Wirelees LAN adapter for samsung TV

How can i get my Airport to see my LAN adapter?

The TV is wirelessly connected right now, correct? Are you setting up your TV using a static IP?
I’d suggest leaving all the network settings at auto, so that it picks up everything from the router, unless there’s a particular reason that you need to set it up with a fixed IP.
Would you happen to know the IP address of your router?
If you don’t, you can find it by checking the router information under Router Settings in the Cisco Connect software.
If you post that information, I can tell you what information you would need to put in for the static IP.
Also, the TV would ask you for the wireless network password, which is again something you can get from Cisco Connect.

have you searched the forums? There are a bunch of threads on the ath9k module not working correctly with the latest kernel.
That's why it works in the live cd environment but stops working once you update and login to your actual installation.

  • HT4381 is there any way to find an adapter for apple tv and Samsung tv with wise link?

Where can I find an adapter for my apple tv and Samsung TV with only a wise link input?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    DVI
Some users with DVI have managed to get their TV's to work with DVI-HDMI cables. DVI carries no audio, so alternative connections need to be explored to enable audio. DVI doesn't necessarily support HDCP as well as other standards used by HDMI (which may or may not be an issue)
    Analogue
There are hardware converters that will convert HDMI to various other types of output, however there are some issues with doing so that you should be aware of.
    HDCP
HDCP compliant converters will not allow you to watch HDCP protected content such as that from the iTunes Store. Non compliant converters exist but we cannot discuss them under the Terms of Use for these communities.
    Resolution and aspect ratio
I'm not aware of any converters that will scale the output from the Apple TV, any TV or projector which is used will need to be widescreen and support resolutions of 720p (Apple TV 2), 720p/1080p (Apple TV 3)

Hi pajyn, welcome to the HP Forums. It doesn't appear as though HP offers Windows 7 drivers for your notebook.

  • Using My N73's Bluetooth connection as adapter for...

    Hey guys,
This is not a question that can be put into one sentence...
I shall put it as short and descriptive as possible.
I can connect my laptop to the internet using the Built-in Modem I have in my laptop (Dial-Up).
My brothers laptop is new, He does not have a Modem built in and I do not have any other hardware here.
I was thinking, Is it possible to Have the following setup
Dial-Up -> Laptops Modem -> N73's Bluetooth connection -> Brothers Bluetooth connection (on his laptop) -> Internet.
So actualy making a Networking Bridge from My Laptops Modem to the Bluetooth of my N73.
(I could maybe buy a Lan Cable somewhere here and make a Networking Bridge between the Modem and the Lan port, but only if this is not possible whatsoever.)
    Thanks In Advance...

This has been a while, and I am back home now.
What I ment is what I said, I never mentioned my laptop having a Bluetooth connection nor using my telephone as a modem. I said that I wanted to use my Laptop as Modem and my brothers laptop as the client connection through bluetooth to my telephone wich in his way would be just a bluetooth adapter for my laptop. Now I figured that out myself and I had Dial-Up Internet on both laptops.
Since It worked I am going to ask another question hoping that you guys will just say I don't know instead of It's not possible.
How do I configure my N73 to become my laptops Bluetooth Adapter so I can connect any bluetooth device to my laptop.
(saves me 20 euros, but that is not the point)

hsma Hot Standby MAC Address parameters
Thanks in advance for any information

    Hi,
I have attached a document describing what hsma is all about in more detail, including sample configurations.
In very simple words. It is a mechanism, a little bit like hsrp, to allow to cip's to backup each other. You configure a virtual adapter which is always only active on one of the two cip's and they monitor each other. If one cip goes down, the other one takes over and activates the virtual adapter.
When the two cip routers were connected to a tokenring infrastructure than the redundancy whas achived by using the same mac address on the cip's reachable over to different source bridged path using different rif's.
If you connect the two cip routers via a ethernet than there is no rif field in your packets anymore, you can not do source bridging. Additional the cam table of a ethernet switch can not deal with two times the same mac address on different ports in the same vlan.
Hsma allows for a similar level of redundancy if your cip routers are connected via a ethernet backbone.
    thanks...

My hard disk is detected by the Bios but when i tried to install an operating system "WXP Pro" from a Bootable CD, the installation didn't start.
Here i described how the page looked like so can anyone help me!!!

    Hi Adam,
Firstly, check that you BIOS is set to boot from the correct devices (normally FDD - HDD - CD-ROM - LAN). The error that you are getting indicates that the BIOS has tried to boot from the LAN which would normally mean that the HDD has no useable operating system installed or that the MBR is corrupt.
If you can boot from the Windows XP installation CD but cannot then install the system to your hard drive, then it is likely that your hard drive itself is faulty and will need to be replaced. Try to boot from the windows CD and start the recovery console so that you can check the hard drive for errors.
    regards,

    Hello,
I have not used a ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Type 3444-F9U) myself, but here is the configuration of the machine as it originally shipped:
    i7-3667U(3.2GHz), 8GB RAM, 180GB Solid State Drive, 14in 1600x900 LCD, Intel HD Graphics, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure Chip, 4c Li-Ion, Win7 Pro 64
According to the Detailed Specifications page for this model, the unit shipped with an Intel Centrino® Advanced-N 6205S, 2×2 wireless card, and from looking the Drivers and Software page, it uses a USB 2.0 Ethernet adapter.
Here are the various drivers for Windows 7 (x86) that I was able to locate for this model:
    Intel Chipset Support Software v9.2.0.1021
ThinkPad Bluetooth with EDR Software v6.5.1.4500
Lenovo USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter Software v5.12.9
Intel Wireless LAN Driver Software v17.0.5
I would suggest starting with the Intel Chipset software first.  The order of the ofther software packages should not make much difference.
Also, make sure the Wireless Radio Swich located on the Left Side of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is enabled before installing the Bluetooth and WLAN drivers.
One thing you might want to keep in mind is that with a 32-bit version of Windows, the operating system will only provide access to between ~3.2 and 3.5GB of the installed 8GB of RAM.  With the 64-bit version of Windows 7 that came with the unit, you will have access to the full 8GB.

    Cisco broadens WLAN offerings
    By John Cox
    Network World Fusion, 11/12/03
Cisco Wednesday will announce a series of products and product
improvements to bolster its wireless LAN offerings, including
additional software that shifts WLAN features into other parts
    of the corporate net.
The announcement will include, according to a source familiar
    with Cisco's plans:
    * Cisco's first 54M bit/sec 802.11g radios for its access
    points.
    * A new client adapter card that can work with 802.11a, 11b, or
    11g access points.
    * A new version of its IOS network operating system, adapted for
the model 1100 and 1200 access points.
    * A new software version for the CiscoWorks Wireless LAN
Solutions Engine, which is a server for administering access
    points.
Last June, Cisco unveiled a WLAN strategy called Structured
Wireless-Aware Network (SWAN). The idea behind SWAN is to
distribute WLAN functions to various devices in the net, as
appropriate. Cisco officials say some functions are best done on
access points, and the adaptation of IOS for these devices makes
them highly programmable, and visible to other Cisco network
resources, such as network management and network security
    products.
Other functions have been shifted to the Wireless LAN Solutions
Engine (WLSE or "willsee" to insiders). Still others will be
shifted gradually to Cisco's wireline switches and routers, as
IOS is updated. The first release of "wireless aware" IOS will
be sometime in 2004, Cisco said.
