Windows setup failed to open distribution share d:\ds when trying to run the windows embedded standard 7 image builder wizard
The wizard fails with: windows setup failed to open distribution share d:\ds (..etc)
I am running it from a USB disk that has over 4GB free space, all the other files and folders are shown in the DS folder ok
Please advise what i should do here?
Does the drive need to be a certain format? its FAT32 at the moment (not NTFS, so no security)
I have tried copying the contents of the wes7-ibw iso to another USB drive and the same thing happens.
I solved it : setup failed to open distribution share d:\ds ... error 0x8007000 /0x8007003
the cause I assume there is something strange about the CD file format on that disk.
I first created a bootable usb (diskpart) then as i didnt had software to do it all in once
i converted the original CD to iso, and used other software to burn an ISO as bootable CD on usb.
( i used iso to usb for that its free )
i ve tried it with the usb as fat32 and (using convert converted fat32 to NTFS (stayed bootable).
I even tried different hard disks no difference same error.
Each time same error.
Then in the end i noticed the folder content of the DS folder on USB and CD wasn't equally.
So then i copied directories one by one over their existing USB counterparts
After that it worked...
Maybe the CD isnt folowing some CDrom standards, or uses a rarely used format; not wel recognized by common CDrom tools

i have recently installed the ni 4552 for pci dynamic signal analyser, and am attempting to configure my system and teach myself labview. when attempting to run the daq solution wizard i am presented with the daq hardware configuration required window.

DAQ_Hardware_Configuration_Required.ppt 38 KBhi brian, thanks for your help. i have recently received version 6.1, and done a complete re-install. i have also downloaded the latest ni daq (6.9.2) and ni dsa (6.11) versions and installed them, but still i get the same error message when trying to open the solutions wizard (please see attached powerpoint presentation).
upon selecting the "go to ni daq config utility" option MAX opens. everything appears to be in order (device passes test, test panels run ok and virtual channels are configured correctly). i am unable to go any further.
i would appreciate any guidance that you are able to give me in this matter. many thanks in advance of your help.

When I right click on a hot link, then click, open in a new window, a window will not open. Alternatively, I can click, open in a new tab, and a new tab will open. Additionally, if I'm at a website with a chat feature, the chat window will not open, or, as another example, if I'm at gmail, and I click "details", the window that opens giving the summary of when your account has been opened and the IP addresses it's been accessed from, will not open.
I have on the computer, Aurora too. I doubt that it's a source of the problem, but I had to throw that into the mix. For clarification, this problem is happening while using the Firefox browser.You can middle-click a link to open the link in a new tab.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

When trying to exit the window, it minimizes instead.
Hello everyone
Recently I've had an issue where i try to go up and close a window by clicking the red button
as i do so, the yellow button actually does the "pushed in" thing as if I clicked the yellow button instead of the red one.
So it minimizes and i have to go back down to the dock, maximize it, and then go back again and click the red button for it to close.
I know many prefer to just command+q but sometimes for apps like iTunes and iChat, I would just like to close the window so I have more room (13.3 inches doesn't support too many windows, but I love my MacBook)
So doe anyone know if I there is a setting I can change or something I can do so when I want to exit out of a window, it actually exits, and not minimizes.
Thank yoU!On occasion something along these lines happen with me as well, but I am not sure if it is the same thing you are experiencing as I have realized my problem is not a software issue but a mistake on my part. In any application when you double click in the title bar the window will minimize. The problem is that the area where this is available reaches from the left-most part ot the title bar to the right-most, including the area of the buttons. Every once in a while when I wish to close a window, i will simply miss the 'close' button and instead press the area in between the red and yellow buttons, therefor justifing the first click of the pair. And because the 'close' button lies withen the reigon of the title bar, when I attempt to again close the window, I create the second click and miimize the window. I looked again and noticed that when minimizing via the title bar, the yellow button goes into it's 'pushed' state as you described. And I think the reason this is a more common mistake in Safari is because I have noticed the buttons in the Safari toolbar are much closer to the top of the window than any other application I have looked at. Hope this helps you or anyone else who is making this mistake.
BTW, in the course of testing out my theory, I have accedentaly closed my Safari window mid-post twice, and have had to start over from scratch... TWICE ><<br>

Internal Error Message when trying to download the windows OS for Palm.
Whenever I try to either upload from a disk or download from the Palm website, the OS for palm I get a message that says "Internal Error 2738" and it won't let the software load. I am stuck and can't do anything. Please help. Thanks.

Quiktime Pro crashing when trying to run updates - windows XP PRO
I have previously purchased QuickTime PRO & MPEG2 and now every time the QUICKTIME update wants to run . . . it crashes the update, causing QuickTime to crash.
And if it is done through the webbrowser it will also crash FireFox & IExplorer 7.
It happens every time I visit a web page and requires the new update to take effect and since quicktime update runs in auto it causes the crashing of any browser.
The "culprit" error has to do with QuickTime.cpl (Shell32.dll and Control_Run.DLL)
Does anyone run into this problem and if so, have you found a solution?
The update is from QT 7.4 to 7.4.1 (the latest one).

I've googled for them and I've read that the 0x80070002 may be related to updates, but nothing particular about the other.
Could anyone please tell me what can be happening?

http://www.filedropper.com/setupactIt's strange, because I can install that package, and all the other custom ones without error if updates, security updates and hotfixes are not included. It must be one of those packages which is causing the install to fail. I tried to install updates manually
once I deployed the image but after the updates some of my custom applications didn't work well.
All of this just happening on the intel board, not the amd one. -
Cannot send email. When I click Write the window does not open properly. Does not have the "send, spelling, attach, security, save line there. Then when I click File, then Send now it will not send. A message comes up saying my SMTP server failed. Have check and everything appears to be o.k.

Open Acrobat. Use the click-path Edit - Preferences - select the Category "Email Accounts". In the dialog there is the "Add Account" drop-down. Select "Add Other". The "Add Webmail Account" dialog presents. You'll fill out the dialog's fields with Outlook.com settings. (don't forget the "Advance Settings" button)
From a look-see on the web it appears that the following are the needed settings. BUT, you'll be wanting to validate.
The Outlook.com SMTP server settings for sending outgoing messages from an email program on desktop, cell phone or mobile device are:
• Outlook.com SMTP server address: smtp.live.com
• Outlook.com SMTP user name: Your full Outlook.com email address (not an alias)
• Outlook.com SMTP password': Your Outlook.com password

Why do I keep getting "Connection failed: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME" when trying to print on Windows networked printer over wi-fi?
If I run the following (on the machine I'm trying to set up the share)
smbclient -L localhost -U%
I got the following output
Connection to localhost failed (Error NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED)
so I thought it might be something incorrect with the iptables side of things, however I haven't really touched that at all and it seems to look correct
iptables -nvL

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT 0 packets, 0 bytes)

About once a month I receive the Software update notice that has failed. How do I find out who/what is trying to update? If I decided I want this update how do I allow it to continue? If I decided I do not want this update how do I stop it and its attempt to update? The only response allowed is "OK". When OK is selected the window goes away and nothing else happens.

Yes your cabinet 10 on the Crediton exchange has already been installed and linked with a FTTC DSLAM cabinet (making it able to provide FTTC fibre broadband) and has been Accepting FTTC orders since December 2013. PCP10 (with it's DSLAM cabinet within 100meters of it) is locate on the junction of Commercial Road and the A3072.
However by the looks of things your are just too far away to obtain a FTTC (VDSL2) connection, meaning FTTC fibre broadband is not available to you.

Your best bet is to talk to Connecting Devon and Somerset to see if there are any further plans to get a fibre based service to your area via https://www.connectingdevonandsomerset.co.uk/contact-us/ (as your area may not be inscope of any further deployment). Best give them your full address and landline number too as they can check if you are within a NGA area.
