Windows Live MSN on Nokia N80ie

Hello friends,
I have two very important doubts on the programming of Window Live MSN.
1- Is there any way to set up an Alert tone on EMail Incoming that someone receive?
2- Is it possible to set it up to autorecived the E Mails on the incoming inbox?

i believe we are talking about 6220 Classic right?
have you checked "Download"? have you tried to update "Download" as well, if it is not showing there?
the other things is if your 6220 is network locked, you might have some restrictions on the apps availability and usage, try to ask your service provider...
if certificate error is shown, try to check the "Application Manager" and see Settings and make sure "Software installation is set to ALL, and Online certificate is also "OFF"

here is a copy of the notice I posted on the Danish engineering magazine "Ingeniøren":
Microsoft has launched a new website, Tafiti.com, that delivers Windows Live Search in a Silverlight interface. Tafiti, swahili for “do research” or “to search”, is more of an expriment, showing the cool applications and UI that are possible with Silverlight, but it is fully functional, with Live Search, including web search, books search, blog search, news search, and image search. It appears that you have to uninstall the Silverlight 1.1 alpha and re-install the 1.0 Release Candidate to make it run (that’s not getting annoying).
You can drag searches over to the areas on the right side, then, share them with others or your other PCs (or Macs). Each search stacks on a card above the last one. Tafiti uses some pretty cool animation, only possible with Silverlight. There’s a really cool carousel that rotates among search types. The news search uses a very cool newspaper style view.
There’s also this cool tree view, that shows items from the search on a rotating tree. It’s good for a screensaver, and can be clicked to run full screen.
On10 has a video demo of the website.
Check out Tafiti, it’s pretty cool, and it goes to show you what Silverlight is capable of. Five guys built this, so the possibilities are more than there for small teams to do cool things.

Windows Live MSN??

is there a Windows Live MSN for Mac OSX that is equivalent or same as the Windows version?? I have just switched from a PC to a MAC and would really like to use something similar to what I was using?
I have tried searching on google and downloaded this one http://www.microsoft.com/mac/messenger
but its not as good as MSN Live that I was using with windows.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

The latest version of windows messenger 4 mac got video call and couple of other things. Before that it was so basic nobody was recommending it. So I was using Adium.Adium is a free instant messaging application for Mac OS X that can connect to AIM, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo, and more. It was really good replacement.Got new messenger now but still using Adium.

Windows Live (Msn) and Blackberry email delivery

When at home using WiFi on Blackberry and running Windows Live {msn} on my laptop- delivery of hotmail emails to my blackberry is stopped.
Then after i log out of msn, the delayed messages are delivered and subsequent email delivery is instant.
Is this normal?
If not how to resolve?

PETITION FOR WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER FOR NOKIA N97 ...

I and we have been waiting for the Windows Live Messenger to be released for Nokia 5800 and N97 for ages now. I cannot understand why has other Nokia models has it not those models apart from China which have it for Nokia 5800 and N97. What is going on Nokia? Not many of us like using 3rd party messengers If any of you agree with me please do post and hopefully they will wake up.

Problem running Windows Live Messenger on Nokia N9...

Recently I upgraded my FW to 21.0.016 and since than I can't run Windows Live Messenger "for security reasons".
Does anyone has an idea how to solve this?

Won't show what I'm listening on windows live msn messenger

As the title said. There is no plugin option I can opt for like in Windows Media Player.
The previous iTunes version works fine but ever since I updated to iTunes 8, it does not show on my personal message of what song I'm listening to.
Am I the only one? If not, can anybody help?

anyway I solved it myself. I uninstalled the current itunes then re-installed itunes 7 (lucky I still have the setup file). the from there like with my other computer, I used the 'Check for Updates' (under Help) and had to restart my computer from there, and now it works and shows up on what I'm listening to. Hope this helps

7Gb free will be in you mass memory (which is the 8Gb in the phone's name) - the phone memory, sometimes referred to as the C: drive, of this model is 140Mb which includes the space occupied by the OS so you don't have that much. The phone memory is where a potential memory shortage might occur, the mass memory is not used for active processes - only storage.
If there is definitely no issue with phone memory then it could be corrupt data. First shut down the MSN app, then again using File Manager, go to the IM folder on the C: drive (phone memory) and delete all of the files in there. Then try again (you will probably have to enter your account info again). If still having a problem after this, try removing the MSN app and reinstalling it.

Go to marketplace and log-in. This is your Microsoft account which is then linked to your email. At least this is my assumption. By the way for software/service related questions on a Nokia Lumia, I would ask Microsoft Community …
With Lumia, Nokia is the hardware partner. Plus several apps which Nokia added. These question belong here, of course.

Windows Live on Nokia N95

Does anyone know how to get hold of the windows live application for nokia 95. I know it exists because in the UK it is packaged with mobiles from 'Three'. However, I am not a Three customer.

I'm looking for this too. I had downloaded it and installed it from the downloads utility on the phone. It is still here on the support page http://www.nokia.co.uk/get-support-and-software/download-software/windows-live/how-to-download but when the catalog is updated there is no msn live. I lost mine when my phone was repaired.
Windows live now seem to give all the functionality through a web interface ( mobile.live.com ) but for some reason I cant log in. When ever i click in the password box i can type nothing in it. Also my existing live account is a live.co.uk address which isn't in the drop down list!

to see the cause of Windows 8 update failures, we must look for error messages in the following log files:
Please run the Windows Explorer and go to the folder "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\" and copy all files to your document folder, also copy the setupapi.dev.log from the folder C:\Windows\Inf, the "C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log" and the file "C:\Windows\winsxs\poqexec.log"
to your document folder (otherwise you can't upload it), zip all files into 1 ZIP and upload the zip to your SkyDrive [1] and post a link here.

Windows Live contacts (MSN messenger) dissapeared after skype update, Now affects all devices

Hi All, Updated to version 7.7 and suddenly all my windows live/msn contacts have disappeared.checked my other devices and the same has occured (another pc and mac) Have reset passwords.unlinked all my accounts skype + microsoft + facebook. still no job. i re-linked all my accounts
Changed my password for my Skype and microsoft account and made them match.
Logged back into Skype using my microsoft account
After 2 minutes my contacts started appearing and after a few more minutes they started going online.
The online filter in skype is still broken and not showing msn but if i go to messenger tab it all works.
I can live with that issue.

Hello, could some one help i downloaded the Windows live off The Nokia website via the web on my fone im using O2 prepay and when i try and log in it says "Sign-in Failure
We were unable to connect windows live service please cheak your access point and networking settings and try again" says that every time i log in and when i go to About it says "Windows live for Nokia S60 Version 1.0.8161" is there any where i can download the version for my phone? or do you have to be on the 3 tarrif and if so if i got my phone unlocked and then used a 3 Prepay sim card would that work? Thanks in advanced.

On the right there is the supported countries list... I am still waiting to see "Bulgaria" there...
Meanwhile you can try Fring, EQO or Palringo... All these have Windows MSN support, as well as ICQ, even Skype... Know that EQO is a Java application and gets closed not minimised when using the red-phone key...
