Windows xp won't sync ANYTHING in my new ipod nano 3g

ok so i got my new ipod nano and it was working perfectly but then when i connected one day my computer said i needed to reconest my ipod or restore. so then i restored it and it didnt put any of my songs back. then i tried outting my songs back manually and the computer said my ipod was corrupted and i needed to restore. so i tried restoring it agiain. samething happened. now i cant sink anything from my itunes to my ipod and i have to use my brothers itunes which has different songs....help me.......i missing like 100 songs literally forrom my ipod since my brother has different songs on his itunes....HELP ME!!!!!!
p.s. i have the itunes 7.5 update already and my ipod is already updated so it cant be any updates........

Do the reset. Press and hold the on/off and home button until the apple logo appears. Cheers!

I recently bought a new ipod nano and when i got it home and connected it to my computer I was told my version of i-tunes was not compatable and I had to un-install it and then download it again. After I did this 4 times i eventually managed to get itunes to open on my computer and recognise my new ipod. However after all that hassle my version of itunes now wont recognise any of the music that has already been downloaded onto my computers music files. I have tried copying the music across and also using the add music to the itunes library command and nothing seems to work! I really like the ipod but if i had known that itunes was this difficult to work i would have picked a different type of music player! since i have bought the ipod ive heard nothing but bad things about how difficult and complicated itunes is to work so if anyone has any ideas for how i can fix this problem thatd be great! Itunes won't sync to my brand new ipod classic. It says "The Ipod cannot be synced because it cannot be found.

I have been onto Apple by phone, and into the Apple store where both of them recomended that it gets replaced. I did, got a brand new ipod classic, and i still have the same problem.
I have attempted to restore, but it won't let me for the same reason.
On a couple of occations it starts to sync!! however it goes through practicly the whole syncing process (12,000 songs, heaps of videos) and then just freezes up! The little rainbow orb spins forever until i have to force quit.
I have had my old ipod and my partners ipod regestered and used on the one itunes with no complications whatsoever, our old ipods sync perfectly with no problems at all.
very frustrated.
Is it my Ipod Box?
Or is it Itunes?
or does it not like me having more than two ipods registered?
with the last new ipod which was replaced and the current new ipod that's a total of 4 ipods regestered on the one itunes
My partner has a Dell Laptop with Microsoft. I downloaded Itunes on there, ripped one cd, formatted the current new ipod, and it synced the one cd i ripped with no trouble at all.
Has anyone else had the same problem with their Ipod Classic?

Is iTunes up to date (10.7)? Have you tried plugging the iPod into a different USB or using a different USB cable?
I would recommend doing a disk diagnostic on the iPod's HD using the instructions given by turingtest2 in this older thread to check your Hard Drive's health. He always covers what the resulting numbers indicate.

If I replace my 2005-era iPod with a new nano, will I be able to sync my existing content? Currently my Windows 8 will not allow me to access my music, etc., although I can see it. Took forever to event get iTunes to recognize my device--lots of removing of Apple software, downloading again, etc.

You can sync from your computer to your ipod.

I make the HUGE mistake of upgrading iTunes 7 (won't do THAT again) and upgrading the software on my 4GB nano to 1.3 (won't do THAT again, either). Of course, I hit the good 'ol recovery loop -- thanks, guys -- when I trial-and-error'ed my way out of that. Then it told me it wouldn't sync about 150 songs I PURCHASED FROM THE ITUNES STORE because "you're not authorized to play those songs on this computer." What kind of nonsense is THAT?

Choose Authorize Computer from the Store menu in iTunes and provide your account information when prompted.

Hi. I have the Nokia e73.
It seems that since getting a new laptop with Windows 8, I cannot sync anything other than my contacts and messages. My videos and music will not longer sync. And I have alraady download all the updates to Nokia Suite an all the updates that appear to be available for my phone.
And I tried using the "sync repair" feature in Nokia Suite.
Why won't it sync my pictures and video anymore? Please help!

Make sure the Enable disk use option is NOT ticked from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes. If you do have to remove this tick mark, be sure to hit the Apply button in the lower left hand corner of the window in iTunes to update the changes to your device. Then try restoring it again.

You need to contact Apple to get the questions reset. Click here, phone them, and ask for the Account Security team, or fill out and submit this form.
Whichever method you use, you probably won't get a response until the 26th. If you absolutely must make a purchase before then, create a new Apple ID; you won't be able to transfer previous purchases or iTunes Store credit to it.

New Ipod Nano 3rd Gen. Won't Sync Properly

I iPod Nano 3rd generation and, every time I plug it in and click "Sync", about midway through completion, I will recieve this message:
"Attempting to copy “DANIEL’S IP” failed. An unknown error occurred (-69)."
I don't even know what Daniel's IP is, let alone understand why it does this. I recently tried syncing my music to an iPod Nano 2nd Gen. 4GB and it got through the letter "J" (Artist name) and gave me this message. I bought this new 3rd Gen. Nano and it, too, only goes through letter "J" and gives me this message. PLEASE HELP!

No, I was hoping no one would say that. It is not a bad file because, on my nano 2nd gen 8 GB, every song was transferred. Plus, it stops at a different song each time and I have watched the top and still couldn't find where it stops. My question is still unanswered.

New Ipod Nano on Itunes but won't import songs

I just plugged my son's brand new Ipod Nano into Itunes and it appeared on the left side as David's Ipod but when I went to import songs from my library it won't allow me to do it. It has a circle with a line through it anytime I attempt to drag a song on to it. I have two other Ipods (nano and mini) and never had this happen. I installed the software that came with it before this happened. It also says something like Ipod can't be upgraded because playlists no longer exist...When I first plugged it in the Itunes said that the library was too large for the nano and that it could select the songs for me. When I said yes it started downloading all these songs from the library (songs my son didn't want). I managed to stop it by having everything deleted off the nano but now I can't import anything.
