Windows Media Video Export - Dosn't Render entire video

Every time I try to render a video in wmv in IMOVIE, it only renders about half of the video, how do I make it render the whole thing.
sombody please help.

Are you using Flip4Mac?
If so, you need to purchase the entire package-not just the trial version.
Trial version only allows you to export about 30 seconds...

  • Help! I can no longer choose Adobe Media Encoder when trying to Render a Video.

When I try to Render a Video, only the JPG option is available, but I need to render a Quicktime.
Most likely related is a new error I receive when launching Photoshop CS6 Extended: "Could not complete your request because of a program error." This dialog box has an OK button. Once i click this, it opens no problem. Had been ignoring this until today when I couldn't render my video.
I have not changed anything with Photoshop so not sure why this is happening now, when it didn't use to before.
    Please help!

Sorry, of course you would need that. I'm running Windows 7 Professional and have Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended for 64-bit. PS version number is 13.0.1 x64.
    What else would be needed?

  • Windows media won't play mp4, audio no video

I upgraded from a desktop to the HP TouchSmart 15 TS Notebook PC so that I would have all the functionality
of a new operating system that would work. Guess I was mistaken?!?!?! I have the same problem I had with my old crappy desk-top, MP4 videos still don't play on Windows 8.1???? I get audio but no video????? just a black screen?????

According to Microsoft support website, Windows Media Player still won't support MP4 files. Though we can make WMP play MP4 video by install some codec, sometime we still encounter can't play MP4 in Windows Media Player issue. MP4 is a container format which may contain multiple video and audio streams. And the video and audio stream can be encoded any of several ways. If the MP4 video or audio codec is not WMP installed codec supported one, Windows Media Player won't play MP4 video of this kind. In order to solve "Windows Media Player won't play MP4 files even when the appropriate codec is installed" and to successfully play any MP4 video in Windows Media Player, we had better convert MP4 to Windows Media Player more supported video format like WMV, AVI. • No option to export flv in render to video

    Hello,
We have two computers one running CS3 extended and one running CS4 extended  and both on win XP pro. The CS3 machine has the flv export as an option but the CS4 machine does not. Both have flash and quicktime installed also. In searching the forums I found a post with this same tittle but it was on a mac. The solution was to find a file called flv.component. I searched the drive on the CS3 machine but it did not find a file with that name. Thanks for any suggestions.
    Jeffrey

Well, there's no *.component files on PC. Quicktime extensions carry the file extension *.qtx on PC. The file in question should be in the QT install directory C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTComponents or your C:\Windows\System32 folder.

  • Window media player export

I wish export to my webpage designer a movie and have supplied .wmv files in past from imovie but, now wish to provide a high quality video from FCP.
Not sure what to select and have tried some exports but, the video was not of great quality.
    Help!

I just installed Flip for Mac and it seems to work very well.
I've seen a few posts here that had people stumped about it's use so a little reminder...
You have to pay for it to get full functionality. If you use the free download you only get the first minute of your project converted.

  • Every time i upload music to my video its goes around my entire video how to i separate them ?

There is no option to split track when i right click

I did the same when I started. you just need to be careful when you drag the music track to your video. If it goes purple it will cover the whole video - just hold the pointer under the movie/photo you wish to start the track on. If it goes whole purple move the pointer to another spot. keep practicing. It becomes obvious. honest!

  • .avi video clip audio not working in premiere pro but play is windows media player

    Hi all,
Using .avi video files. They play fine in windows media player. In premiere pro, the video plays fine, but there is no audio. When moved to a sequence, it builds an audio track, but it is silent. Any help is appreciated.

AVI is a wrapper, what is inside YOUR wrapper - Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?

  • I use to be able to click on a link in a website to watch a video and it would launch windows media player. I have installed the plugin but it still will not launch

Windows Media player will not launch from a video link within a website. it worked until I installed FF4. I did install the plug in but still nothing it just goes to a black then blank page when you try to launch the video.
    Ideas?

At this point I think you should get Applejack...
    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15667/applejack
After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
    applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
    Correct any Disk problems.
    Repair Permissions.
    Clear out Cache Files.
    Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
    Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Then... Try putting these numbers in Network>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
    Then Apply. For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.
DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
These Servers have been patched to guard against DNS poisoning, and are faster/more reliable than most ISP's DNS Servers.
The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
    10.5.x/10.6.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.

  • PE11 has more limited video export formats that PE7?

I upgraded to PE11 but now I find I have fewer video export options. For example, for YouTube I used to export as Windows Media (WMF) at 720p/25, and I had full control over many settings. Now, I find if I choose Windows Media I have a very limited choice of options and the resolution is limited to 720x480. If I choose AVCHD at 720p I get big MP4 files that look terrible. Likewise, HD 720p/25 gives a large and not great-looking MPG file, while HD 720p/25 High Quality confusingly gives a smaller-sized (but equally inadequate) MPG file. Again, Quicktime export offers me only a few options, none of which is 720p, where in PE7 I could choose from a much larger set of presets and change all the parameters. If I choose 'export Flash video for YouTube'  I get only a few options, none of which is 720p.
Am I just missing how to do this, or does PE11 really have many fewer options for exporting video than PE7?

In version 7, you had 2 export routes, File Menu/Export/Movie and Share/ with choices for Disc, Online, Personal Computer, Mobile Phones and Players, and Tape.
In version 11, you do not have the File Menu/Export/Movie route, but you do have Publish+Share (the new generation) Share with a vast selection of export choices. I will not go over them, but for now will address only two of your points in your post.
    1. As for QuickTime. Make sure that you have the latest version of QuickTime. QuickTime installation on the computer with Premiere Elements is required to see the QuickTime choices. Assuming that you have done that, then set an appropriate choice for Presets in the export dialog and then go under the Advanced Button/Video Tab, Audio Tab, and, if applicable other of the preset to take control of your video and audio settings.
    2. SG has already suggested to you a choice for a file to be uploaded to YouTube at the YouTube web site that should give you best results.
    3. But, as an example, here is how you get your old "Windows Media 720p25" export from Premiere Elements 11 Windows.
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    Windows Media
    Presets = 720 x 576 16x9 25
then under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of that preset, set as follows
You have full control over those settings. The bottom which is not visible in the screenshot shows "Average Video Bitrate = 1500 kbps (aka Kbps and representing kilobits per second).
    Please review.
    Thanks.

  • Invalid Frame Size Error - Windows Media

I'm getting this "Preset Error - Invalid Frame size!" whenever I try to render my comp using any of the Windows Media presets. I got this error two days ago using my custom Windows Media preset (which I always use). I tried everything I found to solve this problem with no success...
I hope any of you can help me out with this.
    Thanks for reading!

I've got same worning message and struggled to make it work.
It seems "windows media" encorder only accept certen ratio for video output.
I used following for resolution on composition setting
    1679 x 1049 --> gets error
Now I changed it to following, then no error message.
    1680 x 1080 ---> works fine
(Select composition then go to "Composition>Composition Settings", go to "Basic" tab, cahnge "Width" and "Height")
    Some addioanl info.

  • Problems with Windows Media Player for Mac's

Is it safe to download and opperate Windows media player for Mac's to view video on the web ?
Anybody has experience with it ? What are possible problems that may be encountered ? Thanks for any input or feedback.

"Is it safe to download and opperate Windows media player"
    Sure, why not?
You should know that's it's discontinued, and no longer developed by Microsoft, and therefore will never be native to Intel Macs. You should look to the free Flip4Mac QuickTime plugin from flip4mac.com

  • Windows Media Player on Safari 3.0.4 on Vista

When I try to access Windows Media player on a site that has video clips in that format using Safari under Vista, I get a message saying that "Windows Media Player could not be found". Of course, the player works under IE7.
Any suggestions on how to make Safari recognize WMP?

Surprisingly, Windows Media Player doesn't seem to offer a plug-in for Firefox (which I believe is the same plug-in architecture used by Safari).
Some enterprising developers have created this though:

    Give that a try.

  • Re: Satellite P - Windows Media Center issue

Without any visible virus problems or bug threats Windows Media Center starts to crack out in video release.
Simply random loosing pixels on a screen, and all other similar programs such as wmp, vlc media player, mv2 and Intervideo Win DVD working correctly?

I don't know what notebook model do you have exactly and what is wrong there but if you want to have well working Media Centre install OS using delivered recovery media.
After doing this it will work properly.
Maybe you have installed some codecs or some third part application that can have negative influence on WMC functionality. To be honest your posting doesnt offer some relevant info to this issue and it is not possible to say for sure what is wrong there.

  • How to play MOV files inside Windows Media Center Edition

I've installed QT Pro, but am not able to play MOV files inside Windows Media Center Edition (MCE). Under "My Videos" from the MCE main interface, I can see the files, but once selected, error message indicates unknown/unplayable file type.
How do I get my MOV files to play inside Windows MCE??

I don't use MSI's MC application so I can't directly answer your question.
However both Win DVD 6 and PowerDVD6 play them just fine by launching the ts.ifo file.
Yes, I know that, but that means that I should use at least two applications. I need only one front end to launch all my media files, inluding ripped DVD files, not as separate VOBs but as whole movies decribed in IFO files.
