Wiping a PIN lock off a Samsung Rugby 4 Cell Phone

I desperately need to find out how to remove a PIN lock password on a Samsung Rugby 4 phone. An invader coming into my home at night has a way of changing the PIN password or simply installing one after the phone is wiped for $60 at Cell Phone Repair Co. It's getting very expensive to keep wiping the phone and therefore I'm asking if there's anyway to do it myself... Thank-you, in advance, for any help I get on this matter!!!

Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions.

Unlocked for what purpose? To use on another network? Sorry, but no. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will have the 700 MHz frequency already unlocked from the factory, but it won't do you any good as Verizon Wireless is the only carrier I know using that frequency band. The rest of the phone can't be unlocked for use on other networks.

Photoshop 6 locked up while trying to upload cell phone pic...need help!!!!

I tried to upload 97 pictures from my cell phone to photoshop elements 6 on my computer. The first 31 uploaded then photoshop became locked up and I can't do anything with it. I went back through my camera and turns out there were 2 videos of my daughter riding her bike for the first time that come right after picture 31..This has apparently caused the lockup but I don't know what to do. The adobe phone line help support guy had no idea either and said he could'nt support 6.o anyway and sent me to this forum he said was run my adobe photoshop engineers who could help me. I was able to upload all 97 pix plus the two short videos to a windows viewer on my comupter and have deleted the videos off my cameras memory card. When I tried to upload the 97 pix again to photoshop 6.0 it locks up and says these pix already exist in photoshop. I'm very technologically challenged and haven't backed up the pictures on my photoshop in a couple years (Yes..I know..not smart!) So, can one please tell me how to fix this problem? Did you manage to find a solution for this? We are in NZ and having the same issue across out network of agency computers... Our IT supports answer is to overhaul the machines (at a huge cost!) but we're not even sure this is going to work... a bit ridiculous that you pay for a product you can't use properly and then have to pay for someone to fix it, which even then, might not work!
If you haven't found a solution, we did find a way around the vaildation for Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Bridge. At the validation screen if you click on the text to sign in as another user, it takes you to another screen. Resign in as the same user (yourself) and then it should let you access these programmes. Although you have to do it everytime you open it. Unfortunately we can't get it to work at all for Acrobat, it lasts about 2 seconds and then automatically quits.

Address Book vCards via Bluetooth to Samsung a900 "Blade" cell phone

I'm able to export Address Book contacts as vCards and then import them into one of the new Samsung a900 "Blade" Sprint phones using Bluetooth, but with a couple of vexing problems.
1. I should clarify that I can import vCards into the new "Blade" cell phone from Address Book via Bluetooth, but only by dragging one card at a time, a very tedious process. Unfortunately, no data transfer occurs if I select multiple cards and drag them all at the same time. I'm using OS X (v10.4.2). Perhaps v10.4.4 and/or a more current AddressBook update will make a difference, or perhaps the problems are solely at the Samsung end...
After activating the paired phone and then launching Apple's Bluetooth File Transfer Utility, I'm dragging the vCards onto the OS X dock icon...
But before I do this, the "No Name" problem is forcing me to manually enter the Company Name into Address Book's last name field for every card that has no personal first/last name. Again, this is necessary just to get the Samsung a900's internal phone book to display something useful for these records (besides listing each record as "No name").
2. When the phone software sees an entry with a Company Name only (but no First/Last Name entered), it goes brain dead and lists each entry as "No Name" instead of ignoring the empty Name fields and simply listing the Company Name. This is an age-old problem with dumb cell phone software (my previous Sanyo phone did this too). Unfortunately, Address Book exporting is useless without fixing this...Is there a way to get Address Book to format exported vCards to compensate for this shortcoming in the Phone interface?
More info on this phone and Macs is posted on an a900-Mac thread in the Samsung discussion at www.sprintusers.com. The "Blade" is Samsung's new model that copies the look-and-feel of the popular Motorola RAZR, and it is a very nice, if not entirely original, design, and a very hot phone at Sprint right now. It does have a few bugs, but some already have been addressed with a firmware update from Samsung. It's only been out since late November or early December of 2005.

All metioned problems are Samsung's fault. Blame them.
I've been assuming it was a Samsung problem, and have posted help requests in cell phone forums that Samsung engineers and/or support allegedly reads. I was hoping there might be some way to automate a workaround from the computer end...
Now, if Address Book had an option to define the fields that are to be exported or perhaps automatically sub Company Names for last names the problem would be solved when exporting for cell phones. I can't belive no one has ever encountered this before -- it has been a problem with every cell phone I have ever owned.

Use "find my iPhone" despite pin lock

I lost my phone at a big party during the weekend. Now I would like to use "find my iphone" to locate it. Unfortunaly I have a pin lock, so if someone finds it, charges it, and starts it, it still wont go online so I can see it on the map.
Does anyone have any tip on what to do?

Anyone can restore the iPhone as new, which wipes everything off it and restores it to new-out-of-the-box settings. At that point, there is nothing you can do to track it.
Note that the suggestion to blacklist your IMEI is up to your provider. In the USA, no cell service provider will blacklist an IMEI number - that is just not something they offer. Nor will they be willing to track a device on their network, at least not without a court order to do so.
About all you can do is contact your provider and be sure your account is cancelled so you have done your due diligence in informing them of the loss/theft of the device. You can file a police report, which may allow you to make a claim on any insurance coverage you may have (home owners coverage, renters, whatever type you have).

Yes, you can. You can configure the Side Switch (above the volume button) either as Mute switch or Rotation lock.
Settings > General > Use Side Switch to: choose what you like the Side Switch to function as.

Is there an App to Manually, Fully Pin-Lock Screen?

I always carry my phone in my pocket and the default drag-to-unlock screen isn't cutting it (answering calls in my pocket, unlocking itself). However, I don't want to always have to enter a pin to unlock my phone, only when I'm going to be biking with it in my pocket (which is at least twice a day). What I would like to see is an app that I can put on my taskbar that I could press once to put the phone in a true locked state that requires a password to unlock. I don't want it to be able to answer calls and I don't want it accidentally dialing emergency numbers either (this isn't a problem if the app allows sliding out the keyboard to access emergency numbers without a password). After the password has been entered, the app doesn't lock the screen again until it is manually loaded.
Unless I'm missing something, the default screen locking options on the Veer (currently running webOS 2.1.2) can not be used in this way. Every time I want to turn the pin lock back on, I have to load the app, scroll down to the locking section, enter a pin to use, and then reenter the pin to use, which of course is way more time-consuming than just hitting a single button that retains your password.
I know the seemingly obvious solution is to face the screen out in my pocket instead of toward my leg, but I've always put it screen-side facing in to protect the screen since I don't use a case. An ideal solution for me would be an app-based one.

If your Mac was locked with Find My Mac, you'll have to take it to an Apple store or authorized service provider to have it unlocked. You will need to bring the necessary paperwork to prove that it is yours. From http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4006:

How to mask out unwanted objects in locked-off shots in Prem Pro CS5.5

I have Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection.
I am editing a short film on Prem Pro and on some of the locked-off shots where the camera doesn't move there are objects in shot, such as boom mic, that I want to get rid of by painting over them with what would be in the background (either by taking similar background from background nearby or by taking the background before/after the object moves into shot).
I have no idea how to go about this or what software to use. Should/could I do it all in just Prem Pro or would it need to be done in After Effects and or Photoshop or a combination of some or all of these.
If someone could point me in the right direction or recommend an article/articles or book to read to learn how to achieve this then that would be great.

I have attached JPGs from 3 clips.
Clip one had the mic visible to the left at the bottom of the shot and also at time the woman's leg goes behind it (example b)
Clip two has a computer monitor just visible through the door at the bottom left corner of the shot.
Clip three, set in park, has a crew member's coat-tie flapping in and out of shot. Example A without it in shot and example B with it in shot.
Help on how to deal with these or advice on books to read to help would be much appreciated.

How do I get this lock off of my screen that displays on the left of my battery?

I'm guessing that the icon shows a padlock with a circular arrow around it. That is orientation lock - prevents the screen from rotating. To switch it off - go to Control Centre (swipe up from bottom of screen) and press the icon in that screen. Close Control Centre by swiping it down

You will need to establish an account with whoever the phone is locked with and restore it. Or you will not to unofficially unlock it again.
