Windows Parallel for my .exe files

I have .exe files on a CD that I need to run. I have downloaded the Windows Parallels and it's up and running. I have tried several ways, but I can't even begin to find the files I need to run from Windows Parallel...I have my disc in, but it is saying I need to insert a disc. I tried copying the files on the desktop but I can't see my desktop from my Windows Parralel screen. Please help.

It sounds to me like you have not actually installed Windows XP. Parallels is just a program that allows you to run one operating system (Windows) within another (OS X). You will need to actually install Windows within Parallels (or using Apple's free BootCamp)... and then you can install all of your Windows programs within Windows.

That file might have moved to a different location on the server. I think you'll need to check with RefWorks support or your local IT department on why the install page links do not work.

How to create java files into windows applications i,e. exe files

I been trying to convert my java files to exe files, but i have been reading a lot of webpages speaking of writing a code in c++ source code,
any easier way to do it.

Add your java compiler to the windows path.

then enter

And your program will work.I believe the OP is rather about creating a windows executable out of his application (jar).
@OP If there is an easier way to do this, i must have missed it. Haven't searched thoroughly though. Gave it up as it looked complicated enough.

several years ago Mark and I shared a cube wall. (actually, several cube walls over the years) He developed 1 example of a splash screen that has been available for use to hide the loading window. I haven't looked too deep in it for several years but It worked!

I actually have the splash screen vi's that you are talking about and that is what I based mine on. It is nice to have that code to see how others would do it. So thanks Mark for the push in the right direction on this.
OK- so another method that we tossed about. was to place a simple vi AS main with a FP that "Looked" like a splash screen. use THAT vi to dynamically load and run the real main vi for the application with a vi server ref (wait for completion F auto dispose T) and then close itself after a delay. We debated that the method was "cheesy" and required a dynamic call to the real top level VI so it was easy to botch the build spec. but we did try it and it hid the Loading screen effectively

Windows parameter for saplogon.exe

I have to create many different customized saplogon clients,
but I cant find a way to set the sapmsg.ini and saproute.ini files when executing.

I couldnt find the name of sapmsg.ini and saproute.ini. It doesnt works without the right msg and route files.
maybe anybody can help me.

sapmsg.ini and saproute.ini are always in the %windir%. You don't need different inis for that, as you simply store ALL data into these inis and then you can make use of the different saplogon.ini files.

Execute OR pop up for an exe file to down load

i had a hyper link in my jsp page and when i click that link , it should check for wether an exe is installed in my sytem or not, if that one is installed in my system , it has to start executing.
If at all that exe is not present, then a window should be populated such that it should ask for download from server and installed on to my system and start executing.

Your browser/OS decides what to do with any content you download. The best thing to do is make sure your server (by way of your JSP or otherwise) returns the correct mime-type and if possible filename+extension to the browser so it can make an informed decision.

Right-click on the exe file and choose Properties.

Windows can't open this file : ***.exe.

How to locate .exe file in pc harddisk programatically using labview same as search option in Windows.

I want locate a file which is a third party exe file.
For this purpose i should know programatically how many drives are present on the PC Hard Disk.
I made a VI to fetch the information about how many drives or partitions are present on the harddisk.
I am able to find that information and are able to locate each & every folder available on each drive.
But i am not able to that function in LabvIEW which can solve my problem and search for that .exe file for its existance on the PC disk.
THe idea is same as the search files and folders option in windows.
Can anybody help me in this problem.

That depends on your OS and the version of Reader that you have installed... Also, it's possible the path was changed during the installation process.
By default, Reader XI on Windows 7 is installed under:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader
And the main executable file is called AcroRd32.exe .

Second, from Forte no way as far I know. However there is lot of better or worse and rather expensive programs on I net that could do it.
Use Google with Java to exe, java native ... it should give some insight to You.
I would rather recomend to use *.bat files - if you can use Windows.
It is worth of notice that java-exe COULD be slower than JVM. And one more thing. exe files are longer than packed class files.
So if you are new I do not recomend you idea. There are sometimes need for java-exe files, but that are rather specifical cases....
If you are still interested, try visual cofee, visual age, or GJC.
