  • Getting Server Error Code: -2147024891 when using Biztalk Windows SharePoint Services Adapter to upload a document

    We are currently running
    1. BizTalk Server 2013 R2
    2. SharePoint 2013
both in a Windows 2012 Server environment, in Azure.   The BizTalk and SharePoint are running on separate machines.
I am using the Windows SharePoint Adapter to upload a Tif file to a SharePoint document library.  However, when the host instance is running under my team member's userid, I get the following error in the eventlog:

This userid has already been added to the following groups on the BizTalk Server:

    SSO Administrators
    BizTalk Isolated Host Users
    BizTalk Application Users
I have also made sure the userid has full control access to the SharePoint site and the document library within the site.   I have confirmed that the user with this userid is able to access the SharePoint site and can upload documents to the
document library, manually.   However,  when the host instance is running under this userid, I am not able to upload documents to the SharePoint document library.
The Windows SharePoint Services Adapter is configured with the following values:

    Microsoft Office Integration:  No
Do you know what the cause for this error is?   We urgently need a resolution for this?

If you create an XML document and upload it to the Windows SharePoint Services Web site. The Windows SharePoint Services adapter will take that message, archive it in the Archive document library, and then send it to the Destination document library. This
procedure demonstrates how a document flows from a Sharepoint web site, through BizTalk Server, and to a Sharepoint Services Web site using the Windows Sharepoint Services adapter.
This MSDN library article shows the procedure, please check whether it will be helpful to troubleshoot.

  • Dashboard Reporting through Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SP2

Do we need to install Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 on SCCM Server 2007SP2 for dashboard reporting purpose?( We already have a Sharepoint
server  2010 ), can there be a connection between SCCM and Share Point Server?
And, Is it safe to install Windows
    SharePoint Services 3.0 SP2 on SCCM server 2007 .
Is there any other better way than this for Dashboard Reporting?

Yes, I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
It is unclear to me what you are referring, Are you talking about the old CM07 Dashboard product or creating custom dashboard yourself?

  • Web Services Connector for JMX available

We are glad to announce that the Reference Implementation of our Web-Services Connector for JMX Agents, being defined by JSR 262, is available in Early Access on http://ws-jmx-connector.dev.java.net/. This major milestone is aligned with the second Early Draft Review of the Specification in the Java Community Process.
The WS-Connector for JMX is based on the WS-Management protocol, defined by the DMTF. Its greatest benefit is to provide interoperability between a variety of client applications compliant with this standard, including those not based on the Java platform, and any JMX-based instrumentation.
This week, at JavaOne, we will demonstrate examples of this interoperability on stage during the technical session "TS 2656 - JMX Technology: Who's Doing What". We will show in particular how Windows Vista's management tools can use the JVM telemetry instrumentation. Join Eamonn McManus and Jean-Francois Denise, or watch their blogs, for more details on this.
We encourage you to use and provide feedback on the WS-Connector RI early access, which is fully functional and, we believe, already pretty stable.
Note that our implementation of the WS-Management protocol is based on the Wiseman open source project, which lives at http://wiseman.dev.java.net/.

  • Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services

This is my first post to an Adobe user forum, so forgive me if I am posting to the wrong forum, but my question relates to LiveCycle Designer ES forms.
Is anyone familiar with LiveCycle forms on Windows SharePoint Services? Instead of purchasing LiveCycle Server(?), I hope to use our SharePoint Services and wonder whether anyone here could share their experiences with SharePoint - good or bad.
    Thank you.

    Hi Iakov
    Kyle is correct.
Basically, you can host simple PDF forms anywhere - on a web server, portal, document management system, custom web application, etc.
You only need LiveCycle server if you want to:
    - prepopulate the form with some data before presenting it to the end user
    - extract data out of the form when the end user hits the submit button
    - manipulate the form in other ways, on the server, for example, verifying or applying a digital signature, extracting attachments, etc.
Kyle, can you contact me at htreisman-at-avoka.com to discuss your sharepoint plans...?
    Thanks,
    Howard

I have SharePoint Server and also just downloaded the Suse Linux with Adobe Livecycle ES 2, I wonder if they can be combined together.
    Thanks.

  • Share outlook addressbooks via windows sharepoint services

    hello,
I'm shopping around for a server that can integrate to active directory (on win2k3), does email, does samba (for user home drives), and has shared contacts, etc for outlook 2003.
There is a server already running on the network with active directory. I came across a possible way to resolve the lack of a shared addressbook in the mac server.
If you have all winxp and officeXP workstations and a win2k3 server, the win2k3 server can run windows sharepoint services at no additional cost. The sharepoint services is basically a portal made to run on modern windows servers.
One of the things sharepoint can do is share contact/address books to outlook 2003. This looks like a very nice feature of the win2k3 servers.
My question is, has anyone done this? Does it really work or is this vaporware from microsoft?
If this works, I think I've got my shared addressbook problem solved.
    Thanks,
    Oskar

You can create OD entries for conatcts and share those to Mac & PC clients.
    Would that help?
Or maybe take a look at AddressOMatic

  • Copy windows sharepoint services list items into another sharepoint server list

My requirement I have one windows SharePoint services 2007 site list. one SharePoint server 2013 site. 1.I have to copy data from windows SharePoint services 2007 site list to SharePoint server 2013 site list. 2.when ever data changes in windows SharePoint
services 2007 site list  data has to reflect into SharePoint server 2013 site list.
Could u pls help on this

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to copy data in SharePoint 2007 list to SharePoint 2013 list and the data in SharePoint 2013 list changes with the data in SharePoint 2007 list.
You could use JavaScript client object model to retrieve SharePoint 2007 list items and copy them to other SharePoint 2013 list.
An official documentation about how to retrieve list items:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/hh185007(v=office.14).aspx
A similar post about how to retrieve and copy list items:

And you could use SharePoint event receive to monitor the list items.
A post about how to use SharePoint event receive:

  • OAM and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

    Hi,
I have a client that uses OAM/WSSO and wants to use it with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. The OAM integration guide has info on integrating with SharePoint Server 2007, but does not address integration with Windows SharePoint Sevices alone. Is this a supported integration path?

  • Not able to start the service 'Windows SharePoint Services Adminisration' in the server hosting SharePoint 2007 farm

While upgrading my SharePoint 2007 farm to June 2013 CU , I saw the service ‘Windows SharePoint Services Adminisration’ was not starting. This is throwing error on every attempt of service start.

While further investigation with Microsoft, the below approach was suggested :
Back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
Locate and then select the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
Right-click Control, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
In the New Value box, type ServicesPipeTimeout, and then press Enter.
Right-click ServicesPipeTimeout, and then click Modify.
Click Decimal, type the number of milliseconds that you want to wait until the service times out, and then click OK.  In my case put it as 60000
    (60 secs)
Exit Registry Editor and then restart the computer.
The above steps resolved my issue and the service was successfully started.
