Winshuttle problem with new excel sheet

Hi ,
I am getting Winshuttle problem after the excel upgraded to latest version.
when i open the winshuttle from icon, i dont get any prompt/no information.
Any ideas fromo experts ?

We solved the problem by going into the performance settings and disabling the "fade" functionality in Windows. To get to the screen to make the changes in Windows, open the Control Panel and navigate to "System". Open "System" and click on the "Advanced Settings" tab. Next, click on the button marked "Settings" in the "Performance" area. In the "Visual Affects" tab, clear the checkbox for three "Fade... " options.
I tested this successfully, even for users who have no administrative rights on their computer.
Please try this solution and see what results you receive. The strange thing in our situation is that the OS image used for laptops does not suffer the problem with Bex and WinShuttle as does the OS image used for desktop computers.
BG, are you from the UK? I ask as I watch a few UK television programs, and I notice they use "sorted" in the same manner us Americans use "taken care of" or as us Southerners say "figured out".

Problem with Protected Excel sheets through OLE

Hi Friends
We are facing the problem with the protected sheets in excel, when we are accessing worksheets via SAP.
We can insert the values in the protected sheet and we can do other manupalations, but when we are trying to do the autofit for the protected sheet via SAP, then its throwing an error while making it as Visible in SAP ECC 6.0.
Though it is valid, because even when we do in the excel itself, it wont allow the user to shrink the columns, but this one is possible in ECC 5.0 and we can make excel is visible on the screen.
I would like to know is this SAP Version problem or anything else apart from this? and I would like to know is there anyway to unprotect and protect the sheet through ABAP program with out a password. Now my clients wants the autofit though its protected.
Please give me any suggestions.

its bug with ECC 5.0. If we want to make it auto fit we need to unprotect, then auto fit.
Later we can protect again

Admiright Problem with Tdms Excel Automation

Hi
i have a problem with the TDMS Excel Plugin. I normally have now Administrator Rights on my Computer. So i got the Administator Rights to install the TDMS Excel Plugin. After i had the rights, i installed the Plugin and everything works fine. Then i wrote a VBA script with automatically imports TDMS Files and Copy &Paste Values in a new Excel sheet. Thes macro also works fine. After a while i lost my Admin Rights and i am a "Normal" user again. But with no more Admin-rights my macro doesn't work any longer. There is a error messange which tells me that " ...only a Administator can connect or disconnect the Plugin..."
The normal manual import with the Plugin still works.
Can anybody help me with this probblem?

How to save data in New Excel Sheet on each time run the VI?

Hello everyone
I am doing my dissertation. In that i have to store the data of load cell in the excel sheet. I have done that.
Here i have attach the vi , template in which want to save data named My , and output when complete the rn of vi named My Report.
Now the problem is once i have run the vi , my report is generated but second time when i run the vi the new my report sheet is not generated. and the second problem is i am getting out put as 511, 0, 2.49.
I want the when ever i run the vi every time the new excel sheet should be generated and saved with date, time and my report tag. ex. My Report 20/11/13 12:00
And i want the output 511,2.49,...dont want this 0.
please hepl me out its urgent

You just need to change the settings. Whenever it will write to excel it will display the save as option.
Then user will confirm the same
In the excel dispose report.vi passsave change and close report boolean input as TRUE and see
Kudos are always welcome if you got solution to some extent.
I need my difficulties because they are necessary to enjoy my success.

Storing data in a new excel sheet for each loop count

I have a data acquisition code that takes data from the oscilloscope and saves it in an excel file.
The oscilloscope has to take data at different instants(at each loop count). At each instant, the data gets appended to the same excel sheet. I just wanted to know if there is a way so that each time the data gets stored in a new excel sheet......
If I run the vi again, the data is stored in a new excel sheet. But in a single run of the vi, all the data is always stored in a single excel sheet. Can anyone please help me with this??

Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
Solution to working You Tube app:
-Go to playstore
- Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
- "Et Voila", working again.
This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.

Wifi problems with new ipad

I'm trying to learn how to correct wifi problems with new iPad. It is the wifi only, 64GB model. I want to be able to use it at work, where we have a great wifi network. I can usually connect to our network with no problem, but after an hour or so my iPad loses the network. When I try to reconnect, I see that the network is showing full strength reception, but I get the error message from the iPad that I am "Unable to join" the network. My iPhone connects to the same network seamlessly, as do all of the other iPhones of my co-workers and the older generation iPads that some of our staff has.
At other locations, I typically have no problems (home, apple store, etc.) but I have had the same situation pop up at a coffee shop where I could see that there was a wifi network available, but I could not join it even though it was the shop's free wifi.
I have tried turning the iPad off, turning off wifi and turning it back on again, and forgetting the wifi network in question. I can't think of any other methods that are available to an end user to correct the problem.
I have already gone to the Apple store to swap out the unit, and the newer one is having the same symptoms.
Can anyone offer any advice here? This is quite frustrating.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

List of Problems with NEW Web Mail :
- At first doesn't open full page message list or retain full page as default setting, have to drag down bar
- Only shows 20 message lines after “pulling down” the divider, screen partially empty until I scroll down. It should show at least 26, preferably all available
- After moving bar, bar moves back up after going back to inbox (not delete message) after reading a message, have to move it down again, and again...
- Doesn't go to next message when delete message on screen is selected, no setting option for default to do this.
- There is a drop down to select which folder to move a selected email to. The initial display shows 7 usable choices, with the usual slider and arrow to show more choices. The space on the slider clearly shows more choices are present (actually about 20 or so are there), but any attempt to use the slider or arrow to see more choices causes the drop-down to instantly disappear. I can't move the selected field with arrow keys either. I can select any of the visible 7 choices, and move an email to only one of the 7. NOTE: This one works in both IE and Firefox, but if Verizon Webmail was fully web standard (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_standards) compliant it would also work in my preferred browser, Mozilla Seamonkey, the direct descendant of the original Mozilla browser. Webmail should be FULLY web standard.
- Occasionally a message will move from inbox to trash, without NO indication or command to move them.
- Emails occasionally flash an error message and simply disappear - not to trash or other findable place, just disappear. No time to read the error message either.
- No way to set a whitelist for supposed spam emails, unless the whitelist for “Blocking” is the same. Very unclear.
- How can I switch my service back to the original, basic, email which works ok? I know it’s still there, since some of my other accounts still access it!!!
This seems my only way of getting this info direclty to the programming staff. If it doesn't actually do this, will SOMEONE PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO THEM !?!

Reposting this If your having problems with new Windows 8.1 do a full uninstall of all Apple iTunes programs but uninstall them in right order and then do restart of computer then reinstall newest iTunes and it will all be fixed up syncing problems or other problems this is thanks to Apple phone support

Problem with an excel file

Dear All,
I have a problem with an EXCEL file, i'm in a domain with windows server 2003 and all of the computer have windows 7, a user had open 3 weeks ago a fil excel after she gone on holiday so the file remain open (i don't know how) by she.
I've try with all unlocker program to make the file deletable, but not work... it is very strange because if i try to open it with the account of the user that open the file appears always the same error (open read only)...

You may end the Excel process first, the “PsTools” have a pskill command that you can use to end a process remotely.
Here’s a simple command:
pskill \\computer –u username -p password excel.exe

At first I thought it might be because I was using simultaneously my old iPhone 4S so it somehow realized the emails where being pushed to another device and the it marked as read, this has nothing to do since I have deleted the email account from the iPhone 4S

Contact the email provider for assistance with their service.
