Windows stops working popup

I had bitberry software-freefileviewer downloaded for some time,I uninstalled it to reinstall and insure I had latest version.Now,every time I click on nest to reinstall I get popup windows stopped working.What will fix this? thank you

Acrobat 8 Pro keeps giving me a "...has stopped working" popup, but....

it's still running and working fine. And even when it's not running, nor have I used it in a while, out of nowhere I'll get a popup saying "Adobe Acrobat 8 has stopped working". Intersting. How can it stop working if it isn't running? And when it's open and I get the popup, why doesn't it shut down? Very odd and mostly annoying. I'm running Vista Home Premium and Acrobat 8 Pro is a legal paid-for version and I hadn't had this problem until maybe a couple months ago. But then with some so-called MS updates, I've had several oddities crop up in other programs.
In a nutshell, here's what's happening:
(1) "Adobe Acrobat 8 has stopped working" popups appear when the program isn't even open nor has been used for a while.
(2) When the program is open and I get the popup (always and several times during a session), the program continues to run with no problem.
(3) When I click "Close Program" in the popup, the popup disappears but Acrobat continues to run just fine.
(4) No problem closing Acrobat 8 using the standard "X" in top right corner. Other than the very annoying popups, it seems to work fine.
(5) I've been using Acrobat 8 Pro for about a year with absolutely no issues until this began about two months ago.
BTW, I did a dearch and found a couple related topics but no one reporting the same issue I'm experiencing.

Tried your suggestion and still getting the popups. Also did a program repair via control panel. I've tried about everything now with no change. I'm sure it has something to do with one or more Windows update(s) since it all of a sudden began after updates a couple months ago but it'd be very difficult to pinpoint which one(s). I only use this program in the work I do for a local magazine to send page proofs to our proofer. The owner purchased it, so maybe I can talk him into buying an update. Hey, it's a write-off !

Blue screen, Windows stopped working, BC code 50

I did a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit, on my vista laptop.
I have had two blue screens in the past week, stating windows stopped working here are the details:

Can you help me with where the source of the problem is?

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.
We prefer at least 2 DMP files to spot trends and confirm the cause.

Windows stopped working after 1 month

Windows stopped working. Nothing opens up. I can not go into settings. The apps do not open up. The system restore does not work. It will not allow me to to reset to factory reset. This is horrible. I can go into the desktop screen and Internet thankfully. Only had it for one month. I miss my old Toshiba laptop.

Chances are good it's a routing breakdown at this point, if her work hosts the VPN Concentrator within the same datacenter or address space as their website. They could also be on the same machine for all that matters.
Likely, if you run a traceroute from FiOS to the datacenter, and back you'll see where the connectivity may be dying at.

Firefox can't open any Microsoft link - get "windows stopped working error"

When I try to open a Microsoft Word or xls file (not Powerpoint), I get the useless Microsoft popup: "Microsoft X has stop working. Windows is looking for a solution....". This just started the other day and I haven't made any changes to my computer. I don't know if this an Office or Firefox issue. It happens on multiple website/programs in Firefox.

Command ~ (tilde) to switch windows stops working

Well, actually I guess it is command-` since you don't press shift.
My problem is this command key short cut stopped working. Mac OS 10.4.11 onAlu iMac with 4gb ram. It had been working, but now I noticed it stopped working.
It never worked on my G4 tower but did work on my wifes iBook. It didn't work in my buddies tower but does work on my dads iMac G5.
What the heck? How does a command key shortcut stop working. I get a audible bonk alert when I try to do command-` to switch windows. It used to work.
Any ideas?

Have you checked your keybindings? +(System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts)+ Is there a checkmark next to "Move focus to next window in active application"? Maybe your modifier keys have been altered? +(System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard > Modifier Keys...)+

Preview window stops working when skimming

I have a top end MacBook Air (i7 / 4Gb) and find iMovie 11 works very well on it.
However, recently I've been having problems with the preview window. I can be editing for some time when the preview window will just display the last frame that I played and stops displaying what I'm skimming with the cursor. If I start the playback again the preview window will work but once I stop it will not show the skim. If I quit iMovie and restart it, it all works fine for a while but eventually starts misbehaving again. I'm editing dozens of short clips into a 5 minute movie and working full HD resolution.
Has anyone else experienced this? Curiously I found a couple of archived threads from 2008/2009 (presumably with older versions of iMovie) which mentioned similar behaviour but no solutions.

Interestingly, having a minimized app makes no difference - the Alt key stops working when the last visible window is dismissed.
I've not reinstalled Gnome yet, but will give that a try.

Error 0x00000133 windows stopped working

This error message keeps cropping up on a daily basis. The laptop mousepad will stop working then will shut down and restart and this error message is displayed saying the laptop has rebooted due to a bugcheck error. I have ran SFC but this found
nothing. How do I find what is making this error happen and how to fix it?
I have tried looking at the memory dump file but this doesn't give me any more info other that the error code.
Please help.

However as you said sometimes we may not able to find useful information from it.
Is there any specific change on your system before the issue occurs? Such as new device installed, driver update, new application etc.
In addition, as it will take some time for such an crash issue, it is more recommended to contact Microsoft online support. Also a quick workaround is to run a system restore or a system repair if there is no much data on your system.

A couple of things, first you don't indicate how you have Vista loaded ie. are you using Boot Camp, Fusion, Parallels etc... next you should post the correct forum. If you are using Boot Camp then click Apple Support Communities (upper left of this screen) and then navigate to the Boot Camp forum. If you are using Fusion, Parallels etc.. then you will need to navigate your way to their forum. This is an iMac forum not a forum for MS Windows.

Copy-n-Paste into Prompt window stopped working

Per subject titles, we have a javascript that used to work in CS4 with copy-n-pasting enable but only recently did we noticed copy-n-pasting doesnt work anymore in CS5-CS6. The script itself still runs fine but without the ability to copy-n-paste text into the prompt window does slow us down a bit. Does anyone know the cause and solution?

When did javascript to Resize windows stopped working?

I just upgraded from Fx3.6.8 to Fx16.0.2, and now my javascript bookmarklets are not working. There doesn't appear to be any way to resize a window quickly by clicking a bookmark containing a javascript function, such as:
javascript:(function(){window.moveTo(22,33);window.resizeTo(560,(screen.availHeight-35));})();
I've noticed the same problem in Fx22 on a different computer. So apparently, even with javascript enabled, these functions don't work from the URL line.
Is there any way to resize a window, other than by manually dragging a corner?

The page doesn't print properly. And I believe javascript, as you suggest, doesn't work anymore within an html-page. My web server creates a form the recipient is supposed to print, and it doesn't print properly. I'm not doing the printing, the recipient is doing it, and they're NOT very computer literate.

ICloud for Windows stopped working with recent update

I had been using iCloud for Windows (Windows 7 64 bit) version 4.0.3.56. I received a notification that there was an update and so I accepted the update (by mistake). It updated to version 4.0.5.20. As soon as the update ran, and I tried to use the icloud Control Panel to set up the syncing of my mail and contacts I ran into trouble. I received the dreaded "Your setup couldn't be started because of an unexpected error."
I tried to restore my pc to a previous restore point, but, that didn't work. So, I completely deleted the icloud software, rebooted, and downloaded the new version and reinstalled it. That didn't work either. Now, I am completely unable to sync my outlook 2007 calendar with my icloud.
I called Apple support and was told "Tech is working in it." I would like to know when there will be a fix... I'm sort of hosed trying to keep track of multiple calendars without being about to use my outlook that I also use for business.

windows keeps stopping and restarting when I try to access files have rebooted as told by Microsoft help line all they are interested in now is selling me a service to access my laptop and sort out the problem for me £65 total rip off for a faulty system

The io error gives no further info. Occurs after RH has been booted for a short while. Commands like df, more, cat, etc return the io error. If use pointer to open new terminal session, the window opens (gui still appears to work ike this), but keying in a command mentioned above does same thing.
Updated bmc and bios w/ T&D disk 1.6. Couldn't run RH driver install (install.sh), because it complained that gcc wasn't installed. Attempted up2date, hung during the install of packages. Investigation showed the io error on another terminal session. Wiped and rebuilt frfom scratch - appeared better, but error reoccurred.
Ran VTS from SUE disk for 30 minutes and PCCHECK stress check for 30 minute, no error.
Can anyone shed light on the minimal "io error" response? It looks like it can't interpret the command, rather than getting an error from a device or whatever.'
