WinDVD Creator2 cannot detect input from TV or VCR

I have a Satellite Pro M40 notebook and I am trying to input data from my TV/VCR so that I can record onto DVD. I have previously used the system for importing data through a digital video camera without problems. But now I am trying to convert family VCR's to DVD and when I try the Capture page shows a TV but when I click on nothing happens.
I am inputting the video through an S-Video lead.
Any ideas to help a novice!

As far as I know S-Video port on your notebook is Video-out port and you can use it to send Video signal to external device like TV. This port can not be used as Video-IN port.
Can you please tell me how did you connect your digital video camera? I have connected my digital video camera using firewire port without any problems.

Logic Pro X all of a sudden can't detect input from M-Audio Mobile Pre

I was recording guitars when I had to step away for a while. I closed the lid on my MBP and left. When I came back, all of a sudden, Logic can't detect any inputs coming from my USB interface. I have tried everything from rebooting, switching to the other input on my interface, updating drivers, but nothing seems to work. What's worse is whenever I start Logic with my interface plugged in, Logic gets stuck at Checking MIDI Drivers. If I unplug my interface, Logic would start fine, but if I plug my interface back, Logic won't detect it.
I am using the M-Audio's input while I am using the Built-In Output on the MBP (I don't have monitor speakers). It was working fine before.
I am using a Mid-2012 MBP 15" on OSX Mountain Lion and an M-Audio MobilePre MKII USB interface.

In this exact order
1) Unplug MobilePre
2) Remove it's drivers using the uninstall routine that is in the Driver DMG image ...
Note: If you get a message about it cannot uninstall.. Restart your Mac and then try to uninstall again...
3) Restart your Mac after you have uninstalled the drivers..
4) Reinstall latest drivers......
5) Restart Mac..
6) Wait until Mac has restarted and then plug in MobilePre...
It should then be correctly recognized and work....

Portege M900 cannot detect/read from DVD drive - Need help badly!

I have this problem with Portege M900. My laptop cannot read from the DVD drive.
Does any one has similar problem? Need help badly as I cannot play my game from the CD.

If I open up the iTunes app and select "purchased > music > not on this iphone" it tells me "All of your available music has been downloaded to this device." However, my purchases are not yet downloaded to the iphone and not available to download. If I go to "purchased > music > all > recent purchases" it will show me the purchases that were most recent the last time I synced my phone, but not the purchases since then.
Any thoughts on how I can remedy this and make all of my purchased music available on my phone without requiring syncing?

So I have been searching the iStore for Airplay and I find lots of information about what it is, but nothing about how much it costs, how/where to buy it, etc.?
Fortunately, AirPlay does not cost anything as it is a streaming protocol used by Apple. Currently, the AirPort Express and Apple TV are AirPlay-ready. A number of other companies, like JBL, iHome, Denon and Klipsch are also rumored to be working on AirPlay versions of their products.
Your other option would be to get an AirPort Express and connect it to your Onkyo analog or optical digital audio input and stream from iTunes that way. I currently do this with my 10+ year old Harmon Kardon HT receiver.

Cannot find file I'm trying to input from

I created a small text file called "Trial.txt" and tried inputting from it, but always got a runtime error saying the file cannot be found. Here's the relative code, but I'm not sure how I can identify the file.

make sure that in your finder preferences you have it checked to show external drives on the desktop and in the sidebar of finder
you find these preferences by selecting the finder icon (blue square on the dock w/ smiley face on it) then click on the work "finder" at top left corner of computer screen then click on preferences then general and put check next to show these items on the desktop and put check next to external drives
now you should see it on the desktop if you still can't open the drive or access it, it may be in format the mac can't read or write to so that could be an issue.

However, the driver "Microsoft teredo Tunneling adapter" has a yellow exclamation mark, which i believe means it's not installed correctly or something is wrong with it. This driver is under the Network Adapters (Please see picture below).
This is what happens when I connect my iPhone 4s to my laptop (Windows 7 Starter 32-bit)
1. The phone charges it's battery
2. I can open it in My Computer and import/export media files.
In iTunes
3. It start to sync until step 3 then stops.
4. The iPhone option with an arrow appears beside the iTunes Store, but when the arrow is clicked it disappears.
I hope you can provide me a solution for this problem.

For your iTunes issue with it not recognizing your iPhone, I would go ahead and suggest deleting iTunes and all of its components from your Windows computer and installing fresh.

As far as the arrow button that you click and the iPhone disappears, it sounds like you may be clicking on the eject button. Please take a look at the following article for information on the eject button in iTunes.

Regardless, Arris routers are known to either be incompatible with Bonjour or have problems with Bonjour packets hence Airprint will not work. Check with Arris' website and see if there is a firmware update availble for your router for Bonjour/Airprint compatibility and install it or switch out your router.

Webi report: Issue Cannot retrieve dimensions from Cube

Hello Experts, We're facing an issue with a partical set of Webi reports in Quality environment. The reports are BW reports based on OLAP BICS connectivity on top of Bex queries.y Below is the scenario and the issue: 1. The backed Bex queries have been trasported to Quality BW system and they're running fine when run from RSRT or Bex analyzer. 2.The Webi reports along with the BICS connections have been migrated to the Quality box and the BICS connections have been editied so that they point to the Quality BOX bex queries and they're testing and responding to the connection successfully. 3. The Webi reports pointed to the Dev Box in the Dev BOBJ system are working fine, but when the same reports for which the connections were repointed in Quality as above, are giving the error "Cannot Retrieve Dimensions from Cube". Steps taken: a. Deleted the reports and the BICS connection from Quality environment and remigrated the reports,connecitons and changed the connecitons but still the issue persists. b.Tried finding the root cause and got the following issue in the Bex query in Quality: There are filters put in the Bex query . All other filters are working fine except 0CALMONTH. We tried putting all sorts of variables on 0CALMONTH, but the moment a variable is put on 0CALMONTH, this issue occurs. But when we tried removing the variable from 0CALMONTH in filters and restricted it to a single value, the Report works fine. However the same is not an issue in the Dev Box and all queries with similar variables are working fine. So we're thinking this might be an issue on the BW backend and the cube might have to be transported again to the Quality Box. ANy quick suggestions or inputs on this would be greatly appreciated. my v3753au is wonderfully running on 32 bit win7. lately the bios cannot detect the internal dvdrom & kinda hard to detect (longer than usual) the internal hdd during startup. i've tried with the other dvdrom & it's still the same. however, the one that i used is still ok on other laptop. fyi, i've tried with the original f.15 version as well as the latest f.28 version but both let me down. when win7 runs, dvdrom doesn't appear either in win explorer or device manager. i've also checked the registry for that filter thing but it isn't there. any suggestions of what should i try next?

Its no matter if the SATA mode is set to AHCI or compatible mode. The HDD should be recognized by BIOS even if the AHCI mode has been selected.
At the first BIOS page the HDD should be listed with the name and size.
If it isnt the case, it could be possible that your HDD controller is faulty.
What HDD did you purchase exactly? Is it a 2.5 SATA HDD?

Camera Window pops the message "Cannot detect Camera, Check connection to camera, then retry"

Upon startup Firefox says "Proxy is refusing connections." When I select "Auto-Detect Proxy" from Advanced settings and solve problem, changes are not saved and upon next startup I must select again...!

Firefox 4 was working fine. Then one day, when I started up Firefox, it says "Proxy is refusing connections." I solved this by selecting "Auto-Detect Proxy" from Advanced network settings, but my changes are not saved and upon every start-up I must select it again! (I even completely removed my webroot antivirus protection, as it as hindering many proxy related programs, but this seems to not be the source of the problem)

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

That is because the 2009 MBP does not support audio via the minidisplay port. You will have to tap the audio output port for audio and use the RCA audio input connections on the TV.
