F1, but theres nothing there to help! please can somebody help me? thank u very much!

My answer came too late, but the only time I had problems with password is when I set the keyboard layout differently.
For instance, if I have a French Keyboard on a English XP, the first time I boot windows I have to type Q to get A.
If I lock the session, then it's ok A is A and Q is Q.
But from the error message you get, it seems like you're application is **bleep**ed up.
don't bother, just use the recovery CD to put your system back to factory settings.

Windows cannot install on Raid SSD's "Ensure disk controller is enabled....

I have two SSD's. I change the Sata Mode from AHCI mode to Raid Mode. I then created the Raid with both SSD's and created Raid 0. I loaded Windows 7 64 from bootable USB. I then installed the Sata Raid controller from another USB. It then shows the Partition in the Windows install but tells me this:
"Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The computer hardware may not support booting from this disk. Please ensure that the disk controller is enabled in the computer BIOS menu."
If there is something i need to do in BIOS please walk me through the screens to get there. Thank you
EDIT: Fixed.
I flashed my Bios to most recent update and Raid setup went fine and now installing windows. Lesson learned.

When installing os to raid those disk has to allso support raid. In my case of samsung 840 nonpro i was lucky and that support come via fw update.

Cannot Install Cisco Connect Express App On My Android Phone

Cannot install Adobe Connect Pro ADD-IN

I try to run the test to see if I pass the things that requires for using the program adobe connect pro. But I fail on the last one saying that ADD-IN didnt install correctly on my computer. I click on the button "Install here" but I get stopped by another pop-up window sayin that it is not possible to "get it" (in swedish "hömtningsproblem").
I need to help to "get" the adobe connect add-in!

Windows cannot install required files error while installing on brand new SSD

Hello,
Recently I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 15R with SSD and wanted to install Windows 8.1 pro 64-bit on it. I downloaded the windows from Dreamspark with Secure download manager. I made a bootable USB stick twice with
Windows USB/DVD Download tool, booted the windows setup, formatted the ssd and tried to install when i got this error. As I recall the error code was something like this "error 0x80070570". Any advice how to overcome
this problem?

I would rebuild your USB install drive, you might have ended up with some corrupted files. Was this computer shipped with Win 8? if not then you'll need to set up your USB to boot UEFI, IE is has to be formatted fat 32, then on boot up hit which ever key
on your computer that brings up a boot menu select you UEFI USB drive

AAAGGHHH!!! Have WRT54G V8, all lights a go, but cannot detect internet connection

Any help is a Plus!!! Just bought my wife a WRT54G V8 router from Best Buy. The thing is less than 2 weeks old. Have yet to figure how to set it up. I have ran the CD, it gets to about %89, stops and says "Cannot detect internet connection, ck cables and try again". Have went through the speal w/the phone self help setup, downloaded the instructions from the Liksys support site, and set on hold for about 30 minutes before getting sick of waiting for help. I don't have a firewall other than the Windows firewall, my DSL service is through Verizon (MSN). When the router is hooked up I can't sign on to the internet at all. If I unhook the router and hook the modem back into the computer it works fine. I am at a loss, Please Help!!!

Melsky, this is a very confusing post.You say to check the ip you get when connected to the modem, if it is a 192.168.1.1 address then disconnect the modem from the internet port of router.
First, you would never get a 192.168.1.1 address from the modem. If the modem has a built in router or just a dhcp server IT would most likely be 192.168.1.1 so it would not assign that address to anything else.
Second, you say to check ip directly connected to modem, but then you say to disconnect the router if the address is a 192.168 address. If they connect directly to the modem, the router is already disconnected.
Very confusing.

New ipod - "cannot install this hardware" and "access is denied"

Over the weekend I got a new iPod Video. Previously I had an iPod Photo. This new one plugged in just fine on my two computers at home but will not install to my work computer.
It will work as I can play and transfer files through iTunes, but everytime I plug it in I get USB errors:
"Windows cannot install this hardware - access is denied"
In the Device Manager it gives me a "Code 28"
Like I said, it does seem to work, I just want to make sure this isn't going to screw anything up when I plug in each day and get these errors.

iPods use the standard Windows USB mass storage drivers. it is possible for those to go walkabout on a PC. if that is what has happened to you, the techniques from this MarkJones post may be of some assistance:

Install cisco connect on multiple computers

Hello all,
I've installed the cisco connect software on my laptop because I thougt it was only for the installation of the router. But now I found that you can also change settings with the software.
So I want to install the software on my desktop pc. But everytime I start up the software it wants to set up my router for the first use.
Isn't is possible to install the software on multiple computers?

I was interested in installing this utility on more than on PC at home so I called Cisco tech support. Let me tell you Cisco's customer service quality is not what it used to be. The rude representative who I ended up talking to said, I cannot install Cisco Connect on more than one PC. Then she kept telling me my free tech support 90 day period is over. Once I heard that, I forgot why I'd called them in the first place as it hasn't been even 30 days since I bought the router.
Anyways, next day I tried to chat with Cisco support. First person said I can then since I had lost my confidence, I chatted again and this time the second person I chatted with told me "YES you can install it on more than one PC". Honestly, I don't trust them and have to continue my research. I am very interested in the answer.

Cannot install Server 2012 using USB bootable flash.

We plan to upgrade Server 2003 to Server 2012. I downloaded Windows Server 2012 R2 ISO file from the below link.

Then make this ISO file on bootable USB flash and boot it on computer.
During Windows Setup installation after select partition,

It displayed message that The installation was canceled.

I have tried the following ways.
- re-downloaded the ISO file again
- Installed on VHD
- Installed on different computer
- Tried choosing Server Core Installation or Server with a GUI
Still got the same error. Plese help me how to solve?

I'm not clear about your problem statement. Are you saying that after downloading re-downloading the ISO, the installation failed in all three different installations?
If so, it really does sound like bad media. There have been other instances in this forum where the person downloading was apparently hitting a server on the internet that had a bad copy of the media. They got around the problem by downloading
from a different location, for example, a different part of town that gets routed to a different download server.
