Uninstalled the Skype app and installed desktop version now wont log in just hangs with with circle going around.Has anyone got a fix for this need it for work..

I have to latest software update from apple for the iPhone 4. I had an app iTV that was available for update. Attempted to update via the iPhone App Store and I got an error saying the app is not available. But now the app is stuck on install and I can no longer connect to the app store via the phone.
I tried to reset the app store username, rest the phone a bizillion times, tried to sync via itunes, tried to delete app via itunes, tried to delete and install app via itunes, tried the trick of changing the language on the phone,
I am now lost except restoring the phone...which I really don't want to to...any help, suggestions, solutions??????????

Activated FileVault - Now wont log in

Yesterday I decided to activate FileVault in case of theft of my MacBook Pro. The encryption took an hour and once done, the computer shut down normally.
However today when I loaded up the computer, it will not finish the log in. It easily shows the log in screen, and I enter my password. However it then simply goes to a white screen, with the cursor top left as a beach ball. It stays like this until I gave to force shut down the computer.
Any ideas?

Skype for Windows Desktop should use Windows Desktop Scaling

Skype for Windows Desktop should use Windows Desktop Scaling. Right now, on Windows 8.1 with high DPI displays, Skype scales very badly. It is either very blurry with scaling turned on or is too small to see when scaling turned off. This negatively affects not just SMS and IM but also webcams. Since Skype is a Microsoft product it should follow the Microsoft guidelines for desktop scaling, even if it is not a Windows 8.1 specific application. There are a multitude of other applications, like Firefox and Internet Explorer, that work perfectly with desktop scaling. Skype should do this, too.

I see this thread is over a year old and still no fix for this issue. Just 'upgraded' from old Vista laptop to new hi res Asus N551 with Windows 8.1 and Skype Desktop looks crap! Blurry fonts and pictures, webcam image terrible. In short a disgrace. I hate the kiddies version on Windows 'Metro' style app by the way. So, looked up support and only solution suggested was to retore my custom desktop scaling option back to 100%. Obviously I am not doing that otherwise I would be unable to read the resultant microscopic text in Windows 8.1. So if anyone does have another, workable, solution I be pleased to hear it.After over a year though the Skype team really should make scaling for Skpe Deskto a No. 1 priority.

I turned on my laptop this evening to import a new cd but it asked me if i wanted to download the new version of itunes so i went ahead to update it but it failed to update then it failed to open at all, and and runtime error keeps popping up but when i uninstalled it to reinstall it it wont install now and i cant use my ipod or ipad with my laptop without itunes and i never had this problem at all. can you please help?

When I try to install Visual Studio Express 2013 with Update 4 for Windows Desktop, I

Solved. The ISO is corrupt.

Installed Windows 7 on my IMac, now I can't get Apple OS to work

Installed Windows 7 on my IMac, now I can't get Apple OS to work, I have tried booting with Snow Leopard disc in and nothing works. I had trouble from the start but now nothing works except Windows 7, sound wont work etc. etc.

I originally tried installing Widows 7 so I could run my Flight Simulator X on the IMac I got from my daughter and I used BootCamp and had partitioned it at about 4GB for windows and the first thing I got was I had to put a bootable disc in and neither the windows 7 or Snow Leopard would work. Then I got Windows 7 to work but I can't get Snow Leopard to run, when I put the disc in it says that it not supported. Of course windows wont show me anyother areas of the disc that I could try to get to, the other side of the partition I guess. I have tried holding the C key down on reboot and that doesn't work. I hope this gives you a little more insight as to what is going on. Thanks Bill

Blackberry Desktop wIll not install on Window 8

I cannot get BB Desktop (710_b033_multilanguage) to install on my new Windows 8 laptop: The zipped file unzippes itself; askes for the preferred language; Installshield Wizard starts to run. Then I get the below message in a box called "WIndows Installer". I click OK and the whole process has come to an end with nothing being installed and the winzip window slowly closing down.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure about Windows 8, but I can't get it to install on Windows 7 either. Well, that isn't true, it will install, it just won't ever run. When I start the application, it immediately goes into the unexpected error, Explorer is looking for a solution, then promptly shuts down.

Unfortunately your CS3 license is Windows only.
There is a platform transfer process available from Adobe but that only applies to CS6.

Problems installing Skype for Windows Desktop on my 8.2 system

My Windows 8.1 computer is telling me the Skype app has changed so I must uninstall and re-install Skype for Windows Desktop. I duly did this but I cannot access Skype, it won't accept my Skype name and password combination. Three times I have gone through the process to change my password, which takes me through the process of changing my Microsoft account password because I had to create one when I bought my computer and link absolutely everything to it. This still doesn't solve the issue and I have now reached the end of my tether with Windows 8.1. It's been nothing but trouble, completely non-user friendly and I am not a dim wit when it comes to technology. What must I do to be able to access Skype?
