Windows XP - Where do downloaded apps reside?

Just bought my wife an iPad and she has a PC.
Purchased several apps using my work PC and went through
all sorts of crap about the machine not being authorized
trying to get the apps onto the iPad. Finally got that to work
but I want to copy the apps that show up in my iTunes from my
work PC onto a disc so I can put them on my wife's home PC.
Can someone tell me where in the folder/directory structure
these files reside (Windows XP)
I see where there are problems where a system reset is called for
and I don't wnat to have to keep redownloading apps that I have purchased.
PLEASE help!!

My wife and I have 1 ipad.
I bought apps & games for her with my account.
She wants to update the apps/games.
They're linked to my account so my account info is required to update.
She now has her own account and wants the apps/games linked to her account.
Repurchasing an app is a ridiculous solution to transferring ownership.
Why not link it to an ipad instead? They have a mac address.
It's about the customers.
Get a clue.
And people wonder why there's software piracy..
Now that many of us have painted ourselves into a corner
and have to pay to get out, why not make it VERY PLAIN
during the purchasing process (not hidden in a EULA)
that purchases will forever be linked to that account
and are not transferable?

There will be no user-owned devices so there is no issue with rigid enforcement - we wish to stop games etc from being installed / propagated across the estate, which is a huge issue with the current devices

I have a Pavilion dv6700 currently equipped with the
NVIDIA GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M graphics card
I am testing the official Windows 7 release, but the Nvidia driver is not compatible.
Where can I get a hold of a windows-7 compatible driver?
Nvidia site said I must contact HP, but can't find a win7 version anywhere on the HP site
is it hidden somewhere or about to be released?

Previous purchases can be located in the Purchased section of either your iOS device or in iTunes on a computer. The purchases will be available to re-download as long as they are still available in the App Store and you are using the same Apple ID. Please use the attached article as a reference.

but just like AH said above, you can tap+hold/delete and find the files if they are there.
with the PDF Reader Pro: once I download and view a file, it will always show in that reader until I delete it.
when I download and open a pdf, it gives me the option to open it with a list of the products that I have installed that can view them.

You don't need an Apple ID to use a "classic" iPod. You only need a computer (Mac or PC) that can run iTunes. If your iPod is older, your computer does not even need to run the latest version of iTunes. You can add songs to your iTunes library from music CDs, and song files you have already. Then sync the iPod to that iTunes library.
An Apple ID only comes into play, if you want to buy and download songs (and other media) from the iTunes Store. This document describes how to create an Apple ID without a credit card

Apps for the iPhone do not run on Windows. You will need the iPhone to run the app.

Can any folk provide a link to download X Window System and tutorial to install it for Oracle Linux 5 ?

You can address the problem in a number of different ways.
You can install X-windows from the installation DVD or setup access to the Oracle public software repository as described in http://public-yum.oracle.com. In which case, the command to install X-windows is: yum groupinstall "X Window System"
Or, you login remotely and and use SSH with X-forwarding, in which case the software on the server will use the X-Windows server on your client system. This is probably the preferred way since you do not have X-windows installed on the server. If I am attempting to download app updates before attempting to sync, the problem normally occurs at the first “installing app x” stage. In addition, the whole iTunes experience is extremely sluggish and will even freeze while searching for a track. Everything worked fine on Windows 7. So far, I have repaired the program several times and have checked for compatibility issues, but there is no Windows 8 option in the combo box, obtained after right-clicking the icon and selecting Properties/Compatibility. As a result, I am unable to sync my devices. If I uninstall iTunes before re-installing, will this affect my iTunes libraries? Does anyone have any suggestions?

After going by elimination to isolate if the problem was from (1) iTunes app, (2) my computer or (3) my old iPhone 4G, I figured out what my problem was.
1) First I deleted & reinstalled iTunes on my Windows PC without succes, my playlist did not changed on my iPhone.
2) I tested a successful #sync from the iMac at work.
So my conclusion is: The hard drive on my Windows PC is full and that is affecting iTunes SYNC functionalities.
So I'll do a back-up then run a "Clean Install" of my Windows OS, hoping that it will fix my SYNC problems.
