Windows loads and restarts loads and restarts!!!
recently I had a problem where I could not increase the partition size on my boot camp disc. I had to re format my entire hard drive and reinstall osx and then boot camp.
When I installed bootcamp everything worked fine well I thought. under boot camp... windows loads up. and within a few seconds of it finished loading, it automatically restarts and does it over and over again. I can't stop this from happening.
FYI... it did this one time and I reloaded windows and the same thing happened again!
Please help!

Hi! I had read about your problem before I installed so I was waiting for it! I have just installed a licensed full OEM version of Windows XP with SP3 included on the single disc. Sure enough it started reloading everything as you noted. Rather than stop it I waited until it asked me where I wanted to install it and I chose my previously formatted 60 GB NTFS partition. It then told me there was something already installed on that. I had the open of reinstalling or quitting. I chose Quit and restarted the computer. Seems all OK. I have since connected to the internet and mail and have "Activated" Windows. I guess you have sorted this out by now but if not hope it helps! (Please note I have not downloaded Bootcamp 2.1!!

I loaded actions into my PSE 10, then when I restarted my PC (windows 7) and PSE 10 I got a Runtime Error (Microsoft Visual C Runtime Library)
Are these actions you put into the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Photo Creations\photo effects folder?
If so, did you delete both the
ThumbDatabase.db3 in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0
and
MediaDatabase.db3 in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Locale\en_us
after installing the actions?
Then let the pse 10 editor run for about 10 to 20 minutes to rebuild the effects database. -
Okay so first things first this isn't the newest macbook pro. When I open about my mac and go to system report it says it is a Macbook Pro 3,1 and the Boot Rom Version say MBP31.0070.B07. Originally when starting up Boot Camp Assistant there where only two options, the "create windows 7 bootable usb" was not there at all. So after some editing and helpful tutorials I was able to get the option show up and created a bootable usb with windows 7 and downloaded the support software onto a separate flash drive. Finally I did the last step and created a second partition for windows. Once the process is complete my computer automatically restarts.
This is where the problem is. Once my computer makes the booting up sound it doesn't load up windows it gets stuck on a apple logo as if it's trying to reastart normally and can't. So I shut down and this time I hold down the option key during start up. It brings up the main partition and some recovery thing but no windows partiton and no bootable usb.
I forgot to mention that I am running OS X 10.9.3. Okay any body want to help me out? Iv'e been at this for hours and can't get an inch closer to having windows. Please and thank you!
P.S. If I missed a discussion that answer my question just point me to it. Iv'e been looking for a while, but who knows i might have missed one.The only known way to make it work on an external drive is by first installing Windows onto an internal drive, then cloning the install to an external Thunderbolt drive. Thunderbolt is seen as an extension of the internal bus, so Windows doesn't see it as an external device.

Airport utilities does not recognise windows 7 and will not load, how do I fix this?
Airport utiltiy will not load, it does not recognise windows 7 and I get an effor message telling me that it requires XP or vista etc.
I have deleted and reloaded Airport Utilities, Bonjour and Itunes to no effect. Help!well...i go only to the site "Test it here: http://java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml". After this i was able to go to a site with the title "Java Downloads for All Operating Systems" and here you download your JRE for your OS. For XP or Win 7 it was a java 6 update 29-b11. The file to install is named '''jxpiinstall.exe'''. After install an restart you go again to [http://java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml testvm.xml] and see that the java plugin works fine.... (see the screenshot)...

For the bugcheck information, please see:
Bug Check 0xC000021A: STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED
The result shows that The Winlogon process terminated unexpectedly.
The cause is explained as below:
This error occurs when a user-mode subsystem, such as WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem (CSRSS), has been fatally compromised and security can no longer be guaranteed. In response, the operating system switches to kernel mode. Microsoft Windows
cannot run without WinLogon or CSRSS. Therefore, this is one of the few cases where the failure of a user-mode service can shut down the system.
Mismatched system files can also cause this error. This can occur if you have restored your hard disk from a backup. Some backup programs might skip restoring system files that they determine are in use.
To resolve this issue, you may take a try with the following command:
Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Reference:

store corruption in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012
Or you may take a PC refresh.

I am using windows 7 and can't get the print drives to load for F2210 printer
I am using windows 7 and can't get the print drives to load for F2210 printer and I keep receiving different fatal error codes.
Hello @Imvertical
Welcome to the forums!
I read about how you're attempting to install your Deskjet F2210 on your Windows 7 system and receive Fatal Error codes. I will do my best to help and make some suggestions for you to try.
To being, try a standard copy from the unit to see if it will copy. If copies work, continue troubleshooting. If not, let me know what happened when you made a copy.
Next:
Perform a Level 3 uninstall.
There are 2 ways you can run the uninstall:
From Original installation CD:
1. Insert CD into drive, and then cancel the installer
2. Click Start and open 'Computer', and then right click on the CD drive and open
3. Open folder Util
4. Open folder CCC
5. If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a non-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
6. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
7. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools
8. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
9. Download the full feature software and drivers: HP Deskjet F2200/F2224 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver
10. Run the download to reinstall the printer
If software was downloaded and extracted to your system:
1. Click Start and type %temp% in the run field
2. Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356) (If there is more than one, choose the most recent folder)
3. Open folder Util
4. Open folder CCC
5. If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a non-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
6. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
7. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools
8. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
9. Download the full feature software and drivers: HP Deskjet F2200/F2224 All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Driver
10. Run the download to reinstall the printer
Please let me know if the installation worked after the Level 3 uninstall.
Good luck and have a nice Wednesday!

I uninstalled Norton 360 under windows xp and now I'm getting this problem that firefox will no longer load pages. IE and Outlook still work and I can access the internet with them, I can ping any website I like successfully but Firefox won't load any pages ... N

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 4.0; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)I found a fix for this, not only firefox but several other networking programs were broken as well (Outlook and IE were ok for some reason) so I reasoned that the Norton uninstall was incomplete somehow - I had done it from the add/remove programs in the control panel. Sure enough that's not enough to release Norton's tentacles in your system, there's an uninstall tool on their website (a whole set of them actually) that managed to carve it out completely and after a restart everything was back to normal. My machines will definitely be Norton-free from now on ... N

Updated Bios on Equium L350 now keeps restarting at windows load up screen?
Hello guys here's my problem:
Ive got a Equium l350 psld2e and i had some problems with windows so i reinstalled xp..
After i finished installing xp i was a few drivers short.. such as ethernet controller.. video controller and a couple more..
Anyways whilst looking for these downloads on toshibas website i downloaded a bios update (Big mistake).. Then the computer automatically restarted after downloading and updating the Bios..
So after the restart it loads up the toshiba welcome screen as normal.. then the windows screen then bam a quick flash of a blue screen then the computer restarts and repeats this process!
What is the solution? Need your help.
ThanksHi
It seems that the notebook is starting fine but the Windows OS cannot boot properly.
In your case I recommend booting again and to access the BIOS.
Here you should set it to default settings and should save the changes.
Furthermore you should boot from Windows CD and should try to reinstall the OS again.
If this will not help then I assume that something went wrong during the BIOS update and the BIOS should be reflashed again.
Unfortunately the BIOS can be reflashed again only by an ASP because the ASP could use a BIOS traditional version which allows you to update if using external USB FDD drive. -

On 6u13, new plug-in fails to load on Windows 2003 and IE7
I'm attempting to load an applet in IE7 with an OBJECT tag in Windows 2003. This is a mature product that has, for this release, moved from 5 to 6. The CLSID was changed from the CAFEEFAC one for any version of 5 to the one for any version of 6. Java 5 version worked fine on Windows 2003. Now, on some, but not all, of our 2003 systems the ActiveX control for the new Java Plug-in fails to load.
These configurations work:
- Windows XP and any Java and any IE
- Windows 2003 and Java5 and any IE
- Windows 2003 and Java6, old plug-in, and any IE
- Windows 2003 and Java6 and APPLET tag and any IE
This one doesn't...on some machines:
- Windows 2003 and Java6, new plug-in, IE7, OBJECT tag
This is not a security problem. If I turn off the new style plug-in in the control panel, it works. However, I'd really like to avoid doing this, as the new plug-in has much needed features. Also, the APPLET tag works where the OBJECT tag doesn't. I can implement this change if needed, but it would be fairly painful and I'd prefer to avoid it.
Does anyone know why this might be happening? Is there a good way for me to diagnose this? The browser is quite silent as to what the error might be.
I appreciate any help. This one is truly vexing me!Okay, I'm wrong...I thought I could move to APPLET tags...I cannot. LiveConnect from JavaScript to Java does not support APPLET tags, only OBJECT tags. This makes my problem worse, as I don't have any recourse so far, except to disable the new plugin.
However, this did lead to a clue: disabling the new plugin caused it to work again. When the new plugin was re-enabled to see it fail again, much to my surprise, it worked! Does anyone know what flipping that option actually does? Registry change or something else? -
This morning I had a popup on my Windows XP PC stating that the 4.0.1 update was available. I upgraded. now, i receive the following error: We're sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed. We will try to open your tabs/windows when Firefox restarts. You can submit crash report data, blah blah blah (which i have submitted several)
But, firefox DOES NOT ever open. It just pops back up with that same report window, over and over.It is possible that there is a problem with the files [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
* Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).
See:

I use windows Xp and FF 6.0 does not load quickly...it takes 5-8...sometimes 15 minuets before it loads.
Here 5.0 if that is what you want.
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/5.0/win32/en-US/
But I don't what 5 is going to do for you if your having trouble with 6.
Did you try reading threw [[Basic Troubleshooting]], you should try to see what your issue are rather than go backwards. -
I have tried to open firefox multipul times only to receive the error message:
We're Sorry
Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.
To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send us a crash report.
When I send the report and try to restart firefox and see that I have several tabs open, but it quickly shuts down again before I can do anything other then glance at it.http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_crashes

do not know what's going on but the Firefox crashing, and is still crashing, and crashing back again ..
This problem is not resolved for a long time 'and I wonder why not fix this problem so far?
These details.
We're Sorry
Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.
To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send us a crash report.I was having the same problem.... But I keep forgetting that when you upgrade firefox... or it updates automatically... you need to right click on the firefox start up icon, go into properties, click on the compatibilities tab, and put a check in the "Run This Program As An Administrator" box, then hit apply. Start Firefox, and it should work OK. Problem is...each time you upgrade firefox and/or I think Adobe flash... you need to make sure that box is checked. This is on Firefox 15.0.1 with Adobe Flash 11.4.402.278 all up to date, Windows 7 64bit. If Firefox has Adobe flash add-on, it needs to run in admin mode or it will crash.

I have a desk top which has Windows Vista. On this computer I have been running Itunes for a long time. My new computer is a Lap top and it runs Windows 7.
I recently loaded Itune on the new computer. I attemted to use Easy Transfer to transfer my Music but was unable to connected the two computers so I transferred my music to a external hard drive and loaded the music on the new computer. I have the folders and files carefully and they appear to match. When I try to run Itunes on the new computer I am unable to access the new music. Itune always goes to the sample music. The only difference I can come up with is Windows Vista and Windows 7. Does anyone have any suggestions?Hi,
Are you trying to use the Help -> Updates method?
Both those patches need to be manually applied to PSE 9.
