Windows Client available for AccAD 2.3?

Hello,
we've downloaded the new AccAD version 2.3 today to begin trials. We noticed that the installation package for the windows client is corrrupt (only 31 bytes)? Is this a packaging error or is the Windows client missing for 2.3?
Best regards
Victor Viqueira Rodriguez

Hello,
unfortunately there is no such section
Comprised Software Component Versions
under the AccAD 2.3 tree so that I can download the client separately.
There is only a link to
Link to SP Stack Application
in which I end up in an error showing:
An unexpected error occurred while calculating the list of files for the SP Stack download. Please contact SAP Support for help in resolving this issue.
Start SP Stack:  AAD 2.3 FOR SAP NETWEAVER - ISS Initial Shipment Stack
Target SP Stack :  AAD 2.3 FOR SAP NETWEAVER - SPS 01 (10/2011)
Any suggestions
Thanks a lot and best regards

  • Windows 8 error "product key does not match any of the Windows images available for installation"

    Hi Experts
My HP Pavilion laptop came with window 8. I made the USB recovery for windows 8 using hp recovery manager. My windows was corrupted, while I was trying to install windows 7 in dual boot.
I used above USB recovery to restore factory default. But every time it is giving me error "HP Recovery Manager Failed error code = 0xefffff08"
Then I downloaded the OEM ISO mage for windows 8 and tried to do the clean install but now installation process is giving me error "The product key entered does not match any of the Windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key"
Please help me. To whom I have to contact?

    Hi ghost-rider,
Thank you for your query, I will do my best to assist you.
I understand you tried to do a recovery and you received this error  "oxefffff08".
First I would suggest you run a hardware diagnostics. Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 8)
If no hardware failures are located, you have ruled that possibility out.
Here is a link to Troubleshooting HP System Recovery Problems (Windows 8) that may help.
If you are still having an issue doing a recovery, I suggest contacting HP support and explain the issue you are having with doing a recovery. They may have another option available for you.

The clean install from an OEM image is looking for the product code as it does not match the one that came with the computer, You would need a new code.
    I hope this has helped.

  • The product key entered does not match any of the Windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key.

how do you manage to install windows 7 when the message on the screen is "The product key entered does not match any of the Windows images available for installation. Enter a different product key. "

That's a really helpful answer and not smug at all, thanks Carey.
I just downloaded a DVD image from my university's MSDN Academic Alliance program, named "Microsoft
Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 Debug/Checked Build 64-bit (English)", which I wanted to use to install over an existing 32-bit version. I thought the install screen was giving this weird unskippable error described in the OP before I even entered
a key because the 32-bit key I had used on the HDD was somehow interpreted to be used in an upgrade, but no. Even after I wiped the hard drive, this error persisted.
Guess I'll go Google some more on how to install my legit copy of Windows, because this self-serving shit sure isn't helping.

  • HP G62 -Windows 10 "this version of Windows not available for Windows 10 app"

I'm trying to schedule the Windows 10 upgrade and receive the message "this version of Windows not available for Windows 10 app". I have Win7 SP3, enough memory, everything else it says it requires. the only thing I can't verify is the graphics driver. What might the problem be?

I am using a HP G62a50sg ( APU ATI HD4250 Mobility and ATI HD 5470 Mobility ) . The Windows 10 Update showed that there were no compatabilty problems and I did the upgrade. Everything works fine only the graphics are the problem. I have installed Windows 10 64 bit (Clean) around 5 times and tried all the drivers starting from Windows 7 , Windows 8 ,orginal Notbook drivers von HP and also from AMD ( CC 15.7 Mobility) . Nothing seems to work. Windows 10 reconizes the graphics but doesn`t support the switchable graphic funktion. I think it is an issue with the APU HD4250 Mobility and the Chipset. The desktop has only the 1024 X 768 option and in the graphics manager ( desktop) shows the Graphics as Basic Microsoft Display Driver. I am still trying but I am running out of ideas.

  • Skype Windows client hangs for the first call - co...

    Hi,
Skype on my Windows 8.1 (depending on its mood) hangs for the first call. It will keep ringing and ringing till it times out, during that time I am not able to hang up the call as well, the red hang up button doesnt work and we have to let the call go on till it drops on its own. Then on the second try it connects perfectly fine. This happens most of the times, there are only a few days where it connects on the first try otherwise its always the 2nd time.
Please let me know what could be the possible solution for this one?
    Thanks

  • Airport software version 5 for Windows not available for download?

    Hi, Apple.
    You're kidding, right?
I can download the Airport 5 update for Windows, but that update won't run if AirPort 5 isn't already installed.
Where am I supposed to get it in the first place? My laptop is very tiny, it doesn't have a CD-ROM drive.
Don't bother replying to this.. By the time you read this message I will have already popped the CD in my Linux machine and copied the files over via SSH. Then I'll run the update.
In the future, please make things easier for me.
Furthermore, how about you update the Airport (N) itself so that it will add local machine's hostnames to the embedded DNS server? I mean, heck, you already have features that let me reserve IPs based on MAC address or DHCP client ID... Those machines in the least should be easy to resolve.
    Cheers,
    --Dave Loyall

I suspect that Apple wants us to buy the Airport Extreme, or replace our Airport Expresses with Apple TVs. The AX is a wireless G/B product, and the new draft is N ... which is better for streaming larger media files.
Anyway, you can try this for a Windows system:
    1. You will need a program called Less_MSIerables. Google it.
    2. Download it to your desktop and unzip that file (it should end up in your unzipped file folder)
    3. Now, download Airport Extreme software.
    4. Run
    5. A window will open that states "This Update requires AirPort Version 5.0 to be Installed".
    Don't exit from this window.
    6. <Vista> Instead, go Start ->start search and type in %temp%. Enter. <XP: use Run instead of Search and type in %temp%. Enter.>
    7. You will see a file folder called something like IXP050.TMP (the number varies)
    8. Open it.
    9. You should be able to see a file called APsetup.msi.
    10. Click your mouse on it, but don't open it.
    11. At the top of the window you will see the address of this file. If not, click the yellow file folder in the address bar. Copy that address.
    12. Next go to the folder in which you saved the unzipped version of Less_MSIerables
    13. In a subfolder you will see a file called Lessmsi.
    14. Right-click on this file
    <Vista Only>
    15. Go to properties.
    16. Go to compatability.
    17. Run in XP Mode
    18. Apply
    19. OK
    20. Again right-click on icon.
    21. Run as administrator.
    <Vista and XP>
    22. In the window that pops up, paste the address of Apsetup.msi
    23. You will see a list of many files, but one of the first will be APUtil.exe.
    24. Extract this file to a location that you can easily find.
    25. A file folder will appear with a name like cab#APSetup.cab1
    26. Open that file folder and you will see a file APUtil.exe
    27. Click on that file, and the admin utility will open. You should be able to find your airport device.
I suggest that you move this file to your desktop for easy access.
If you are doing this for an Apple computer, there are posts on how to do it; and I think it is a good deal simpler to do.
    Peace out.

  • 8.0.x client available for solaris?

My application server fails to connect to my (oracle 8.1.7 solaris 32 bit) database, producing an error which says it cant find libclntsh.so.1.0
It looks like version 8.1.7 client uses a shared lib called libclntsh.so.8.0 instead.
I created a symlink so libclntsh.so.1.0 pointed to the libclntsh.so.8.0 lib, but then got an error finding a symbol.
Where can i get the older client?
    thanks
please email [email protected] with info!

Oracle Instant Client was a "feature" introduced with Oracle 10g. There is no 9i version.
Code that links with Oracle 9i libraries should be able to be linked with Instant Client 10gR2.
The resulting application will be able to connect to databases from Oracle 8.1 onwards.

Any simple program available for testing installation of instant client for Windows.

Having a program means you need a dev environment to compile, link and then test it with your instant client env.
I would suggest you download sqlplus ZIP and connect to a DB server.

  • Cisco Jabber for Windows Client SDK

Is there an SDK for Cisco Jabber for Windows client? I could only find the Web SDK. Are there no other SDKs that would let me control features of the Jabber Windows Client?

And in order to avoid TAPI limitation, they say they have started using Jabber which controls all phone functionalities through an Application User connected to the Call Manager.
Assuming they are referring to the normal Jabber for Windows/Mac/iOS/Android applications then this is wrong. Jabber - the client, not the IM&P servers which are part of the CUCM cluster (if you're familiar with Lync consider CUCM+IM&P servers a Front End Pool) - do not use an Application User at all. When a user starts Jabber, assuming SAML SSO is off, they supply an email address. This is used to find the servers via DNS SRV records, or the Mobile and Remote Access Expressway (roughly analogous to a Lync Edge pool) to tunnel through the firewall. After the email address they are prompted for their End User username and password. This is then used to access several APIs on the server, namely the User Data Service to discover what the user has. This would include what the user has configured/available to them. After this is done the Jabber client does one of three things with respect to phone functionality:
If the user has no phone devices provisioned for them - physical or software - it becomes an IM&P client only.
If the user has a software phone phone provisioned, it registers as that using SIP. In this way Jabber is the actual phone. This is called a CSF device for Jabber Windows/OS X.
If the user has a desk phone assigned to their End User account AND administrative policy is to default to desk phone control, it registers to CTI Manager on the CUCM server to control the user's physical phone.
A user can toggle between option two and three, if appropriately provisioned, but cannot have both simultaneously. In other words, Jabber is either controlling a physical phone over CTI or is a phone itself using SIP. The difference is where the audio/video media is sent from/to.
All of this happens using that human's End User credentials.
Now, if you wanted to have a server control the user's phone - either a physical one or Jabber - you would use the TSP as an interface to CTI Manager on the CUCM server and receive real-time events (e.g. the user went off-hook, the phone is ringing with this caller ID, etc.) and issue commands to that phone (e.g. make a call to X). This is done using an Application User account because the server would need to do this for multiple users simultaneously. If you also use the Super Provider concept, the CUCM administrator doesn't have to take the extra step of associating every phone to your Application User manually. Instead, you can simply issue CTI subscriptions to see any/all device activity you want.
This is all assuming you wanted to do the integration server-side to avoid having to update the Cisco TSP application on every user PC (which also limits your WPF application to machines capable of running the TSP) every time the CUCM administrator patches the servers. If you don't care about that, then you can do this all client-side on the user's PC, and have them supply their End User credentials.
Of course, you could also reconsider the Jabber SDK and just embed the make/receive call functionality directly into your application instead.

  • Grid Control only 32-bit available for Windows

Couple of questions I was hoping to get some help with. Client is a windows only shop. We're installing Windows 2008 R1 64-bit, but Grid Control is only available with 32-bit for Windows. This will definitely cause issues, is the only around it to either load 32-bit, or is there any other option. And when will 64-bit be available for Windows? Thanks in advance.

Grid Control itself is a 32 bit application . It installs and works furpectly well on 64 bit Windows. I doubt we will ever see a 64-bit version of GC in the 10g series ... perhaps when they swap out OC4J with WLS and rebrand it as 11g they might put in a 64-bit version, but quite honestly there is little need for the 64-bit capability in the middle tier.
However, the database part can, and should, be swapped out for a 64-bit database. Which is supported in the install method.
I STRONGLY ENcourage the following sequence:
    1) Install 11gR1 database 64 bit, preferably patched to 11.1.0.7
    2) Install Grid Control 10.2.0.2.1 (note the .1) for Windows using the 'into an existing database' option
    3) Upgrade Grid Control to 10.2.0.5 (but that MAY require the 11.1.0.7 patch - check the README)
I STRONGLY DIScourage using the 'create with new database' as it will take a whole lot longer, requires upgrading and/or patching the database anyway, and potentially leaves you with an obsolete DB to contend with in the long run.
I also encourage skipping 10.2.0.4 if possible - it's more than a ruddy pain to patch to that one. I generally plan on 5-6 hours if I am forced to install a 10.2.0.4 GC from scratch, whereas the process I list above takes just over 2 hours to get to a 10.2.0.5

  • Manage Delegation/Secondary Cals for Windows Clients

    Hi there,
We're deploying Leopard Server in a mixed environment. Obviously, iCal works like a dream for our Mac users, but I'm running into a few stumbling blocks for our Windows and Linux users accessing the system VIA Sunbird.
First, is there any way for these users to manage their own delegation? Currently when I set up a Windows user, I'm creating a "fake" version of their account in my copy of iCal, configuring the appropriate delegation, and then deleting the fake account. I'd love for the end users to be able to manage who can view/edit their calendar on their own if possible.
Second, can users create a second calendar from within Sunbird, or is this something I would need to do and manage for them as well? A lot of us like to manage a work calendar (for meetings, etc) but also keep a personal calendar so that team members can keep tabs on availability and time off.
If this stuff isn't possible in Sunbird, is there some other Windows or Web-enabled client available that plays nice with iCal Server?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ryan

There is a command line tool that can be used to manually manipulate the proxy/delegate relationships:
    https://trac.calendarserver.org/wiki/CalDAVClientLibrary
That is currently the only way to manage delegates if you don't have iCal.

    >Also if previews are being kept in ProPhoto format instead of sRGB, the colors will be off. And doing an on-the-fly conversion to sRGB might be too slow to pull off.
The previews are usually in adobeRGB, except if you have the highest quality preview selected in which case it is prophotoRGB. To me, if this app indeed does not color manage, it sounds like the programmers were just lazy. Conversion to monitor profile (you never want to convert to sRGB for display you want to convert to monitor profile, which on uncalibrated windows machines usually (but less and less because of monitor makers supplying "drivers") corresponds to sRGB) is superfast and done in a simple system routine in both windows and Macs. No real extra programming, except maybe a few lines of setup necessary. It's far faster than decompressing the jpeg and scaling it and really does not add any significant overhead. The real bottleneck on an app like this is going to be disk speed anyway. On the Mac you'll have to go very far out of your way to not make it color manage, so I wouldn't be surprised if the mac version color manages. On windows it is almost as easy. Of course the app is free, so I guess we shouldn't be too harsh on them.
    >I suspect that things like cropping are not part of a 'preview' either.
They are. The preview is an exact representation of the file as developed in Lightroom. If it is not out-of-date, it should look exactly like what you see in the Library module in Lightroom.
    >I personally would not hesitate to send catalogs out to a client with 'less than optimal' color, since this is not meant to be a way to show off final work, but as an aid to view work-in-progress.
Personally I would never send my clients a lightroom catalog. It seems asking for trouble on so many levels. Most of them are very happy with simple galeries or just CDs/DVDs with jpegs as proofs as they would have no clue what to do with a lightroom catalog anyway, even with an app like this.
    >The potential for an application of this type is excellent, if you consider some inherent limitations that are hard to overcome based on the data that is available for it to work with.
I don't see the point at all. I think it is good that there is another app than Lightroom that reads the catalogs, but it seems an academic exercise. Opinions on this can vary I guess.
