WinProducer install issue - missing dll

I purchased a G4MX440-VTD8X video card with the bundled WinProducer / WinCoder software.  When I attempt to install I get....
..main menu
..click on install software
..click on winproducer/coder
..click on install now
..get a screen with the professional users pack stuff on it -- click next
..click i like it on the 'authoring & burningto vcs/svcdsupport' screen
..click on  I like it  on the divx screen
.. get winproducer setup is creating the install shield wizard....., the task bar moves to the right
.. then I get
unhandled exception
error number:0x80040707
Description:Dll function call crashed:Instutil.GetProducerProductInfo
Setup will now terminate
What am I missing?  It seems that it is looking for a dll -- is it missing from the CD?  Or is there something that I need to have already installed to get the product to install for me.
Thanks, Nacho

Maybe if someone had this dll file they could send it to me -- maybe I could get the install to pick it up...

  • Oracle Designer Install and Missing DLL's

    To Whom It May Concern:
I downloaded Oracle Designer from the download page on the Oracle site and am having difficulty installing and/or starting the Oracle Designer application.
    1) Oracle Designer Install Win32 does not allow Home names longer than 16 characters.
??? - the default Home name for Oracle Client 10g is OraClient10g_Home1
    2) After installation, Unable to locate [xxx].dll occurred multiple times. I manually copied the first missing DLL to the Oracle\...\Client_1\bin directory from [ZipFile]Install\Win32, but I couldn't find the second dll.
What do I need to do to be able to use Oracle Designer?
I am Running Oracle Client 10g on Win XP Pro SP 2
    Thank you,

I found the small print...Oracle Developer Suite Required.

  • Officejet 7500A installing drivers, missing dll file, can't scan

I have a new laptop with Windows 7 Professional, using first the cd, I installed drivers to use my Officejet 7500a on my wireless network, during installation it said it could not find file HPWia2_OJ7500_E910.dll and asked if I wanted to continue.  I did and in the end could not set up the scanner.  So per HP website and uninstalled all software and reinstalled, this time from the HP site.  Same exact thing occurred.  Again, worked through the process and uninstalled and reinstalled drivers again, same problem, "can't find file".  Scanner is the one thing that doesn't work.  Printer appears to work fine but I really need to scan as well.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Hello aaatexas,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with installing the printer.
I'm going to give you a Microsoft link that will show you how to do a clean boot in to the computer.  Once the clean boot is finished and the computer is restarted, please attempt to reinstall the software and drivers for the printer.

  • Re-install issue:  "missing files" ?

My MacBook was getting slow, so I decided to try a clean re-install after backing everything up to an external drive. After I reinstalled OS X Tiger, I reloaded my apps and libraries of preferences and all from the external drive. When I tried to launch Keynote, I got a message saying, "Files that iWork needs are missing. To restore the missing files, use the iWork installer to reinstall iWork." So I tried that; I trashed the apps, deleted the iWork preferences (.plists), and re-installed from the disc, then ran Software Update until it said I was up to date. Now I'm getting the same error message. Any idea how I figure out what files are missing?
    Thanks -
    Eric

I was installing Dreamweaver (Mac version) and received this message. The support people gave me the tech note that says to install the most recent ExtendScript update and if this doesn't fix the problem uninstall the entire CS3 Suite. Do either or both of these things if all you have is a day to blow off. AND after you reinstall the entire suite you still have to get all the updates - more time wasted. FYI, the first time I had this issue last year I did this and it didn't fix the problem because, at least then, the uninstaller didn't remove the old ExtendScript files.
This was the real fix. Search for ExtendScript on your system. Throw all the folders in the Trash. Restart your system and run the CS3 installer. If you watch the installer the first thing it does is repair the current installation. Because the ExtendScript folder is missing it replaces it and installs the components you want. Fix time - 2 minutes.

  • When I try to install iTunes 64bit on wndows 7 I get "missing dll" message and install fails...Help!

When I try to install iTunes 64bit on wndows 7 I get "missing dll" message and install fails.
I have restarted my PC. Redownloaded the installer from apple. Checked the hash thingy etc...nothing seems to work...

I am glad you left this up here: nowhere does the error say what the problem is, other than a "missing .dll file." I have seen several other people cite the same issue in detail, but the only responses seems to be 'snarky' -- that the person didn't give enough detail, and that they aren't mind readers.

  • I keep on getting the message "missing .dll file" when I try to install Itunes on Windows 7 what is wrong ?

I am using Windows 7 (64) and keep on getting the message of "missing .dll files" after I attempt to install the latest version of ITunes. I attempted to install an earlier version and had the same results. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ITunes to no avail. I have queried this message on Google and found little to go by.
Can anyone help from here ?

This has just happened to me - again. Can't think what caused it. I uninstalled Quicktime a little while ago, maybe connected? I don't know. Uninstalling iTunes, or repairing, or a fresh iTunes install does not help
Even if you keep downloading and putting the dll files it keeps asking for in the sysWOW64 and/or System 32 folder, Apple Mobile Device Support will not not 'start' from Services.
Anyway, as well as itunes, you need to also un-install Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, and Bonjour, then reinstall the latest iTunes to get it all working again

  • Unable to install ituns on windows 7 64 missing .dll file

Unable to install ituns on windows 7 64. Installer states missing .dll file.

Here is a solution that worked for a user who also had a problem with iTunes Software Support. This thread was for a win32 version, but Maybe this is the problem for both of you?:
IT appears that AppleApplicationSupport.msi, is not opening and installing properly.
Download and SAVE iTunesSetup.exe, where you can find it.
    Then:
    1. Download and install WinRAR.
    2. Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe icon and choose "Open with WinRAR".
    3. Once the EXE is opened in WinRAR, double-click AppleApplicationSupport.msi and when the installer window is open choose "Repair".
    4. Done! You can now run iTunes normally.
Here is a link to that fairly lengthy thread.. http://discussions.info.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2151777&tstart=-1

  • INVALID OR MISSING .DLL INSTALLING NEW ODP 10.2 BETA

    Hi,
We've been trying to install the new ODP beta and having a vairety of problems, some look like a corrupted .exe but my problem is 'invalid or missing dll' when I click on the beta .exe. No .dll is specified and I've changed the path, reinstalled .Net Framework 2.0 and the database 10.2 EE. Same problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Victor

    Hi Victor,
Can you try out the following for me? Download ODAC version 10.1.0.4 or 9.2.0.7 and see if the self-extracting executable works on the same page of the beta. Those executables use the same installer technology as the beta installer. It will help us isolate the problem.
Can you tell me also what OS and what SP you are installing on?

  • Missing .dll? (nilvaiu.dll) ...when building an installer in 2009.

Ok, what we have here is a bit of fumbling in the dark... I haven't built a executable/installer since I was working with  LV8.6, so please bear with me here...  before anyone ask, yes I did search!
Here's my process at this point...
I have a VI that is working as desired.  I wish to make this a standalone executable that I can run on another computer to manage some controls.
I have the 2009 LV runtime engine installed on said computer.
I then open my VI, again verify that it is working as desired, and add a new Project.
This VI is added to the project.
I now have the project explorer open, and select Build Specifications and select New/Application(EXE)
On the following tabs I take the following actions...
    Information... No action taken
Source Files... I select the VI and add it to the Startup VIs list
    Destinations... No action taken
Source File Settings... No action taken
...and basically leave all the rest at their defaults.
Hit Build and it builds "My application", which is added below the Build Specifications file.
I took that folder with the exe file included and tried to run it on my target computer and it comes up missing the afore mentioned nilvaiu.dll
Now, am I making this too simple?  Missing some steps?  I also went down the path of making a installer and get the same missing dll when I run it.
I'm more than willing to read and learn, but I'm either just not searcing for the correct terms or in the right places.  A point in the right direction would be much appreciated guys!
    Thanks,
    Chad

    Hi ogk.nz,
Have you included all three DAQmx installers and checked both boxes at the bottom of the window as shown in amezam's post when you built your installer? There may also be a compatibility issue, as DAQmx 9.9 is not supported on LabVIEW 2009. Try reverting to DAQmx 9.7 or upgrading to LabVIEW 2010 as per this compatibility chart:

    paintballer4lfe,
Have you tried the steps in article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1926 ?
In particular, you may want to follow the steps to "Clean up iTunes installer files on the computer" and "Empty your Temp directory and restart". Sometimes it also helps to follow the steps to "Disable other conflicting software" prior to following the first two I mentioned.
Other good troubleshooting advice can be found here as well: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1421
    Hope this helps,

  • Missing DLLs After Updating SB Live! Dri

A few days ago I updated my Creative SB Li've! driver to the latest available on the Creative site. Since then I've been getting messages about two missing DLLs: Ctkbres.DLL and CtSuRes.DLL. I really don't want to roll back my system, as I've done a lot of other work since then. Can anyone send me these files and/or tell me where they should be placed? Thank you very much.

    Blake,
This is most likely a registry path pointing to a .dll that has moved. When you installed the update was there an Antivirus program running in the background? Programs like this can prevent registry changes from taking place. Your best bet to fix this will be to follow the cleansweep instructions in this article:
    http://us.creative.com/support/kb/ar...asp?l=2&sid=72
Then reinstall from the CD and update with any Antivirus programs disabled.
