Windows wake on Bluetooth not working?

I have a Z77MA-G45 Motherboard, and cannot for the life of me seem to get Bluetooth to wake my PC on Windows 8 64-bit. I have two different USB Bluetooth adapters (one is Bluetooth 3.0, the other Bluetooth 4.0), yet after changing BIOS settings for power management, changing settings in the power management tab for said devices under device manager to allow wake from sleep and not letting windows turn them off during sleep, even changing settings for fast startup/hybrid sleep, nothing seems to allow me to wake the PC with any of my Bluetooth devices. :-\ One is a Bluetooth remote with working keyboard, which shows up in device manager as both a Bluetooth keyboard, and Bluetooth remote, the other is a Bluetooth keyboard as well.
Funny thing is, using this same exact PC, I have tried both Linux (Ubuntu), and hackintosh (OS X), and even with my normal BIOS settings, I can still wake both operating systems via Bluetooth, using the same Bluetooth adapters. It just doesn't make sense... It looks as though Windows still turns off the Bluetooth radio because the devices get disconnected and try to search for the Bluetooth adapters once in sleep mode.
Then theres even my MacBook. I have tried the same things on it. On OS X, my Bluetooth remote and keyboard are able to wake the MacBook. However in Windows 7, on the same MacBook, I cannot get it the Bluetooth remote to wake up Windows 7, although the Bluetooth keyboard seems to wake it, but it gets disconnected and then wakes the MacBook by trying to reconnect.
My goal is to get the Bluetooth remote to be able to wake my PC for an HTPC setup, which as mentioned before, works perfectly find to wake the other OS's, just neither Windows OS. :-\ So it seems to be a Windows specific issue if the same Bluetooth adapters and devices work in other operating systems.
Oh and lastly, I also have a Logitech wireless keyboard, which never fails to wake the sleeping PC. I even had it running on the same usb hub as my Bluetooth adapters, so its interesting it can still wake but not the Bluetooth devices... Ive even tried using without the hub itself, swapping usb ports, etc....
Any help on this would be MUCH appreciated, because this sucks.... :-\

I am not bothering with windows 10 my friend, it is too much of an newbe baby at the moment and there are just too many bug fixes need doing in my opinion. I did manage to get my dolby home theatre to work again in windows 10, but it was an awful dulled down version with only half the features of the original that came with the version that was on my pc. My plan is to stick to windows 8.1 until it's death. When they withdrawl all the security patches for windows 8.1 and it becomes obsolete, then I will be forced to trash my pc again and go to windows 10, was not much fun mind spending 3.5 days putting everything back to its former state. Hope they do make windows 10 more stable and fix a lot of the bugs. I understand that after updating to Windows 8.1 your bluetooth is not detected. If you go to Device manager and scan for hardware changes does it find it?
To assist you more effectively I will need to know your exact model of HP notebook.
What was the original OS on the notebook?
Was the bluetooth previously working?

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Pavilion g6-1318ax Notebook and needing help with Bluetooth. Here is a link to fixing Bluetooth issues.
If that does not help try looking at the section in this document Labeled: Make sure that wireless communication is turned on. Sometimes just turning on and off the Bluetooth helps.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system. If an updated is needed this could cause this issue.

uninstall both webcam and bluetooth drivers from device manager. let windows install its generic drivers.
once done, see if you're able to use it.

Bluetooth not working - T61 - PLEASE HELP :(

I read a few of other threads about bluetooth not working on T61.
What I tried:
Enabling the bluetooth adapter from BIOS (was already enabled)
No light showing up on the front of the laptop (turns on very briefly when I turn the laptop on)
Tried fn+f5 and it wont turn on (wi fi is).
I installed hotkey driver, rebooted a few times, still nothing.
When installing bluetooth driver, it says the device couldn't be found.
I used bluetooth before, then I reinstalled windows 7 and it stopped working.
Any ideas?

I got the same problem and it seems like Lenovo just don't care about it. I've already installed all the updates from Lenovo and Windows and newest Bluetooth drivers from Broadcom....still nothing.

In ios 7 upgrade bluetooth not working properly... It's always searching ... not detecting even ipad with ios7 (bluetooth on).
I was expected 7.0.3. but no use...

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset the BT device
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Audigy Platinum Ex Windows 7 SPDIF IN not working

Audigy Platinum Ex Windows 7 SPDIF IN not working? I have an old Audigy Platinum Ex that has served me well, until now when I have a new Windows 7 x64 PC (RTM). SPDIF IN no longer works, though everything else does (including SPDIF OUT). I've tried the current and beta drivers for the card, and no difference.
In Windows Vista x64 I could use ASIO drivers with my M-Audio ProFire 60 while using the Audigy for PC audio. Most often this was for skype, which I would set to use SPDIF IN/OUT which I then connected to the ProFires SPDIF OUT/IN. Using the ProFire mixing tool, I could control which mics and levels went to the Audigy while not interfereing with the ASIO drivers recording the mics. The ProFire also recorded the SPDIF OUT from the Audigy to caputre the person on Skype to their own audio track. This is a podcast producer's heaven, and I miss it!
If it's a known issue (SPDIF IN / Win 7), I've had this card through 4 PC upgrades and it's served me well enough I don't mind buying new. The Creative Sound Blaster X-fi Elite Pro looks to be the current version of my Ex - are there any Windows 7 issues currently that would stop me from using it in the role above? I will miss the FireWire port, a shame they dropped that.

Well basically it is possible, and I've found this out. Apparently Dell released a driver or something that allows it to work, but then only if you install a 3rd party modified xp version of the creative suite. I don't remember where I found it, but it was through google... Using some term including x-fi, dts, and vista.... Can't seem to find it now. Anyway, it had a download for the whole creative suite that was modified from the xp version for Vista, however it was buggy as hell, caused driver issues and blue screens, and ended up causing me to have to reinstall Vista altogether again. In other words, it's possible, but I don't recommend it until it's officially supported... Don't know when this will be yet... *crosses fingers*
Luckily I've got a dual OS system with XP too, and I switch to that when I want to use my Xbox 360... However due to Microsoft also being terrible in that department... I now get entertainment off of its 3 red lights... (For those of you who don't know, 3 red lights = hardware error. Sending into microsoft for repair typically is a 2 month process... I'm still waiting on my prepaid shipping box to arri've and it's been 4 days... Will be a similar wait to get it to them, 4-6 weeks for them to actually repair, and another week or so to get it all shipped back). Although even when the console worked, my dsl modem sometimes cut out when playing on Xbox li've and dropped signals, reported errors, etc.

I recently have an issue with Synaptics touchpad on HP Mini 110 Windows 7 32 Bit - NOT working for one user - working for another.
Windows 7 updates recently installed ???
By checking the device properties on the user that works - "Synaptics PS/2 Port Touchpad 13/10/2011 Version 15.3.29.0"
When the other user logs on, the touchpad works for a few seconds, then a displays a black square with a red diagonal line through it, then the touchpad won't respond. Trying to use the keypad to navigate to system diagnosics or anything to find further info is useless....

I will do my best in assisting to hopefully get the TouchPad to work on the second user profile.
What I would like to start off with, is to restore the original Synaptics drivers onto the profile that is not working correctly. I have included the document Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 7).
Once you have installed the original drivers, you will need to complete all updates from both HP, as well as Windows. For these updates, if you open the HP Support Assistant, and select Maintain, you should see an option for updating.
Please let me know how these steps do work out for you.

IPhone top sleep/wake button is not working & Apple Logo screen at startup

I have the original iphone. I have two problems, both just happened tonight at the same time. For seemingly no reason just my iphone external top sleep/wake button is not working. I tried powering the phone off and back on. I tried resetting my iphone, and restoring it. I made sure my Iphone software is up to date. None of these remedies have fixed the button. The button doesn't look broken, it pushes in and out, it just doesn't work anymore.
Second problem is, after I power my iphone off and then back on, the Apple logo screen will continue to flash on and off indefinitely. The only way to get my home screen to appear is to connect my iphone to my computer. Then it wants to sync. After syncing it then asks if I want to "power off" or "cancel". Huh, why does is it doing that? To turn my iphone off I am pressing my Home button down until it shuts off, since I can't power off with the top black button. Is that the reason my phone is having the second problem, because I am powering off with the Home button? Could it be my second problem is not a problem?
My iphone 1 year warranty is over. I can't call Apple Care, there is no apple store near me. I need a solution I can do at home myself. Please help. Even if you think the answer is obvious please suggest it to me. Before tonight nothing was wrong with my iPhone. It all started after I let my 6 and 7 year old nephews play with Google Maps on my phone for like 10 minutes - supervised. I consider myself to be a pretty Apple tech savvy guy, yet I can't figure out if they broke my iphone somehow, nor can I fix these two problems. Please help!

I'm afraid I have good and bad news. Apple sent me a new original iphone. So that takes care of me but does not take care of the issue for so many people like you. I do not know if you can purchase the Apple Care plan at this time. Look into that. It really is worth it. Apple products require Apple technicians in the rare case the breakdown. Apple did not offer me an explanation of how they'll fix my phone or even saying why they sent me a new one. I synced it with Itunes and all my personalizations and apps are loaded back on it. It's like my old phone only shinyer and probably going to last me longer than the old one.
I found out Apple Care covers the Iphone for 2 years past it's purchase date. So I would think that you could buy Apple Care even if you had it for like a year. Then it would at least cover you until the 2 year mark, which after that we're on our own(?). Please let me/us know if you were able to buy Apple Care protection and if they fixed your problem. I am impressed they got me a new phone so fast. I still love Apple.

Windows 2008 R2 does not work on Sunfire X4170

Hi, I recently bought a used X4170 server and have a weird problem. Windows 2008 R2 does not work, but 2012 does. I tried RTM version and a version with SP1. The problem is this:
After installing, I set the password and windows just displays a blank desktop, sometimes it boots but freezes soon after - the mouse cursor moved but nothing else works.
Booting in Safe Mode works and Windows do not freeze. The Event Log contains lots and lots (about 20 per second) of these entries:
