Windows Printer Sharing: How To Change Login Info?

Odd issue here, basically I want to share a printer between my Mac and my PC; I've done it before and know the process. This time, I logged in with an account that didn't have rights to the printer, so I want to be able to change the Windows login information that the printer is using to look for the printer. I've closed the settings window and restarted and it simply will not prompt me again for any new login information, nor do I see a button for this.
I also looked to see if there was an entry in Keychain Access that may contain what is troubling me, but it's not there.

I have the same problem, i think we need a tiger update 104.9 to come around..
i dont know the work around but here are some security solving note for vista, by taking down some security so that the mac is happy..

I too added 2nd apple ID when I tried to get Free app from apple store just to get to NONE on the credit card needed. It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account. On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account. If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to. It did not send to back up email account either.
Can I log into 2 email accounts on my ipad where it says mail at bottom?
Can I have 2 apple ids?
If I created a 2nd apple id to get to NONE on credit card needed, can't I log into it also on another laptop in gmail?

If I used my original apple id I created when I got my new ipad, it will not let me get free app without credit card, there is no where it says NONE needed. I am too new to apple to start with credit cards etc until I get use to it.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

Anybody knows how to change this developer info here?
I can't find any place in flash pro to change this, nor in itunes connect. Is it in the certificate, and how can I change it?

Unfortunately, when you signed up and went through that step you were told that the name you pick is permanent. You could create a new developer account, and sell under a new name.

Using suggestions from this forum and ifelix, I configured my network so that all three computers (x2 Macs and x1 windows laptop PC) were 'seen' via finder. I can share files and print etc between the two macs fine, but despite setting up a new user account on the laptop PC that matched the mac shortname etc as suggested, I am unable to connect from the Mac's to the laptop.
I can see (via finder:go:connect to server)the windows laptop domain name, in this case,TIMESCO and the laptop itself (Graham-Laptop) and the ip address which is 10.0.1.3.
(ABS is 10.0.1.1 and the two Macs are .2 and .4 respectively)
The user account set up is per my mac shortname and despite then typing in smb://10.0.1.3/<useraccountname> I get the error code -36?
Any suggestions would be helpful

Yes, I had firewall on (on the two Macs) except for file sharing, windows sharing and print sharing.
I had/have an anti virus and spysweep on the PC but windows firewall is off.
As we speak I have turned the firewall off on the the Macs and checked it was turned off on the PC and disabled the spyware and anti-virus and tried again.
I get a dialogue box entitled <SMB/CIFS Filesystem authentication> asking for Workgroup/Domain<TIMESCO>; Username<grahamdodds> and Password.
I am still getting the error -36?

We are fellow users here on these public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email addresses from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to update your rescue email address for potential future use

I cannot make any purchases on my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1.1) because my credit card changed (bank replaced it due to theft) and my iPhone is telling me, "PayPal is not supported on this device." Apple support says you can change payment info on your iPhone through Settings > Store > AppleID. I tried. I just keep getting the same "Your PayPal account cannot be verified" message over and over.
My PC croaked a couple of weeks ago and I've been unable to access a computer with iTunes. Is there any possible way to change my payment info without being on my long-lost PC? The AppleID site doesn't let you change payment info, only your basic info and password. This is really frustrating.

Your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

HP Photo Printing Software - How to change predefined sizes in "Design To Page size:" window?

I have a HP Photosmart printer, which came with a photo print application, "HP Photo Printing Software", Version 3.9.0.0. When I try to change the page size of the photo output using the "Design to Page Size:" screen, I see a list of predefined page sizes (e.g., "4x6 w/tab"). However, these predefined sizes (there are 11) can't be changed from within the program. For example, if I want to print a 4x6 photo with no border, which is a frequent requirement, there seems to be no way to do it.
How do I change or override these predefined print sizes in this program? BTW - I have Windows XP on my PC.

You may want to try HP's new photo-printing program, HP Photo Creations. It's a free download at www.hp.com/go/hppc.
To print photos at a predefined size, select the Print-at-Home tab (2), then Prints & Posters (3), then the Prints project (4). Then design your print and select your desired size on the printing screen (7).

Mac/Windows Printer Sharing

I have an HP officejet d135 attached to my windows XP home computer.
Both my Mac Mini and Windows is going through a router. Both machines can see each other on the network and I can share files.
The problem is that I cant seem to get Mac to print properly. It sees the printer when I try to do it through samba and when I hit print the printer fires up but all I get is junk out of it.
I have tried the help pages and cant seem to work it out.
I am a noob swithcher so my knowledge base on Mac is limited.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how to cure this.

I am facing a similar problem... my father uses WinXP at home, with a HP Deskjet 3920 attached to it. I convinced my mother to buy a G4 iBook, and now she's all happy about it. I just set up a wireless internet connection at their home, and I am trying to use dad's printer from mom's iBook. The printer is being shared just fine, and I guess my problem is driver related as well.
Printer type is set as PS as default, and I believe this printer isn't PS-capable: print job gets into XP's queue, but printer refuses to print it. However, if I try to set its type to the right printer model, my printer simply doesn't appear on the options of HP printers. I then went to HP's drivers site and apparently they do have a driver for this model: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=44544 2&lang=en&os=219
I downloaded and installed both the HP Inkjet Driver and the web installers for Deskjet printers; installations seemed to go by just fine, but still the Deskjet 3920 doesn't appear on the list of available HP printers. Any ideas? I am probably missing something, but I can't figure out what it is...
On a related issue: since they did me no good, how do I uninstall these drivers? (I am a seasoned Linux user, but I am still finding my way around on Macs; so, please bear with my newbie questions =))

Printer sharing on bonjour changes margins

I have an HP Photosmart C4180 printer attached to my imac, and have been trying to print from two windows pcs wirelessly, using bonjour. The printer is recognized fine and I can print, but the margins appear to change so that the text is moved to the right hand side of the page and/or headers and footers are cut off. The results are the same from both computers, yet when printing the same documents from the mac they come out fine. Any solutions?

Add me to the list of people having similar problems since 10.5.6. except I can't print at all unless hooked up via USB.

Apple Preview print dialog defaults to "2-sided" printing. How to change?

Using a Lexmark Pro905 printer via wi-fi. The old iMac (10.4) prints normally but on the new iMac (10.6.6) preview defaults to printing 2 sided, which causes my printer to jam 70% of the time. I can find no way to turn off 2-sided by default. Any ideas?
I can make a new "Preset" with 2 sided turned off but preview doesn't default to the new preset anyway so it's the same effort to have to select the other preset as it is to de-check the "2-sided" check box. Looking to simplify this for my mother who is not so computer savvy.

In general, you can change the defaults for a printer by going to http://localhost:631/printers/ and choosing the printer, and then choosing to set the defaults. I am mystified why this would happen only with Preview, or does it happen with other applications?

Nvidia firewall and home networking and printer-sharing: how do you enable it?

Hey guys, finally my system is running at 100% after re-formating WinXP3 times which is probly one of the most painful experience i ever had.
I installed the nvidia firewall and it runs great but the problem is that when i enable it, all the other computers cannot see this MSI computer's shared folder and network printers because I think the firewall blocked it all.
I tried to change the secuirity setting to low and even added the IP address of all the other 3 computers to the firewall config w/o avail.
can anyone of you here enlighten me?
