Win XP SP3 で.11,5,502,110 がIE8のみ反映.FF16は11,4,402,287のまま

初めて質問させていただきます。
Windows XP Pro SP3 で、IE8、Firefox 16.0.2を併用しています。
(1)

で、バージョン確認すると、
IE8　：　11,5,502,110
FF16　：　11,4,402,287　
と表示されます。
設定マネージャーは下図のとおり。

同じベージでは、
Firefox、Mozilla、Netscape、Opera（およびその他のプラグインベースのブラウザー）
11.5.502.110
と記載があるので、FF16　にて、

で、Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 を「今すぐダウンロード」
ダウンロードした
install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih.exe
をダブルクリックし、実行ボタンをクリックすると、下記エラーが出ます。

にしたがって、IEのセキュリティの設定を確認するも、対処法に記載されたとおり、
アクティブスクリプトは有効にすでになっており、
さきほどの、このページのスクリプトを実行し続けますか？はい　を押すと、
エラー表示が消え、とはいっても「インストール完了」のようなメッセージも出ません。
このあと、再度、FF16にて、バージョンテストすると、
You have version 11,4,402,287 installed
と表示されてしまいます。
FF16の正しいバージョンアップ方法をご教示いただけますでしょうか？

We probably fixed that bug in yesterday's release. Please try 11.5.502.135 if it solve the issue.

hi i have noticed the same problem. also with Chrome and FP ver 11.5.31.2and Firefox and Safari with FP 11.5.502.110
it seems that MovieClipLoader class not returning onLoadInit event. I use to add a fadein function on loadInit to fade in the loaded images. with the latest Flash PLayer versions this is not activated so you cannot see the loaded images.
I have tested this on 3 different systems and the problem is the same. I have not updated my FP for IE. There, the older FP still works well.

Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 SCCM exit code 1003

I'm currently trying to rollout Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 using Microsoft SCCM to our corporate machines (600 machines). I am using the command line "install_flash_player_11_active_x.exe - install" in the SCCM package.
However, when running this through SCCM it just fails with an exit code of 1003 and states "retrying". This is the same on all 3 test machines that I have tried so far.
When running the same command through a command line, it does install the software.
The machines are all running Microsoft Windows XP SP3.
Has anybody been able to successfully deploy this software to multiple machines using Microsoft SCCM?

Problem with audio in 11.5.502.110, with a kiosk application from 2004

Hi,
In 2004 we developed a large scale elearning with games to assist kids in learning to read.
We wrapped the flash into kiosk application and distributed it to schools on cd's. (we used flashplayer 6, for a windows executable).
Now we are getting support calls about audio not working anymore resulting in the application hanging.
Although we wrapped application, the application is still accessing some shared library, probably.
Right now we are investigating the issue, trying to reproduce. for now I have a quick question: is this a know problem for 11.5.502.110 and will it be fixed?

Win XP SP3 PC wired to WRT54G router repeatedly crashes

I have a Win XP SP3 desktop that is wired (not wireless) to WRT54G router (v 3.0 router with latest firmware version 4.21.1).
The PC repeatedly freezes when I connect to internet using IE or Firefox and has to be re-booted using power button. The following are the 2 error messages from Event Viewer:
1) The AEGIS Protocol (IEEE 802.1x) v3.1.6.0 service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified - netevent.dll. Source of the error is Service Control Manager
2) The PCASp50 NDIS Protocol Driver service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified - netevent.dll. Source of the error is Service Control Manager.
Other details:
1) Vonage adapter also connected to router
2) This PC used to be connected to same router via a wireless-G adapter WUSB54G. That has been disconnected, Linksys software uninstalled and PC is now wired to router. The problem used to happen at that time also.
3) Router is setup with WPA-PSK security with TKIP and mode G-only.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am at my wit's end.

I also would like to suggest that you download and experiment with another browser, Google Chrome or Opera and see if they are affected also. Their installation may refresh or reload the missing dll's.

New Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 is not cooresponding

Recently updated to the Adobe Flash Player 11.5.502.110 and when tried to load images or use program that requires flash a new window prompts me back to the Adobe Flash Player download page. Tried several times, and then uninstalled and retried, even tried clearing all caches, history and retried downloading again and continue to have issue. Any other suggestion to get this back up and running?

FF16.0.2, after updating flash plugin to 11.5.502.110, all flash content went blank, reinstall dint work.

After updating my shockwave flash player to 11.5.502.110, the flash content on pages went white blank, i can still see the bounding box of the flash content, but they are all white blank. When i right click on the content, flash context menu is not showing up as usual.
tried uninstall (from windows control panel) and reinstall, didnt work.
OS: win7
Firefox : 16.0.2
Flash plugin : 11.5.502.110

Flash 9 r45 is way too old and a lot of Flash content won't work with such an old version. 
If you want to revert to an older Flash version then get the latest Flash 10.3 version that is still maintained with security updates

Movieclip.onEnterFrame is not longer triggered in flash player 11.5.502.110

Hi,
When I upgraded to Flash Player 11.5.502.110 today I found that none of my onEnterFrame event handler functions get triggered. Reverting to 11.4 I find that all is ok. Has anyone else experienced this?

This animated effect was working fine a couple of days back.. but for 3,4 days.. its only initialising and stops..
I loaded it src file in Adobe Flash that worked fine.. but when I loaded as offline version in google chrome that was bugged.. then I loaded in internet explere and firefox.. there it was working fine.. then i realise the issue.. the Flash player was updated..

Flash Player 11.5.502.110 freezes at 95% on OSX 10.8.2

Have tried installing Flash v. 11.5.502.110 numerous times on my Macbook Pro and each time it freezes at 95% and nothing. I have let it sit for over 8 hours and it is still stuck at 95%. I have used the flash manager to remove all instances of flash, completely disabled all anti-virus to no avail.
Any ideas?

I have exactly the same issue, no clues yet. I'm afraid I'll just have to do as suggested by Firefox's plugin check page (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/) and disable Flash until Adobe sorts it out.

Cannot print to Lexmark PS Printer, from MacOS 10.4.11 or Win XP SP3

Since upgrading to Reader 8.1.2, neither my MacOS 10.4.11 nor my Win XP SP3 system will print from Reader to my Lexmark Optra printer, installed on the network (using postscript drivers).
It appears that the print job is being sent to the printer -- it starts up and whirrs for some little while, but no paper emerges. The status window shows "Busy". This is normal behavior for this printer -- except that it usually prints something.
All other applications on both the Mac and the PC print ok. And I can print from the full version of Acrobat 5.x installed on the PC. The only application that won't print to the Lexmark Optra is Reader 8.x.
I can print to an HP C3180 Photosmart printer, plugged directly into the Mac's USB port.
What's up with this? Did Adobe end up corrupting the print output, so that it's unreadable by the printer?

I've never heard about resetting the printing system on the Mac -- when I opened the Print & FAX icon in System Preferences, I don't see anything about reset -- are you suggesting I delete the Lexmark printer and re-add it?
In regards to the installation of Acrobat 5.x and Reader 8.1.2 on the same WinXP system -- that's on a physically separate PC -- not emulation on the Mac. And I installed Reader 8.x in order to take advantage of some newer PDF documents that require something more recent that 5.x.
And ultimately, on both systems .... what's up with the inability to print to the Lexmark printer, when every other application prints successfully. And, by the way, there is also an HP C3100 printer attached to the Mac via a USB cable ... and Reader 8.1.2 prints to it.
The lexmark optra printer is connected directly to the network here, and all of the PCs and the Mac (only 1) can print to the networked printer without problems -- except for Reader 8.x.
If you're suggesting I reset printers because of a known issue, I'd appreciate hearing the whole story before I start uninstalling and reinstalling printers.

Photoshop 7 Fails to Install WIN XP SP3

Hi: I can not get a new in the box version of PS 7 to install on WIN XP SP3. Using D:\Photoshop\Setup.exe sometimes nothing happens, then 10 minutes later the opening screen shows up, click NEXT, then accept the T&Cs, then the progress bar shows no progress. <CTRL><ALT><DEL> shows not responding. There are a couple of FAQs relating to permissions. This computer has a single user and in Control Panel - User Accounts - this account is the administrator. not alone, unless the problem was with a component instead of an installer confusion in the temp folder.

I usually leave mine alone too- well every now and then. just delete all the files from them you can (c:\docs & settings\user\local settings\temp, c:\temp, c:\windows\temp)
usually there's no problem but occasionally an installer will leave part of itself in temp where by odd coincidence (or not so odd, because there are relatively few install apps that systems use - wise and install shield probably 2 of the most used) has a file that's got the same name as one the new installer expects. so it starts reading from that one instead. now the whole install gets screwy.

yes, me too. saves time when troubleshooting and the app that fails to install keeps deleting the install files! :)

oh, i misunderstood. i thought you were advocating KEEPING that new admin user as the main user. that's what i mean is a pita having to move settings over from the old acct. to the new one... i guess that CAN work, sometimes, but not always. some apps (not sure if photoshop is among them) want you to install under the user account that will be running it.
just another tool to keep in the arsenal... :)

MSI K9A2 platinum + Win XP sp3: hardware device yellow question mark

Hi; I finally got a working system (MSIk9a2 plat mobo was defective, many days wasted):
9ka2 plat with amd 9850 BE
bios 1.5
2x1Gb 1066 OC
WD velociraptor with OS Win XP sp3,
2x ATI 4850 in X-fire
all latest drivers from MSI website downloaded and installed
...but I still have a yellow questionmark for a RAID-controller (situated in "PCI-slot 9, bus 3, device 0, function 0"). No driver on the original cd that came in the box would help, nor would the drivers I downloaded from MSI for this mobo make a change to this yellow questionmark. I did for sure install the SB600 raid drivers, because under "SCSI and RAID controllers" it shows that the AMD AHCI compatible raid-controller and the AMD RAID console have been correctly installed).
I suspect this issue is about the Promise raid controller chip, but I cannot find the driver.
