Windows Live on Nokia N95

Does anyone know how to get hold of the windows live application for nokia 95. I know it exists because in the UK it is packaged with mobiles from 'Three'. However, I am not a Three customer.
Anyone know?

EDIT: removed business web addressMessage Edited by damocles on 05-Jun-2007 11:42 AM

I'm looking for this too. I had downloaded it and installed it from the downloads utility on the phone. It is still here on the support page http://www.nokia.co.uk/get-support-and-software/download-software/windows-live/how-to-download  but when the catalog is updated there is no msn live. I lost mine when my phone was repaired.
Windows live now seem to give all the functionality through a web interface ( mobile.live.com ) but for some reason I cant log in. When ever i click in the password box i can type nothing in it. Also my existing live account is a live.co.uk address which isn't in the drop down list!
any suggestions

  • Windows LIVE on Nokia N80

    Hi,
Yesterday my Windows Live for Nokia S60 version 1.0.8161, stopped working. Also My MSN on windows 2000 Pro, stopped working, but after looking at :
    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms07-054.mspx
and update to build 820 it worked again, but the WinLIVE on N80 still will not logon.
I must say that I used it on work via a bluecoat proxy appliance, and connecting via an open hotspot it does actually work.
I think the proxy might be inforcing some of MS updateplans, and that this might not be a Nokia problem. Maybe it looka at some version and allows the new ones only.
So can we expect a new version of the winLIVE for N80 ?

    Hi,
I need to install windows live messenger on my Nokia E66!
    Can any one help please

I know this is an old thread, but couldn't help point out - the Windows Live Messenger on Nokia page (http://explore.live.com/messenger-mobile?form=MSRMCNA&publ=WLMSGHL&crea=TEXT_CIMS017584_Messenger_EN... currently shows a Nokia E66, even though Ovi Store says that E66 isn't supported by that app. :/

On the right there is the supported countries list... I am still waiting to see "Bulgaria" there...
Meanwhile you can try Fring, EQO or Palringo... All these have Windows MSN support, as well as ICQ, even Skype... Know that EQO is a Java application and gets closed not minimised when using the red-phone key...

  • Share Online 3.0/Windows Live Spaces

Okay so i'm pretty sure people by now have figured that updating to Share Online 3.0 breaks the posting on Windows Live Space which is bit of a **bleep**.
So besides sitting back and waiting for the next update of either Share Online 3.0 or a new update to Windows Live Services (which is highly unlikely), is there another way to fix this? I could very well use Vox or Shozu etc but thats not what I want, so if anyone has a way/idea to fix this then please post up.
I dont think either Windows Live nor Nokia Support can address this issue.

The access point issue you remarked here, can be solved provisionally using "Devicescape". Is a good solution (in Devicescape network, you can define the access points you use, and can share them, so that you just define "devicescape" as your access point).
Share Online and Lifeblog. I've tried these solutions, and don't fully understand why Nokia is using two different softwares for the same thing:
I'd like just one software for all stuff.
I've tried ShoZu (www.shozu.com) You can publish in lots of social networks and blogs. Today, they includes Ovi also. Is really good! but you still can`t publish directly to photo albums, you can use shozu to publish in live.com blog area instead of photo albums. But, you can use mail publishing option (inside shozu).

    Solved!

Well it depends on how many e-mails you have in your inbox and how fast your data connection is.
Generally mine synchronised within 5 minutes, but then I had about 10 e-mails in the inbox and I had full HSDPA coverage

For those of you who are interested in having MSN Messenger/Windows Live Messenger on your N95's, but haven't already installed it, it's now in the downloads application on the N95, as well as a program for Windows Live Spaces, but I've not looked at that yet.

  • Windows Live N95 Problem

Hello, I have an N95 on 02 in the UK. I updated my N95 software about a month ago.
I follow the instructions, and refresh/update the applications in the 'download' program on the N95.
No matter how many times I do this, the Windows live folder never shows.
Anyone else have this problem or any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

you do one thing, you do it directly from the www.hotmail.com website, where you can select and download the windows live for your phone

  • Nokia 5800 windows live messenger

many times i have tried 2 install windows live messenger in my nokia 5800 but it says expired certifiacte . where can i dwnload the messenger for free which works

I have a Nokia 5800, I got it in the first week that it was released in the UK. (Just in case it's a particular version.)
I have got the official Windows Live Messenger application, it installed without any problems whatsoever.
But, I have a really weird problem. This is what happens...
    I open the application.
It shows me the sign in screen.
I click the textbox and start to enter my email address... I get about half way through entering it then....
My phone instantly turns off and the screen fades away!
It isn't always the same place where I am editing text, but it's always in the sign in process.
I haven't a clue why this happens, it has never happened in any other application, but happens every time with Messenger?!?!
(Before anyone asks: Yes, my phone was charged.)

  • Nokia 5800 windows live for mobile

Right I'm trying to install windows live for mobile, and according to HERE, my phone should be compatible.  I have followed all the steps on the support pages, but can not find "windows Live" in my "download" folder.
    Any ideas???

    Oops, sorry for the typo
Just checked Skype Mobile, too, but it's also not on the list. Yoy may still want to try and download Fring - you may have luck.
Otherwise, the only officially supported Skype client for 5800 is IM+ which is not free:

  • Window live messenger for nokia

is it possible to download window live messenger on nokia?http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/nokia-microsoft-sign-windows-live/story.aspx?guid=%7B0BA646E0-...

There is a new version of windows live search for PC's, which uses a silverlight plugin, called
"tafiti". Is Nokia planning to support a mobile version of this browser on N-series or S60-series phones?
    frontiersci
    Denmark
here is a copy of the notice I posted on the Danish engineering magazine "Ingeniøren":
Microsoft has launched a new website, Tafiti.com, that delivers Windows Live Search in a Silverlight interface. Tafiti, swahili for “do research” or “to search”, is more of an expriment, showing the cool applications and UI that are possible with Silverlight, but it is fully functional, with Live Search, including web search, books search, blog search, news search, and image search. It appears that you have to uninstall the Silverlight 1.1 alpha and re-install the 1.0 Release Candidate to make it run (that’s not getting annoying).
You can drag searches over to the areas on the right side, then, share them with others or your other PCs (or Macs). Each search stacks on a card above the last one. Tafiti uses some pretty cool animation, only possible with Silverlight. There’s a really cool carousel that rotates among search types. The news search uses a very cool newspaper style view.
There’s also this cool tree view, that shows items from the search on a rotating tree. It’s good for a screensaver, and can be clicked to run full screen.
On10 has a video demo of the website.
Check out Tafiti, it’s pretty cool, and it goes to show you what Silverlight is capable of. Five guys built this, so the possibilities are more than there for small teams to do cool things.
