Windows XP Professional SP2 x64 Edition BootCamp Drivers?

01. i start Boot Camp, created a second partition (101Gb for windows)
02. reboot back to vista formatted this partition in ntfs
03. reboot in Mac OS X, run Boot Camp and start installation WinXP x64
everything turned out well, but I found some of the Boot Camp drivers are not installed
where i may find Boot Camp drivers for WinXPProSP2 x64?

Windows XP x64 is actually based on Windows Server 2003. If you could find Server 2003 x64 drivers, you'd be set, as those should work. You might be able to use vanilla intel drivers, but don't quote me on that.
Also, did you check Windows update?

  • Windows 7 Professional (64bit) installation using bootcamp

I've read a 100 different posts on this forum regarding slightly different issues on this problem, but failed to solve it myself. I'm installing a copy of windows 7 professional (64-bit) through bootcamp on my iMac (bought late 2009) running OSX 10.6.4. The issue may be that I'm using an .ISO file (legitimate digital version i bought through school, with a serial key). I've burnt many different copies using both disk utility and Toast Titanium to make sure the disk burns in a bootable fashion. However I've had the exact same issue every single time. After partitioning the windows volume through bootcamp and initiating the windows install, the computer reboots. A screen appears and says 'loading files' the progress bar fills up twice and it then commences to another screen that 'Starting windows'. After about 15 seconds the disk drive audibly stops spinning and the computer hangs at this point seemingly frozen. I've done it multiple time erasing and re-partitioning the windows portion each time yet still hangs at the exact same point each time and I have to physically turn off the computer and restart. The only thing I have noticed is that a orangey-brown pixal appears above the 'windows starting' as if to commence a progress bar. This is driving me crazy as neither Microsoft or Mac support these issues.
Any help would be muchly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance,
    Pete

    Burn the ISO in Windows?
*If you used Apple Disk Utility, as has been said 100x here, burn it at 2x reduced burn speed (sometimes it boots and installs but still fails otherwise).*

  • Mid 2012 13" Macbook Pro Windows 7 Professional 32bit, which Boot Camp Drivers?

    Hi,
I've managed to partition my Hard drive, assigning 100GB to the Windows Partition. I've installed Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit SP1 and have managed to install MS Office 2007 (I've not installed any other updates as I can't connect to the internet over wireless yet as I've not installed the drivers).
I've downloaded three sets of of Boot Camp Drivers and have been unable to get any to work. The ones I've downloaded are:
    Boot Camp Support Software 5.0.5033
    Boot Camp Support Software 4.0.4033
    Boot Camp Support Software 4.1.4586
I now understand that v5 is the wrong version to use, however for both of the "version 4's", it is telling me that they are incompatible with this version of Windows... So I am very confused... I've unzipped the archives and have tried to run the set-up (and even tried the individual drivers)...
Does anyone know where I'm going wrong? I don't know which drivers I should be installing?
    Thanks,
    Alex

I've managed to solve it! Basically, it all came down to installing the "correct" package. I had foolishly assumed that the highest version number would support all the latest product.... However in the end I had to install this package:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1635
Basically, you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page (I assumed all the pages were the same as they have the same introductions), and open up the "system requirements" tab and check to see if your machine is on that list. Once you've found one with your machine, download and run that. Remember to extract the folder from the zipped archive first. It won't run if it's "still within the archive"...
    Cheers,

  • Oracle 10g on Windows XP Professional SP2

I have problem installing oracle 10 g on Windows XP Professional. When the installation goes to "Configuration Assistants", it shows three options, Oracle Net configuration Assistant, Oracle Database Configuration Assistant and iSQL *Plus Configuration Assistant. However, the status of "Oracle Net Configuration Assistant" keep showing "In progress.." for more than 6 hours. It seems the program is not responding, then I stopped the program, uninstall it and tried to install it again but the installation still stopped at "Configuration Assistants". I did the installation/uninstall 3 times already. Could anyone help and provide some solutions?

I tried the link listed above and I have some troble installing the sample database. Here are some problems.
    1) During the"completing database creation process" (About 85% finished), a window pops up and it said please see the following file for details.

  • JDK issues with Windows Server 2003 SP2 Standard Edition

    Hi,
We are running an ETL (Extracts-Transform-Load) Jar file which reads data from MS Commerce Server 2002, AS400 and SQL Server 2000 database and populates a SQL Server 2000 database. The jar was running fine on Windows Server 2000 but started to stall when we are running it from our newly acquired Windows Server 2003 SP2 server class machine. The JDK version is 1.4 on Windows 2000 and 1.6 on Windows Server 2003. Interestingly, the jar is running fine via JDK 1.6 on another Windows Server 2003 dev machine.
The jar does not throw any error and we have to manually shutdown the execution of the jar.
Can anyone please suggest some solutions here?
    Thank you!

Um, does this have anything to do with JavaMail? If not, you might try a more appropriate forum.

When you ask a Windows/BootCamp question in a Leopard forum, why would you expect to get an answer?
Most users here do not use Windows and cannot offer you any assistance, and most BootCamp users rarely come to this forum. This is the reason that there are forums dedicated to each part of the system.
You received an excellent reply. You were properly pointed to the correct forum for you particular issue.

  • A successful installation on Windows XP Professional SP2

I have had partial success installing before.
This time i created an D:\oraclexe director with the followin INHERITED permissions:
    ravn\Administrators : Full Control
Authenticated users : Read & Execute, List Folder Content, Read
    System : Full Control
I made sure that C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts contained the IP address and name of the PC. It also contained localhost IP address and name.
Installation went like a charm. Even the Database Home Page works.
I suspect that most problems with Oracle XE installations on Windows XP can be solved with the proper inheritable access rights. Errors in network configuration excepted.
    greetings,

.Net uses oledb connection. The connection string used on the WinXP system results in the ORA-12154 error on the WinXP x64 system.

I think that the problem is either the optical drive or the disk.
The installation should work fine via a USB optical drive. It had worked flawlessly for me on my MB Air.
Get a new disk, and, if that fails, get a new optical drive.

  • Problem installing Oracle 11g on Windows XP Professional SP2

    the blog at
    http://aricsblog.blogspot.com/2005/08/uninstalling-oracle-10g-manually-from.html
Then I downloaded win32_11gR1_database.zip (1824539KB) from oracle and
    unzipped it.
If I click either setup.exe or oui.exe, a dos console pops up and
    shows the following:
    Starting Oracle Universal Installer...

    Higher than 256 . Actual 4294968296 Passed

It hangs there for about 1 minute and disappears, and nothing
