Windows Live Skydrive can't see photos in album, show as blank

Windows Live\Hotmail and even Firefox, allows me to upload photos to Skydrive albums, but only see a grayed out thumbnail with photo name, but no pictures using Firefox.

See:
* [[Images or animations do not show]]
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load
It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
See [[Options window - Content panel]]
*A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (<i>Site Identification</i> icon) on the left side of the location bar.
*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Open the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Page Info" window.
*Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
*You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
*You can see all image exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions

  • Can't see photos just image names and blank boxes

I have my iPhoto library on an external drive since it holds over 37,000 photos and while in it the cord was pulled out of the port. When I plugged it back in and reloaded iPhoto it shows that there is 37,000+ photos and 600+ events but the thumbnails don't show and if you double click on the blank box where it should be it pops up an exclamation point instead of the image.
Is there any way to fix this??? Stressing big time since I haven't backed up my library since July.

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Try these in order - from best option on down...
    1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
    2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

  • Can't see photos in Album

Since last year, the Album wont show any photo.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I suggest that you clear data for the Album application. This can be done via Settings > Apps > The tab "All" > Album > Clear data.
If there still are no photos in your Album, you can clear data for Media storage. This one can also be found via ettings > Apps > The tab "All" > Media Storage > Clear data. After you have cleared data for Media Storage, your media files needs to reload. This will be done automatically and if you have a lot of media files it can take a longer time. I suggest that you restart your unit to speed up this process.

  • IOS 7, when I plug my phone to my desktop, window xp, I can only see the photos that I took this morning, over 2000 photos in my phone can not be seen right now, can anyone help?

I have just update my iPhone 5 to iOS 7, everythings gone smooth, however, when I plug my phone to my desktop, window xp, I can only see the photos that I took this morning, over 2000 photos in my phone can not be seen right now, can anyone help?

Try to connect in recovery mode to restore, without using the latest backup, explained here:

It's not possible to check the photography box to see it on my PC. How can I see photos on PC?

Ah, you had Photoshop 7.0 working, and now it's not.  I see that as a separate issue to updating it.  I'm not sure why it would ask you to update it.
Do you know whether you have 7.0 or 7.0.1 at this point?  You might be able to do a Properties function on Photoshp.exe and see that info.
You could make an attempt to reset Photoshop's preferences to defaults.  Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt simultaneously immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set.  If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.
Only other thing that comes to mind is to use Windows System Restore to restore back to a restore point where Photoshop was working, or restore from a backup (you do make backups I hope).
If that fails, and you need to do a fresh install but no longer have the original disk and serial number I'm afraid you may be out of luck.  There's no place I know of from which to download a fresh full copy of Photoshop 7.0.

  • In Windows 8, how can I see an image of the psd file instead of the Photoshop icon?

In Windows 8, how can I see an image of the psd file instead of the Photoshop icon?

There are a number of third party solutions for this.  I just use Bridge, so can't recommend one in particular.

  • Iphoto photoshop brousing -can only see photos in iphoto albums not in pict

Why can I only see photos in albums and not in the general area of iphoto? In the finder it seems like there are no photos in the folders.
This started with my new camera a Canon A610 my older photos are there in any type of search. What can I do to make the Canon pictures show up in library. I am worried that the pictures are not there on my back up harddrive.

Be very careful when you're poking around with finder. Don't tamper unless you enjoy bleeding ulcers.

  • Can I add photo stream albums to SkyDrive

Can I add photo stream albums to my SkyDrive albums?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photos in the camera roll are those which (in most cases) are taken on the device, the photostream album contains photos which have been synced from photostream in the cloud, which can include photos from your camera roll as well as from other devices using photostream. Photostream photos can be lower resolution than the same photos in the camera roll.
Photos in photostream can be edited and saved to other albums.

  • Can't see photos taken on iPhone on my iPad

I have done the setup for iCloud using the settings screens on my iPhone and iPad but can't see photos taken on one device on the other. What am I missing?

Check Settings>iCloud to be sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account with photo stream enabled.  Also, only photos taken after enabling photo stream are uploaded, not earlier photos.  They are uploaded when the camera is closed, you are connected to wifi, and your device has at least 20% battery life remaining.

    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.

Why can I see photos in photo view, but not in event view. The event shows up, but when I open the event, it says there are no photos in the event. The only way I can actually open a photo in the event is to be in photo view, and open the photo from that view.
