I have windows ME. can i use a ipd mini with this? i can't download the cd on my computer.

Officially, the iPod mini is only compatible with Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows XP. Windows Me cannot be used.
If you do want to try, though, there are some ways. See my previous post: James Bond 007, "connecting to Windows ME" #2, 07:09pm Jul 30, 2005 CDT
You are better off upgrading to Windows XP or getting a new computer running Windows XP (or a new Mac such as Mac mini), though.

What happens in an application deployment if I uncheck "Commit changes at deadline or during a maintenance window (requires restarts)"? If I have an application deployed to a collection with a maintenance window with a scheduled to be available
now with an installation deadline of one week, what would happed? What about if the application was deployed to a collection that did not have a maintenance window and there were no maintenance windows defined in any other collection the member clients
were in?

This is for Embdedded devices, like ThinClients.
That means write filter commits either at deadline or during a maintenance window.
Your application still installs as you schedule it, available now and install week from now. If you have maintenance window and selected to not install or reboot outside of maintenance window, then everything happens within maintenance window. If you don't
check that box for write filter, then your app or setting you have just pushed does not get saved when device is rebooted.
Same scenario with no maintenance windows. If you don't have maintenance window then your app downloads and installs as you schedule the dates. Write filter would not commit these changes and everything would go away after reboot.

How to achieve New Window requirement from One Web Template?

Hi Experts,
I've a WebTemplate contains 2 Graphs. Each graph have one Zoom Button. My requirement is, When I click the Zoom button that corresponding Grpah should display in a New Window. I've finished all the above requirements.
Since, I have One Mandatory field, I'm always getting the Variable Screen in a New Window while I clik the Zoom Button.
I need to avoid this "Rerun" feature in New Window.
Kindly suggest me how to achieve this..

Even I'm also trying for the same scenario only.
Actually I have 2 Web Templates.
In First Template I have 2 Charts and 2 Zoom buttons for each.
While I running the 1 Template, i give an Value in the Variable screen of First Web Template.
If I click a Zoom button of 1st Chart, It should open a New window with the Second Web Template. And Second Web Template should automatically take a First Template's Variable screen Values.
(Since, U have an Mandatory field in Second Template u were not faced this requirment.)
Even I tried with "TRANSFER_STATE". It is not taking the First Variable Screen's input values.
Kindly help me in this issue.

Is there a min PC Windows requirement for ITunes Match?

Apart from having the latest version of iTunes downloaded on a PC is there a minimum WIndows software requirement?
I'm planning on importing Audio CDs onto my iTunes account using my office PC and then setting up iTunes Match to get the Library to all my personal OS devices.
I have a MacBook Air and therefore need to use the office PC to import.

HT4528 When trying to install free apps, I get a window requiring verification updates before purchasing. I am requested to submit certain credit information. What's up with this? They are FREE apps?

I have recently attempted to install free apps. Every time I try I get a message requesting verification for credit purchases, and a need to update my info. Why would this even come up for a free app? If this was a Windows phone I would immediately think I had been hacked!

The iTunes account requires that payment information be set up and verified before using it.

Windows requirements for SAP ECC6 EhP7

Hi experts,
we want to install SAP ECC6 EhP7 on Windows Server (2008 or above). I've already checked on the PAM its feasability, with Kernel 7.40. The DB would be Oracle 11.2.0.4.
I've found that for hardware that: 4 CPU ~2GHz each with 10 Gb Memory and 500 Gb Disk is the minimum (tell me if I'm wrong), but now I'm more interested in the software part.
So I'm trying to find info about windows package (language and else) necessary for SAP ECC6.0 EhP7 installation. I tried to find notes about it but in vain...
Could you give me some tips ?

A pop-up window requiring a response does not close after being responded to.

A club membership database uses pop-up windows to request preferences for displaying information on the database. The window should close after the preference is saved. This closing occurs with Internet Explorer, but not with Firefox. The requested information cannot be retrieved unless the pop-up closes.

Force Quit .
Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.
When Force Quit window appears, select Safari, if not already.
Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window. Wait.
Application will quit.
If this does not help, press the power button for 7 or more seconds.
Computer will shut down.
Restart.
Hold the shift key down and launch Safari.
Best.

Closing a QT7 window requires multiple clicks, help!!

When I simply want to close a QT video window by clicking on the "X", it is unresponsive. Then I click it again and a small window appears, says,
"Do you want to save changes made in the document? Your changes will be lost if you do not change them".
Then the choices are,
"Don't save, Cancel, or Save".
This problem forces me to make a minimum of 3 clicks to simply close the QT7 window. How do I get rid of this nagging problem that was non-existent in previous QT versions? It doesn't matter if I just downloaded a video or if I'm viewing one already saved, the problem still happens. I cannot find any settings to change that would get rid of this problem. Help!

Well here you go... It effectively does the same thing as Tony mentioned earlier just by a slightly different means.
There are a couple of options I have added below...
This first one actually redirects the calling page prior to closing the popup. I do this because I have a creation process (2 steps) associated with some locations that are managed with this app.

The first 2 are in fact in separate plsql processes with conditional processing based on the button clicked. All of these code blocks could easily have been built into 1 plsql page process and executed based on :REQUEST or something similar set by the CREATE/SAVE/DELETE/CANCEL buttons... There are many ways to approach this with none (well most anyway) not being wrong - Just personal style/preference.
I hope this and Tony's suggestion can give you a good solution to run with.

64 bit Windows required?

Hi, I just purchased a new MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz 17" about a week ago. I've been trying unsuccessfully to install Windows XP with SP2. I have done this before on an older Intel iMac without any issue. I'm starting to wonder if I need to use a 64-bit version of Windows on this computer, or will a normal 32-bit version still work? Thanks.

A regular FULL version of Windows XPSP2 or Vista 32Bit should work on your computer.

Mighty mouse: installing it in windows requires a "passkey"

i just bought a mighty mouse and it works fine in os x 10.5.7. trying to install it in windows on the same mac, i am asked to enter the passkey for the mouse. you can get far by choosing the option "no passkey", but to complete the installation they ask for it again. what might this passkey be? tried searching the mouse packaging, and also tried entering the number on the mouse without success. tried all the standard 1111s and 00000s etc. help!

Windows requiring activation on Cloud Services

With recent deployments of our cloud service I noticed that after a few days Windows displays an alert for activating it from Action Center (visible when connecting through RDP). This in itself is strange, but it gets worse: when I try to activate it it
says that activation can't be carried out, see this screen shot:
The event log is not very helpful, the relevant entry there says "The client has sent an activation request to the key management service machine.

Secondly, If it doesn't work, I suggest you contact azure support ASAP, it may be the best choice for you.

Files Window Requires Manual Collapsing On MAc

I am used Dreamweaver CS5 (11.0) on a Mac.
When I change many files, I use the "Select Most Recently Modified" and the files listing in the files window expands out and highlights all of the modified files. I upload those files with a single click of the upload-arrow and all is good!
The issue is that the files view window now has 100 directories expanded out so finding something in that list is a long and tedious process.
The only solution I have found is to manually go through each open directory and click the down-arrow and collapse that specific directory. After 50 or so clicks my nerves get frazzled and eyes begin to hurt.... lol!
Is there some command that I am missing to COLLAPSE the listing of files/directories back to normal??

Option click should close them all at once for you. I also look at the files in order of last modified... Putting the newest ones at the top.

I have been attempting to download the VisualStudio Express 2013 program but the setup is being blocked and giving the message "This version of VisualStudio requires a computer with a newer version of Windows."
My computer has Windows 7 Home Premium with ServicePack1 and 64-bit Operating System. The supported systems shows that Windows 7 SP1 is supported but I am still getting this error message. I need this program for a class I am taking at school. My professor
has offered little help so now I turn to any of you for help.
Please let me know if there is an issue with this, a possible work around, or if I need to download one of the older programs. I look forward to a quick response! Thank you for your time.

Which version of Visual stuio express 2013 do you install. Express 2013 for Web, Express 2013 for Windows or express 2013 for Windows Desktop? As far as I know, Express 2013 for Web and express
2013 for Windows Desktop can install in Windows 7 SP1 (x86 and x64) operation system. But Express 2013 for Windows requires Windows 8.1 (x86 and x64) operating system.
