Windows CP Bluetooth problem

I upgraded to Windows 8 CP from Windows 7 but bluetooth connection with my phone is not working after the upgrade.
Sending files from phone to PC is not possible with the error message "Unable to connect" though the PC 'sees' the presence of the phone. Any bluetooth driver available for Windows 8 yet?

Yeah, I am having bluetooth problems with an M5-481PT laptop. I can get it to work, but it's klugey. I also have Qualcomm Atheros (nearly 3 years old) and I suspect the Qualcomm Atheros since bluetooth speaker connection was always wonky in windows 8.1 as well. I recently reserved my copy of Windows 10 and the little app that checks compatibility for Windows 10 threw up several flags around the bluetooth in the Aspire. Bluetooth problem in ideapad s210 touch windows 8.1 and audio problem

Hi .. i have lenovo s 210
i have a problem with audio output, the sound is muted and it said that my bluetooth audio device can not be started. i download realtek High definition from the support system and the audio system start working again. But when i check the device manager the bluetooth problem still not fixed. It said i had a code 10 problem. I just recently update my windows to 8.1, but before there is no problem with the audio... and recently i find out that i can not use my bluetooth too. and all the bluetooth system seems doesn't work out

Actually, I solved this issue myself after a while.
I induced a system restore prior to the date when I began to experience this error.
It then happened once more, so I went to the "PC Settings" menu and selected "Update and recovery".
There were apparently updates to be installed, so I clicked "More details/information", and found that there were 3 Intel-related drivers that were listed, but for some reason, Windows 8 didn't automatically install them, so I checked each one of them and proceeded to install them and it has been smooth sailing for me ever since that.
SO.
A piece of advice for all those who have experienced the issue I detailed in my former post:
Check what updates need to be installed on your computer in the "PC Settings" app thing, and see if there are any driver-realted updates (like for your graphics card, especially).

IPhone and Windows 7 Bluetooth profiles

Just picked up the iPhone 4 last week and paired with my Windows 7 HP. No problems pairing but was surprised that there were only two bluetooth profiles enabled. I was expecting to also see the profile for OBEX to copy JPEG photos to and from the laptop. And I was expecting to see the AV profiles so that I can access music on the device from the laptop. I had both of these features on the Moto I replaced this with.
Anyone else paired up with Windows and bluetooth and seeing more than just wireless iAP and remote control under the BT profile services available from Windows? That's all I'm getting which is way less than my buddy with AT&T iPhone gets on his Windows 7 desktop and bluetooth.

TWIST: Strange Bluetooth Problem

This doesn't make sense to me. When the system is started from a completely powered off state, the bluetooth radio doesn't turn on and no devices will pair. The bluetooth icon in the taskbar is missing. I tried to manually turn it on but Windows won't let me (in the Wireless section of "Change PC Settings", the Bluetooth option is grayed out).
If I restart the system (from the powered on state), the radio turns on and everything works fine.The bluetooth icon in the task bar is visible and my devices will pair.
My wireless radio always works regardless of how I start the system. It has never failed through all of this wierdness.
I have the Intel Centrino version of the twist (i5, 128GB SSD) with the latest driver and the latest bios version. I tried re-installing the bluetooth drivers but I get the same results.
HISTORY: From day one, I never had any bluetooth or wireless problems. Last week the system was crashing with the error DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE. After a few of those I checked for updates and installed everything available to me (a bios update and a few other things but no actual drivers). After the updates, the bluetooth problem occurred. However, it's been a few days and I haven't had the Power State Failure crash.
I ran Lenovo's hardware scan and there are no problems with any devices.
Anyone have ideas what could be wrong?

I have been on the phone to Lenovo support. They say it has to do with power management, not all services restoring when PC is turned on. They asked me to,click the start button, run, enter compmgmt.msc, This opens a window to Computer Management. Now open device manager, expand Bluetooth, right click Broardcom Bluetooth 4.0, properties, power management tab, uncheck 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". I did all this and it made no difference on my PC. He then went on to say there is another way but it will add 10 seconds to the startup time of my PC which I am not willing to do. So things remain the same until I find a better solution. Has any one else had any luck with this annoying problem? Now I never shutdown my laptop, I just close the lid. Bluetooth starts again when the lid is opened.

E61 Bluetooth problem

Hi Guys,
Received my E61 this morning. Fantastic device Everything was setup and running and the final thing was to link the phone to the bluetooth gps receiver.
That's when the problems started. No matter what I try I cannot get the E61 to detect any bluetooth devices. I have tried picking up my laptop as well as the gps receiver - no joy. My laptop detects the GPS receiver but cannot find my phone.
Nokia say that this is a faulty phone but I thought I would ask here to see if anyone else has had this problem.
The bluetooth settings are:
Bluetooth: On
Visibility: Shown to all
Sim mode: off

Just to let you know that my laptop is using the Toshiba v4 bluetooth drivers as listed in Karims post:

Dv3-2155mx Bluetooth problem

I cannot get the bluetooth on my laptop to work. I've tried some fixes I've found online, but still nothing. I installed the windows mobile device center and tried to basically force it to recognize the bluetooth module but still nothing. In my device manager there is still no bluetooth. I also downloaded and installed sp46063.exe from the hp website but still nothing. The hp website lists the preequisites as:
- Bluetooth Module must be enabled and powered on. - Microsoft Windows 7 Bluetooth Bus Enumerator and Bluetooth Stack must be installed. - HP Wireless Assistant is required for device control via software.
I have no idea how to get these or what to do with them though.
I have a feeling that if I hadn't upgraded to windows 7 from vista that it would be working (cant be sure though, never tried using it until now). I dont know how much help this will be, but the only bluetooth service thats running is "bluetooth support service", and it IS running. Also, in system information, bthmodem and hidbth are stopped and in manual start mode. Would updating my bios possibly fix the problem? I was going to try this, but I'm having trouble downloading from the hp website. Probably because I'm in Japan. I actually had to have someone in the states download that other file and send it to me.

I read over the following article, which advised that the first troubleshooting step to take is isolating the issue - which it sounds like you already did with your wife's iPhone. So, since we took care of that and determined it is isolated, according to the article you'll want to restore the iPhone to its factory condition. You can read more about it here:

Try to reproduce the issue with an identical or similar accessory, if one is available, or test with a second device.
Example: If you hear static coming from the left audio channel, try connecting a different device or try connecting to a different stereo or accessory that connects over the same interface (30-pin or Lightning connector, Bluetooth, or headphone jack).
Restore iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you have isolated an issue to the device, restore iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to its factory condition. You should rarely need to use this step with an accessory issue. If the issue affects only a third-party accessory, contact the accessory manufacturer before restoring your iOS device.
If the device does not update successfully, the issue may lie with the device and not with the accessory. See one of the following articles, depending on your device:

Walk problem - Bluetooth problem

I'm using Maps 3.09 on Nokia N8 Belle, equally for Drive and Walk.
It's very annoying that Walk doesn't have it's own button like Drive, and that Walk isn't build the same way as Drive (i.e. the same menu-buttons. As an example, I can't find a way to just "Walk home". I really don't understand why those two (Walk and Drive) aren't designed the same way, just differing in those specific things when used in walk or drive mode.
Further there is a huge Bluetooth-problem. When Bluetooth is configured on the device, Maps asks which Paired Device to use, with the possibililty to cancel. But as a result, independent of the choice, Bluetooth is always (automatically turned) on, unneeded battery drain as a result, and it's impossible to use Maps without having Bluetooth on.

Unfortunatly the news is bad, very bad !
It would mean I could no longer be able to use my N8 in my car in combination with my Nokia Bluetooth GPS receiver.
It's not because Symbian OS is EOL for Nokia (despite they recently releases the pureview), that features should be removed. IMHO Symbian OS should never been abandoned, and many with me will NEVER go for a Windows-based smartphone. I hope Nokia is aware of that and take it into consideration.
Back to Maps, I understand the Bluetooth-problem I mentionned will never been solved, and that I should be very carefull when new versions (of Maps or Belle) are announced, as Bluetooth might no longer be useable at all in Maps.
To be honest .... all this is beyond my intellectual capacity to follow the reasoning behind the decisions. But yeah, we know there is a M$-guy responsible now at Nokia, that explains everything. When Symbian will de totally death, he'll get a big promotion at M$

How to fix the Bluetooth problems with the Treo

It’s pretty obvious by now that Palm had not intentions of addressing the Bluetooth problems with the Treo smart phones. As for me, I need to reset my Treo 700wx several times a day to keep the bluetooth connection working. At my house it simply does not work because I live in a rural area where my cell signal drops out continuously, only for a moment but that’s all it takes for the Treo loose the Bluetooth connection.
I’ve searched here on this board for a solution only to find out that I’m not the only one with this problem. I’ve searched the Internet and could not believe the endless complaints about this problem, not a single fix was to be found. I will be going to every single site I can find on the Internet where I can leave a review of this product and I would encourage others with the same problem to do the same.

The "Mobile Device" you see only shows what is on your Treo when ActiveSync is running and connected. When it's not connected, there is "nothing". This is good when you want to copy a file you have saved in RAM (main memory). Connect your Treo and have Activesync run (successfully, of course). Then, you will see all the accessible files on your Treo.
Please read the previous reply (I have added and edited it to respond to some of your questions). Also, since I have the Card Export 3.14 for the WM5 and 6 running and it works on my Treo 750, I believe it should also work for you. I have WM 6. Earlier versions of Card Export actually "broke" Activesync for me. It wasn't until very recently that I wanted to try it again, in hopes that they have fixed the bugs. Apparently they have and I now use it to "fix" Activesync when it doesn't want to connect.
So, the latest version is 3.14 and it supports WM 5 and 6 (although they incorrectly named it Windows Mobile 2005/2006).

Does the iPod work OK?

Does it appear in My Computer?
Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Compare with the iPod that does work/connect.
I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1

How to Solve Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Problems on your iOS Device?

Do you have any problem with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your iOS Device? Please read these steps carefully and follow it!
These Steps that I am sharing are TESTED by 10 iOS users what had problems with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or both and was successful
- Please note that Resetting/Factory Resetting/Hard Resetting or Recovering or un-jailbreaking your device will not work at all -
To Solve Wi-Fi Problems Follow these steps (But before doing anything please restart your iOS Device and see if you still have network problems):
Step 1 Go to Settings > General > Reset > Rest Network Settings and Reset your Network Settings and wait until your device re-boots
Step 2 Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and see if you can connect to your Wi-Fi If you can't then go to next step
Step 3 Go to Settings > Airplane Mode and turn on Airplane Mode and shut down your device. Go to your network provider and ask to restart the Modem or do it your self (Just unplug power cord and plug it back in) You have to wait 30 seconds.
Step 4 Boot your device and go to Settings > Airplane Mode and this time turn if off and go to Wi-Fi and see if you can connect it again. If you can't then go to next step - Note: If you are going on to Step 5 it means that your device is experiencing Critical System Error that cannot be fixed easily -
Step 5 Go your laptop/desktop and open your browser then type this on the webpage search bar 192.168.0.1 and click enter. If it doesn't work then go and ask your network provider for an address for your modem/internet settings.
Step 6 Change your modem/internet settings to no password and make it "available/visible for everyone" and go to your iOS device and got to Settings > Wi-Fi and see if it works this time. If it still doesn't work go to next step - Note: If you are going on to the next step it means you are experiencing Critical System Error that had been cause by glitch/bug -
Step 7 Connect your iOS Device to iTunes on your laptop/desktop and update your iOS version -Note: this process if basically re-installing your operating system- If you can't update if because the new update if not available you have to wait for next update unfortunately
Step 8 After updating your iOS Device Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and see if it connects to your Wi-Fi. It normally fixes the problem but if it still doesn't, it means your device is experiencing hardware problem. Visit your local Apple Retail Store or reseller and ask them for complimentary/device-exchange/warranty help or go to Apple website for online support: www.apple.com/support/ for better support.
To Solve Bluetooth Problem all you need to do is resetting (not factory resetting) your device and see if it works, if it doesn't you will need to update your iOS or Google for more technical troubleshooting because it could be your pairing device's problem.
