Windows Extensions grayed out Photoshop CC 64 (NOT 2014)
I am trying to install On One Perfect Suite 9 panels. The extension is showing in the Extension Manager as installed, but Windows > Extensions is still grayed ...
I have tried the following to no avail:
Ensured sync is on in the CC App Manager and I have synced Photoshop CC 64.
All filters and extensions boxes are checked in Preferences > Plugins.
Photoshop has been closed and reopened multiple times.
I have tried advice from this forum specifically, the workspace change trick, and the GPU Advanced/Normal trick, and the Open CL trick - nothing
There is no OnOne folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\Extensions\onOne (which is correct per onOne tech support)
Using the Extension Manager I clicked ... File > Install Extension and browsed to C:\Program Files\onOne Software\Perfect Suite 9\Plug-in Files\Panels\onOne.zxp, highlighted onOne.zxp and clicked Open.
Yes, the graphics driver is current (well this is NVidia so current means I checked this morning - who knows about this exact moment)
I have not uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop because it is a royal pain to do so, and it should not be necessary.

A couple of reasons for not installing CC2014 yet, First my colleague was an early adopter and had a great deal of trouble with the installation, so I decided to be a bit of a laggard.
Mostly I am lazy. I am way behind on several photo projects, then my system was infected with this Powelik Trojan (how I don't know). On top of that I need to free up some disk space so I have room for both CC and CC2014. None of these are good excuses but I have been spending my time cleaning up the virus, releasing the occasional photo to my customers, and clearing up the disk space. Soon perhaps.
As far as onOne support is concerned I should have made that more clear and I will send an update. They responded within a day which I classify as pretty good support.
By the way, the old 8.5.1 (flash) panel worked well until the CC update that happened at the same time as the first CC2014 release. Was flash discontinued in the CC version as well as the CC2014 version? That was another reason to delay CC2014 - until onOne released version 9. I am still of the assumption that CC supports flash plug-ins but CC2014 supports only HTM5. Is this a correct assumption?

I had extensions, they worked. Now the folder is grayed out. However the extensions are in extension manager, they just don't seem to work.

Updated Magicpicker Download Photoshop Color Wheel / Photoshop CS5 CS3 CS4 Panel plugin by Anastasiy for picking colors / MagicPicker / The … software.
It worked well, but after I updated MagicPicker, I went to PS CC to use it, and noted that the extension folder was grayed out - Indicating no extensions were available.
I can see that the extensions are in the extension manager - but they just do not show up in PS anymore.
I tried downloading another extension, different plug in from Adobe - I installed it, and it too didn't work. I have tried uninstalling all Adobe software and re-installing, I have run the adobe cleaning tool, but still no extensions available. -
Since the last update I can't get to Adobe Exchange and other stuff under Window-Extensions tab as it is grayed-out for some reason. Any idea what's going on here?
It works properly in old ccChris, I obviously installed my extensions before I started the discussion. As you can see even Kuler which it says is compatible with cc2014 doesn't show there:
Could you kindly take me through installing Adobe Exchange, maybe I'm doing it wrong?
Also, when you say my flash based panels won't work in cc2014 what does this mean, I can't use those panels at all, or there is a new way of working with them?

Extensions grayed out in photoshop cc 2014
I am trying to manage extensions in Photoshop CC 2014, specifically to add the Rad Lab panel of actions, but the "extensions" tab under window is grayed out. Any advice?
I downloaded a different, newer extension for test purposes, and the extensions menu did indeed become active, but the panels I am interested in adding do not show up under Window > Extensions. ... So I guess those extensions need to be updated by their developers

Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut down. then hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears to start up.
You can also reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep button and home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears (takes about 10 seconds) - ignore the red slider.

In my contacts, I want to edit information. Some of this information is 'grayed out' and I am not able to delete it - any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks
For example: SusanX has quit her job and I still have her employment email address and phone number. All her other information is the same but I want to delete the information no long viable. When I go into edit mode the information is grayed out and is not deletable. I went to my iCloud and tried to delete it there, no luck.
I am thinking I might just have to delete the entire contact card and just start from scratch with only her current information. Seems like there should be a way to delete only parts of the information rather that resort to start a new contact card.

rest of the window is "grayed out".
Is there a possibility to show the background window in a normal way?Are you talking about the modal panels mask??
If yes then you can check in firebug the modal panel css rich-mpnl-mask-div contain background-color greay.
If you need you can customise it and set it to transparent. -

I installed the Kuler Panel PS CC 2014 and the menu access for extensions in PS is still greyed out [WINDOWS:EXTENSIONS] I also added Dodge and Burn ... nothing shows, juts the greyed out 'Extensions' menu option. I've waited, waited more, restarted and restarted again .. still nothing. I reinstalled the Extensions Manager .. still nothing. The Add-ons show in the Add-ons page as installed .. ie they have a remove option button .... this has been the case since 29th June. I tried everything afresh today, and nope, nothing. -
Extensions grayed out and can't access plug-ins
I've used the water mark plug-in before and it worked just fine but now when I go to window>extensions, the "extensions" are grayed out.
Macbook pro 17" with OS X 10.6.4.
Photoshop 12.01, mode RGB, 8-bit/channel.
Watermark 2.0.6. (2.0.5 didn't show up so I loaded the newer version before I noticed extension were grayed out)
The plug-ins are listed under "about plug-ins"
I use Font Agent Pro4.140 and installed the plug-in for Photoshop.
Extensions manager shows Watermar installed.
There is no Extensions Manager under "Help" in Photoshop.
I have no idea what to do to get to my plug-ins.It took me all day to fix this problem but right now the extensions are visible again.
Deleting Photoshop preferences didn't fix it.
Uninstalling Photoshop and then re-installing didn't work.
So I uninstalled the complete CS5 suite and hope that I got rid of everything before reinstalling the whole suite. I applied updates, installed plug-ins and it now works. What a pain. I am not very happy. I've never had to do this before and I would really like to know what turned the extension off so I don't have to go through this again. Now I am ready to personalize my short cut keys, etc.

Open in Camera raw grayed out for some tifs not others, bridge
I searched but could not find a solution. CSR. PC. Windows xp. In CS4 Bridge the option to open with Camera raw is grayed out in the file menu for some tifs and not others - It shows up grayed out on the file menu, but doesn't show at all when right clicking, even with the files where open with camera raw is not grayed out in the file menu. I have purged the cache, deleted all temp files, closed both bridge and photoshop and still I cannot open the tif in camera raw. It is grayed out. If I go to the pic I touched up yesterday the option is not grayed out. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Uh, this is a forum...not an email tech support organization...
As for your issue, it's simply not clear what you are doing or what issue you have. Can you not open the scanned images via Camera Raw from within Bridge? If you can then you will need to go through each image and adjust the ACR settings before you would be able to process them. Depending on how you set up your actions, Photoshop's Batch may or may not catch settings...that part is pretty complicated.
Also, I would question your use of JPEGs vs TIFFs. I would suggest scanning as 16 bit TIFF and running those through Camera Raw...you will be loosing a lot to scan into 8 bit JPEG and then re-running through Camera Raw. You really want to be sending ACR 16 bit images... -
PsCC2014 extensions grayed out in menu
I installed PsCC2014 and the new 2014 extensions manager. I said OK to use extensions and scripts etc. from PsCC.
Extension manager shows my extensions as installed OK. Scripts loaded OK and work. Extensions: none loaded and menu for selecting extensions is grayed out.
If I try to load the most current extension .zxp file, Extension Manager will try to load OK but says the extensions are already loaded and will replace all versions with the new extension (including the extensions in PsCC x32 and x64)....which may not be good?
So what is wrong and how do I fix it?
Was auto installing presets from CC a mistake...and should I re-install PsCC2014? and say no to presets and again reload Ext Mgr?

PS: PsCC and CS6 extensions, panels, and scripts all still working OK and I do not want to screw them up fixing PsCC2014.I downloaded a different, newer extension for test purposes, and the extensions menu did indeed become active, but the panels I am interested in adding do not show up under Window > Extensions. ... So I guess those extensions need to be updated by their developers

Items grayed out when they should not be
I have some apps where files that should be available for opening are instead grayed out when they shouldn't be. They never used to be grayed out until recently, and they are a correct file type. (Open is set to "All files" not just the file extension, so it's not an oversight).
Which part of the OS is responsible for choosing what items will be available in a file list (i.e. not grayed out)? I'd like to rebuild it since it seems to be corrupted. Also my LaunchServices seems to be messed up as well because some apps are not available for certain file types "Open With" when they ought to be. Terminal command? Disk Warrior? TinkerTool?
