Windows vista says foxfire is still open when its' not
Sometimes when I am ready to work on the computer, a window comes up & tells me that Foxfire is still running and to close it before I can continue. As far as I know, it is not running. I have to restart in order to log on. Using Windows Vista 64 bit.

At least that. Below is a couple of things to try ONLY if the problem continues according to Mozilla.

Also
Make sure that the profile with default=1 in profiles.ini is pointing to an existing profile folder.
You can delete profiles.ini to force Firefox to create a new default profile.

The problem is not with your computer or Windows, it is a problem with Firefox in Vista. Problem to only way to rid of it is to use another browser.

We have a MAC OS X 10.6.8 and all of the sudden when we close out of Mozilla (both by using the red x and also using "quit") the next time we open Mozilla it has a "well this is embarrassing" Error screen and asks us if we want to re-open our last session. Then it will have whatever email, webpage, fb page, etc that we were on and we can either close it or reopen it.
This started last week, we have had the computer 2 years and have never had this problem before. Continues to say safari is open when its not
i've tried several times now to download flash player, every time i do it says to close safari to continue, i do this and it continues to say to close safari.
I've tried the help instructions on adobe where by it says to click on the safari tab, go to preferences and make sure a few boxes are ticked.

To exit safari, do the following:

Mac and Word say 2GB Flashdrive is full, when its not
All of a sudden, my 2GB Flashdrive is saying its full and Word will not let me save to it and I can't drag files into it. I know I've never put that much on it, nor have I deleted anything off of it.

If it's Fat32/MS-DOS format you'll get a full error if there are too many files at root of the drive.
You'll need to remove/delete at least one item so you can make a folder, then move everything else to that folder. Make more folders for newer things, as Folders have limit's also, just not as limited as the root... top level of the drive. -

I've upgraded to FF4 uing windows 7 64-bit - won't open when click on shortcut, have tried to reinstall etc, prev ok with version 3+
I found something that could be a workaround ... wel at least it's gotten me one step further (windows 7 now recognizes the scanner as the right device (symbol usb sync cradle), but step 8 keeps failing.

1. Install WMDC 6.
2. Plus the Windows CE based device.
3. Close the "Found new hardware" wizard.
4. Right-click on "Computer" and select "Manage"
5. Open the Device Manager, then select the Windows CE based device.
6. Right-click and select "Update driver..."
7. In the wizard, select "pick from a list..."
8. In the list, select "Microsoft USB Sync [Microsoft]".
9. ... nothing else! It works!
Anything else I could try now?The first time I tried step 8, the microsoft usb sync driver was in the list but I got an error while updating the driver. The second time, it didn't appear on the list anymore. I'm thinking this is more of a 64-bit driver problem.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.

Place the iPod in recovery mode after the firmware download is complete and then restore using the instructions in the article. Sometimes recovery mode timeouts and returns to disabled before the firmware download is complete.
