Wireless 5ghz hp laserjet pro 1415fnw

Hello,
Can someone please tell me if my printer can also find a 5Ghz netwerk instead of a 2,4Ghz. First i had a 2,4 Ghz network we can print wireless but now with the new router i can not find the network..

Hi,
It supports 2.4GHz. Give your router to broadcasr BOTH bands (5GHz and 2.4GHz) then it will pick up.
Regards.

  • Unable to Print Wireless anymore HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M251nw

I've owned my extremely good HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M251nw for around 10 months now but all of a sudden it has stopped printing wireless. If I print via a USB it works fine. I have downloaded new drivers and Firmware, done numerious restarts on both mac/pcs and printer but this still hasn't fixed the issue. I have run a number of Network Tests and all are coming back OK. When I try to configure the machine using the Online Printer Utility it cannt connect to my network (even though the self diagnostic test on pritner tells me everything is OK. I am running  a mixture of both Mac and PC's and cant print from any of my devices. Bonjour print is enabled on the pritner but i cant see a bonjour IP address on my Mac.
Printer is still under warrenty but obviously feel that this is a last resort.

    Hi @bluemango,
I see by your post that the printer stopped working over the wireless network. I can help you with this.
Restore the network defaults on the printer.
Go to setup, network setup, restore defaults.
Power cycle the router and computers.
Then run the wireless setup on the printer.
Go to setup, network setup, wireless menu, wireless setup wizard.
Print off a configuration page, to make sure the printer has a valid IP address.
Printing a Configuration Report. Print the report from the printer's control panel.
If you have a valid IP address for the printer then try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
Type the IP address into your web browser's address bar. (Internet Explorer or Safari)
If it loads the printer's network page then the printer is on the network.
On the Mac, try and add the printer through Printers and Scanners or run the installation.
On the Windows computer, run the add printer wizard through the printers window or run the installation.

  • Wireless Scanning in Laserjet Pro MFP M128

    Wireless Scanning feature not working

    Hello @sanjay_rnc,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I would like to assist you today with resolving the wireless scan issue that you're experiencing when trying to scan from your Windows 8.1 computer to your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M128 Printer. Now, you indicate that you're using the Laserjet m128 printer. Just to clarify, are you using the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M128fw or the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M128fn (What's my Model Number)?  The reason I ask is because the LaserJet Pro MFP M128fw is wireless. However, the LaserJet Pro MFP M128fn is not.
Once you confirm that your LaserJet Pro MFP M128 is the wireless version, can I please have you start by running the HP Print and Scan Doctor on your computer. This Tool will run on your computer and 'fix scanning' issues for you. Should any driver, connection, or software conflict be found, then the HP Print and Scan Doctor Tool will attempt to resolve those conflicts for you.
    HP Print and Scan Doctor
Please respond to this post with the result of the HP Print and Scan Doctor. Should your wireless scanning issue still occur, please elaborate on exactly what occurs when you attempt to scan and if you get any errors. I look forward to hearing from you!

  • Firmware Update HP Laserjet Pro 1415fnw

I successfully updated my firmware to V 20131028 using the PCL6 firmware version. However the utility offers besides this printer "LJ 1410 series PCL 6" also an update for "LJ 1410 series fax". I use fax heavily and want to ask if I need to run this additionally or if this is included in the PCL 6 version? Also, what is this fax version for in case the fax was included in PCL6 version?
Thanks and a Happy New Year!
    Best,
    Karsten

    Hi KarstenT
I understand you want to know about the firmware update.
The firmware update fixes different things, sometimes fax issues also.
You just select the printer to update. Here is the list of the Fix/Enhancement for the update you made.
You can check occasionally online to see if there are any new ones available.
HP LaserJet Pro CM1410 Series Firmware Enhancements and Fix List
This firmware update includes the following enhancements and fixes:
Improved AirPrint printing to avoid a potential 49 error and to better resolve printer's hostname over IPv6 connections.
Improved network stability to avoid printer crash when handling certain types of WS-Discovery messages.
Added DHCP option 60 which will show the Vendor Class Identifier as "Hewlett-Packard LaserJet".
Fixed and issue where the printer may become unresponsive or fail to print internal pages after a failed attempt to retrieve HP Web Services information. Retrieval of Web Services information typically happens at boot up and may fail due to network/internet connection issues.
Fixed an issue where an incorrect status could be returned from the "@PJL INFO STATUS" command.
    Hope this helps.

  • EPrint stopped working for HP LaserJet Pro 1415fnw

We had ePrint set up on our HP 1415fnw and today, the printer is no longer set up under my ePrint login and we cannot ePrint using the email address we had.
    I have:
    1. Reset the printer to factory defaults and set up wireless network printing again. We have set the IP manually and the printer prints just fine wirelessly.
    2. Installed the new firmware for the 1415
    3. Installed updated printer drivers.
    4. Powercycled the wifi-router and the Internet router.
I go to the HP Web Services tab and click "Connect" and I get "connection error. Make sure you are connected to the Internet."
The PC and printer are all connected and working fine on our wireless network. There are no ports blocked that we are aware of via our ISP.
As I said, it worked fine up until a while ago.
    I am open to suggestions...

2Expected availability late 2010. Requires an Internet connection to the printer. Feature works with any Internet- and e-mail-capable device and may require a firmware upgrade. For details, http://www.hp.com/go/ePrintCenter.

  • Wireless connecting for laserjet Pro P1102W

I have a mac - no problem setting up the printer but I can't seem to connect the wireless component.  I have gone into the systems and opened up printer - utility - everything is good but it won't let me put in the encrypted password for my network.

Welcome to the HP Forums dcfrk,
I see by your post that you are unable to setup the printer on the wireless network.
I can help you with this.
If the issue is that the HTML won't load, please follow these steps for 10.8 or lower:
Make sure Safari is set as the default browser. (sometimes the EWS won't open if it isn't set as the default)
Open Safari, across the top select the Safari menu, select Preferences, General, set as default.
    Close out all applications.
You can access the HTML from this location:
On the Apple menu bar, click Go, computer, Mac Harddrive, library, printers, HP,Laserjet, P1100_P1560_P1600Series, open HTML config.
Go to the network tab, select wireless on the left side, select infrastructure, select network name, select the double
arrow button to move the network name over to the left side, fill in passwords, apply.
You should get a solid blue wireless light in about 1 minute.
Then go to the Apple, system preferences, print & scan, highlight the P1102w and click the minus at bottom left
corner to delete it, then disconnect USB cable, click the plus sign in bottom left corner and highlight the P1102w bonjour printer, beside Use: make sure it shows the proper printer name and not Airprint, (Airprint is a preinstalled Apple driver with basic functionality) click on the add button. You might have to click on the drop down to select your printer.
    Test the printer.

  • HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn - DNS issue, hundreds of UDP connections affects my router 100% CPU usage

    Hi all,
We've bought about ten pieces (HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fn), tested only one the other 9 are waiting for their time to be sent in our branch offices. The MFP works fine, no complains till later that day I noticed that our Mikrotik Router was struguling with high CPU usage, it took me some time to find the issue and it was the new bought MFP. Don't know why but it creates hundreds of UDP connections and almost 100% CPU usage goes to DNS service. As soon as I shutdown the MFP and delete all the connections everything goes back to normal. I've disabled almost all services (HP web service, Ipv6, SNMP, AirPrint, SLP, LPD, WS-Discovery, Bonjour), leaving only Ipv4 but without luck the issue persists. Here are some print screens confirming my saying:

On the HP website it clearly states that my printer (HP LaserJet Pro 300 color M351) DOES have a "wireless capability" ...

Is it a print server device? Is it a wireless usb adapter? What?
I have an urgent need to add this device to a small wirless network, but I can't figure oyt how to?

  • Hp laserjet Pro 200 M276nw won't consistently connect wirelessly with iMac

I'm on my second brand new hp laserjet Pro 200 M276nw in 3 days, it will not consistently connect wirelessly with my newly purchased (8days old) Apple refurbished 27" iMac on OSX 10.9, i7 chip & Fusion Drive.  The hp laserjet will sometimes connect wirelessly immediately after clicking "print" on the iMac, but about half the time it says "printer not connected" & takes 2-4 minutes (or longer) before the devices do connect. I've called hp support many times, they're reset various things via remote takeover of my iMac, the printer will work for a few of minutes but then the same problem returns. AppleCare made sure I have the
correct Airprint driver installed & also checked my settings, but says they don't know why this is occurring. I've also verified that our newer (6 months old) AT&T router is functioning correctly.
My older hp laserjet (CM1312nfi MFP) has worked flawlessly since 2009 via USB connection with my old iMac (still on Snow Leopard), I assumed it would continue with the new one, but there is no software update for Mavericks & the scanning feature won't operate on the new iMac. Hp says it is a discontinued model. The new hp laserjet is a successor model to the older one, they are both very similar except for the new wireless feature.
I can print fast & wirelessly from the new iMac via a different new hp inkjet printer (8600 series) here in the house. This inkjet printer is less than a month old, I installed it myself for a Windows laptop here, it has never malfunctioned.  Unfortunately it's upstairs & I do not like inkjet print quality, I need a good laserjet here in my office downstairs next to my iMac.

    HI there
Did you manage to sort this issue out - as I have exactly the same problem.
Lots of similarities as I also have an inkjet 8600 which works via USB and wirelessly no problems at all!
I always  buy HP printers as they are usually easy to set up - but this one is making me tear my hair out!
I've even upgraded to Yosemite and downloaded the new drivers from HP - no success.  The printer will print one page and then become unavailable.
I can print via USB or wireless direct - but not just via my wireless network which is what I want to do!
No responses posted - so assume no one has a fix.
    aaaargh!!!

  • HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw Wireless option is gone!!!

I have a HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw.  The blue lit wireless icon used to stay on steady and all was fine for quite a while, then the Blue icon would start flashing like it lost it connection to the wireless router.  I would just recycle the power on the printer and let it reboot.  Usually it would connect with the router again but, it's been getting worse lately.  I figured I would try to the latest firmware to the printer as maybe there was a clitch with the original firmware.........Well, now I get no blue wireless icon and the wireless menu disappeared from the touch screen.  I tried to access the wireless settings in the web browser, the program said "this product does not support wireless connectivity.......WHAT?!!!!!  I tried a "cold reset" on the printer to clear everything and still have no wireless option.  I suppose its going to stick with the same firmware that was last installed.  I did notice that the printer lists itself with an "N" at the end of the model # on any printed report instead of the "NW" its supposed to be.  I did download the printer firmware from the Pro 200 color MFP M276nw support page.  it's acting like it now has the firmware for the non-wireless version of this printer.   This is the firmware I used
    file name:
    M276_colorMFP_Series_FW_Update-20140521.exe [1/1, 14.32M]
.  Any Ideas how to fix this?  Seems like this is the wrong firmware for this printer.  Everything else appears to work ok.
    Bob

****UPDATE****  After running a few copies through the printer the wireless feature showed up again.  The printed reports started to show this printer with the "NW" at the end of the model number instead of just the "N".   After a few minutes it all went away again.  Seeing the correct model number show up for a few minutes made me believe the correct printer firmware is installed.  To make this a short story, I ordered the wireless PCA assy (Small internal wireless circuit board, HP part #1150-7940) and replaced it.  It's been working great for the past few days( since the board was replaced).   Apparently,  if the system does not see a working wireless board it defaults to the non-wireless model number and the wireless option disappears from the menu screen.  The other thing is there apparently is no fault code that covers this type of failure.....frustrating, to say the least.  I will update if this is not the fix but, it looks like I got it!
    Thanks!!!!!!!

  • HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw does not connect to wireless network

I recently upgraded my wireless network router. I had my HP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw connected to the old wireless network router. The SSID is password protected (WPA2)
I need to connect the printer to the new wireless network router. However, neither the control panel nor blue wireless connection button provide any way for me to do this. The manual has not walked through a way to do this.
There really needs to be a simple, no-nonsense way to just connect the printer to the wireless network. How do I connect this printer to a new wireless network?

    Hi @shakayumi ,
I see that you are having issues configuring the printer on the new router. I would like to help.
    Restore the printer's network defaults.
    Touch the Setup button. (wrench)
    Select Network Setup Menu.
    Then select Restore Defaults.
Print out a configuration report to make sure the IP address is 0.0.0.0 and the SSID is cleared.
    Printing a Configuration Report.
Here are the directions for setting up the printer through the Wireless Direct to configure the printer over the network as Infrastructure.
Turn the Wireless Direct on the printer.
On the printer touch the setup button, (wrench) then select network setup menu, select wireless menu, select wireless direct and turn it on.
On the computer, in the bottom right corner click on the wireless icon and select the printer from the list to connect to. Then open Internet Explorer and type in the IP address (192.168.223.1) for the printer in the address bar.
This will load the embedded web server for the printer.
Select the networking tab, wireless on the left hand side.
Fill out all your network information, select infrastructure, select your network name, put in password and type of encryption. Apply settings.
Click on the wireless icon and connect back to your network name.
Print out a configuration report to make sure the IP address is valid. (192... or 10....)
Now create a new port, this will save you the time, instead of uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
Go to Start, Devices and Printers, right click the printer, go to Printer Properties, select the Ports tab.
Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, then select New Port and follow the wizard.
Type in the proper IP address for the printer.
Make sure the printer is online.
    Test the printer.
If you are still having issues, then try this method:
If you have a Ethernet cable, connect it from the printer to the router.
Wait about a minute, print the configuration page to see if you get a IP address.
Then type the IP address into Internet Explorer's address bar to bring up the printer's web page.
Select the networking tab, wireless on the left hand side.
Fill out all your network information, select infrastructure, select your network name, put in password and type of encryption. Apply settings.
    Then disconnect the Ethernet cable.
Then wait a minute to see if you get a wireless light on the printer, print the configuration page and check the IP address again. Then type the IP address into Internet Explorer's address bar to bring up the printer's web page.
If the printer is back on the network, create a new port. Steps are listed above.
Make sure the printer is online.
    Try and print now.
