Can you please let me know what is to be done,
I do not want to download the files again(it takes 12hrs to download).
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Faheem.
PS:My appologies if this is the wrong forum to post the question.
Thanks. Looks like there is no other option.
Is there any way to make sure that the files are not
corrupted during/after download?
Im using FlashGet to download the software.
I can see from the errors that Part 2 requires a download, what about part 1?
Is the following error related to part 1:-

JSPM does not connect - SAP Netweaver PI7.1
Hello All,
I am trying to access my JSPM.
When I execute the go script, I get this message:
Current log directory is /usr/sap/<SID>DVEBGMGS02/j2ee/JSPM/log/log_2009_08_01_10_24_43
Waiting for SDTServer to connect... and nothing happens.
I use <sid>adm to execute the go script and running it on a X-Server application.
Please help me..
Regards,
Suresh
Edited by: Suresh Kalagarla on Aug 1, 2009 2:12 PMHai,
Please check 'xclock' to verify that your export display is working fine or not.
Also check the SDM server status before running JSPM, check the permissions of the respective directories as well.
Did you make any changes to the Profile/exe directories before starting JSPM?
Try to check the main logs of JSPM.

Helpfiles for "SAP NetWeaver 04s ABAP"
Hallo to all.
First of all I have to thank to all people that help me during the installation of "SAP NetWeaver 04s ABAP".
I'm now able to develop ABAP Applications at home.
But Ive also a new problem which I couldnt solve yet.
when I'm try the F1 - Help no help files appear. I only get the message: "There are no help files available".
I've looked the whole SAP "NetWeaver 04s ABAP" .rar File for the help files but I did not found them.
Are in this version no help files? Or is there a possibility to download the files and integrate them to "SAP NetWeaver 04s ABAP".
If someone has an idea, please post it.
Best regards

SAP NetWeaver 04s SP7 installation and DHCP server
Hi All,
I am installing SAP NetWeaver on a machine which I use at work. I am little scared whether this installation might harm my computer or the local corporate network. This machine is connected to the local network (uses DHCP) to get the IP address.
Are there any precautions which I need to take before I start practicing on this platform ?
I read this below point in the installation instructions...
=========================================================
If no DHCP server is available on your network (which dynamically determines the IP address) or your computer is not connected to any network, you need to install the virtual interface adapter MS Loopback Adapter. This is described in detail within the contents of the download package.
=========================================================
Now as my computer is using DHCP (unknown location), if I install SAP NetWeaver 04s SP7, do I need to disconnect my comp from the Network and then install the MS loopback adapter ? or Its ok to ignore the DHCP option as my comp is already using DHCP ?
Thanks and Best Regards
Ayub.Hi Ayub,
U dont need to disconnect ur computer from network. Just install a microsoft loopback adapter and assign it a static ip, and assign that ip and hostname on windows\etc\hosts file. it will installs on loopback adapter and ur local network connection will be as it is.
hope it will help u.

Master Data load does not extract Hierarchy nodes in BPC Dimension ACCOUNT
Hi Experts,
I am performing master data load through standard DM package with Filter selection as:
1. Chart of Accounts
2. Hieararchy selection has 4 hierarchy names
3. Selected Import Text nodes
4. Selected Set Filters by Attribute OR Hierarchies
I have run this DM package for a set of data and selections a week ago and it worked fine.
However when i run it now, it is giving issues,
It extracts any new GL maintained in the BI system however it does not extract any hierarchy nodes at all! (Have tested this by deleting the hierarchy nodes and tried to run the master data load)
I am running the DM package in Update and have selection as External.
Any sugestions for checks / has anyone encountered this issue earlier?
Regards,
Shweta SalpeHi Guyz,
Thanks.
I found that the issue was with the transformation file where i was maintaining the RATETYPE.
When i removed the mapping of RATETYPE this works fine. (Pulls the nodes of hierarchies)
however now i do not have Ratetype populated in the system.
my rate type mapping is:
RATETYPE=*IF(ID(1:1)=*STR(C) then *STR(TOSKIP);ID(1:1)=*STR(H) then *STR(TOSKIP);ID)
and in conversion file i have TOSKIP *skip
I have to skip the ratetypes for the hierarchy nodes and my hierarchy nodes start with C and H.
So now that i have removed the mapping for RATETYPE can anyone suggest me a correct way to achieve this? (Note the above mapping formula was skipping all of the hierarchy nodes starting with C and H)

When i tried to make confirmation for Production Order through CO15 transaction , i receive the following error message “ Production scheduling profile for production order type 10 does not exist – SAP Message No.10085 “
In Work Scheduling view, Production Scheduling Profile is maintained as per OPKP only.
How to check whether production scheduling profile is maintained for relevant order type 10.
To do this , i went to OPKP & KOT2_OPA transactions but i don’t know how to check. I guide me through with a screen shot.
Also, pls explain about “Order Type 10” and how it is linked with material and order execution.
Looking for a detailed explanation with screen shots , since i am new to SAP.
Thanks With Regards,
Dinesh Kumar V.Hello Dinesh,
Please check the order type dependent parameter in OPL8 here you will get the Substitute Scheduler
Then go to OPCH and check valid production scheduling profile assign here as per OPKP to your production scheduler for your plant.
Production order have Order category as 10 Process Order 40 in standard SAP you can check this in OPJH.

Web Start does not extract native library
Hi there,
weve been deploying our application through web start for about a year, yet. And we are in the "lucky" situation, that all customers are running windows and indentical JREs.
A few weeks ago we switched from 1.4.2_08 to 1.5.0_03. Our customers (pre-)install our application by using the -import option of web start, which downloads fine. But recently, we receive more and more error reports, that a call to a native library fails, when the application is first run.
Thus we inspected the users' web start cache and found out, that though the jar containing our native lib was downloaded into the cache, but the contained dll is not extracted.
The extracted dll usually resides in a directory RM*.jar in the cache. And of course, as it isn't there, the call to the library fails.
But the question is, why web start does not extract the dll in some cases? Unfortunately we were not able to reproduce this situation locally, so we're limited to our customers' reports.
Btw. the dll is in the jar's root directory and the jar itself (as well as all other application jars) is signed.
Any suggestions?
Clearing the cache and donwloading again solves the problem, but might not be suitable for users that repeatedly need to download 10 megs with an isdn dial-up connection... :-/
Thanks in advance!
tdecemTo try to reproduce the original problem, remove the deployment.properties file from the <application data>\Sun\Java|Deployment directory, then run 1.4.2 with you app. The upgrade to 1.5.0.
The cache will only be upgraded if deployment.properties file indicates that it has never been run with 1.5.0, so if you have had 1.5.0 insalled on a system, and then you remove it, the cache may never be upgraded unles the deployment.property file is removed and then used with 1.4.2. -
VC usage for SAP NetWeaver 04s SP7
Hello All,
I have successfully installed SAP NetWeaver SneakPreview 04s SP7.
And would to use the functionality of VC.
Any suggestion how to proceed on this.
Regards
AjayYou have to call the url http://localhost:50000/VC/default.jsp
prior to this you have to install the Adobe SVG viewer which is a free download from Adobe webpage.
You have to establish a connection to a BI system, if you want to access BI functionality.
This BI system could be a system in the SLD of your local net environment. It has to be installed properly in the SLD.
Without access to any system its not very enjoing to test the VC.
Anyway have joy -

Thank You , LUCAS.NWDS 7.0.0.8 = NWDS SAP NetWeaver 2004s Edition SP8.
So, there's basically no difference in installing any of these.
The problem might be in the fact that you extracted the installation into some subfolder on your filesystem. The installation contains a very deep folder structure, which Windows cannot handle if you extracted into some subdir. You will not get an error about this though, the installation just thinks it's finished although it has not copy all files yet.
I suggest extracting to the root of one of your disks and retry the installation from there. -
Sales order does not extract plant information from material master data
Hi experts,
I have created a sales order. However, the plant in the shipping tab can only be manually entered.
I have made the check:
the customer material master data does not have the plant info.
the customer master data does not have it either.
It is defined in the material master data: sales:general/plant
But the sales order did not extract this information. Why does this happen?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
FanHello Friend,
As right stated by you,
The Plant will be copied from the master data to the sales order, if not it should be manually entered
The Sequence System will search for the Plant is as follow..
1. Customer material infor record, If it was not maintained then it will search in
2. Customer master, if the entre was not maintained in the SHIPPING TAB
3. Finally it will search in the Material master in the Sales organisation data 1 in the field DELVERING PLANT field.
So please search whether the entry was maintained in that field at the sales:sales organisation data 1.
This might be the issue.
Please revert if you want further details

*.control_files='/oracle/<SID>/origlogA/cntrl/cntrlDDI.dbf',

'/oracle/<SID>/sapdata1/cntrl/cntrlDDI.dbf'

[chris@cow opera]$
With the good help of irc people I discovered that makepkg was not extracting archives before it tried to use them to make a package. (An example in this case would be it not extracting opera-10.00.gcc4-qt4.x86_64.bz2 and then trying to use what would have resulted from its extraction to actually make the application.) This is why it would give the "No such file or directory" error.
I havn't the slightest clue why packages aren't extracting. Any ideas?

Error: Makepkg was unable to build opera package.
I have a limited understanding of this, I'm guessing makepkg does not recognize the binary and so it skips it?
@iBertus: Thanks for veryifying it works on you 64 bit arch. However I've had this problem on 32 bit arch also.
