Windows xp old desktop, downloaded firefox, able to search web with google in top righthand corner, but can't search using the firefox search box, why not?

Computer novice, with old windows xp desktop, changed to firefox, have firefox as homepage, but can't use the central firefox search box, I type a word, click on search .......and....wait.......nothing happens. Have been able to use the top right hand corner search box (set on google). Not great with computers, so feel like I'm really missing something basic! Help! Thanks!

hello, please see if installing the search reset addon can resolve the issue: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/ (a restart of the browser is necessary afterwards).

The latest iTunes version is 11.0.1 version. 11.0.2 does not exist. Have you tried opening Apple menu > Software Update and install iTunes 11.0.1? If it doesn't show up, you have already iTunes 11.0.1

Exporting to Facebook - why can't I use the old plug-in?

It's nice that iPhoto '09 tried to help us with the Facebook exporter built-in. But why couldn't they make it useful? Why can't I tag people before I upload them? Why can't I upload photos to an existing album? I wouldn't mind so much, but they seemed to have disabled the existing (working) plug-in that was available. So now I have to export the pictures to my desktop and upload them through Facebook. Hmm...doesn't seem too user-friendly.

Since you have purchased a new Mac (which, BTW, is not typed in all capitals) why not buy a Time Capsule <http://www.apple.com/airport-time-capsule/> which is designed specifically to work with OS X and Time Machine?
You don't say what part of your Sony "crashed." If it was not the HDD it is possible to take the computer apart, put the HDD in an external case, then recover the data off of it (including the music) simply drag-n-drop. If it was the HDD that "crashed" that makes it more difficult.
If you are able to recover the music from the Sony you can then add it to the iTunes library on the Mac and iTunes Match will then scan, match and upload the tracks to be mirrored in the cloud.

1. Settings > General > Software Update > Update the to 8.3
2. Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
3. Reactivate phone and follow prompts to restore iCloud (or iTunes) backup.

Your device can hold apps from multiple IDs, but to update them you have to swicth identities which is time consuming. If possible use only the one ID. If you need to reset the password for your old ID visit My Apple ID.

As a suggestion I'd put the Text_io segments into their own begin - exception - end sub-blocks within the main code. This way if Text_io does raise an exception you can catch it earlier as it may be able to recover - That is if it is a text_io exception.
Other than that you;ll have to step through in Debug.
