Wireless bandwidth limit and billing system
Hello ,
We want to rent the internet access service to the houses which are provided to employees. That's why we need bandwidth limit and billing system solution. There will be also a guest users in the network. Could you give me an idea , is it possible to do that with Cisco wireless LAN controller devices , if it is possible how can it be done ?
Kind Regards...
The WLC has no capabilities to either connect to a billing system or limit bandwidth to users depending on the users role. NAC Guest Server can do that for you, but it is pretty pricey. There are other 3rd party utilities out there that does HotSpot billing and bandwidth throttling. Wireless traffic from the WLC will flow into these server's or PC's depending on what you load the software on.
Just Google Hotspot or wireless billing:

Callmanager 6.0 and billing System with CDR
Please, I need help in this case.
The customer need to use a third party billing system for the CDR of Callmanger 6.0.
The problem that the database of the Callmanager not SQL like the previous versions.
The engineer that will install the billing system asked me for two ways to help to collect the data from CDR:
first: to know the path of the database so he can go through it and collect the data by himself using the billing system
OR
Second: the CDR sent a report with all details every 1 min. to the server of the billing system and he will deal with it.
please I tried many steps but it is failed.
So if any know how to do this??
thanks so muchHi Walid,
I found the solution of this case.
Just you will need a program to let your PC as a server and choose SFTP, not FTP.
You have to put in the program user name and password that you will use in the callmanager.
You will choose the path in the program any where you need.
Then turn on the SFTP server (the program) and stop any firewall that will close this port (SFTP port is 22)
Now we'll come to the important step, in the callmanager ,when you 'll add the the server billing system, it asks u to add the username and password ,add the same username and password u added in the sftp server .
In the path just put "\"
like that:
Directory path: \
that's it , and press add to see ...if it accept your add this means that it will work well
good luck -
I can't wireless mode . And the system shows the message Please helpmeet

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that you cannot print in wireless mode with your HP Deskjet F4580 on Mac OS X 10.10. I am sorry to hear this, but happy to look into this issue for you!
The HP Setup Assistant is only for an older version of Mac OS X. For Mac OS X 10.10, there is no full feature software and drivers for this printer. As shown in this guide, HP Printers - Installing a Mac Printer Driver Using Apple Software Update.
I would recommend to go through this post, Re: problems printing from iMac to 5520, by my colleague @Sunshyn2005. When you get to the printer installation go through this guide, HP Printers - Installing a Mac Printer Driver Using Apple Software Update.
Hope this helps!

Using wireless network with Real-Time system
Hi,
Has anyone tried to run a LabVIEW real time system communicating over a wireless network instead of wired Ethernet? Thanks.I would think that all you need to do is hook it up to a wireless access point and the system - whatever it is - wouldn't even know it was hooked up wirelessly...

My support system ensures that I don't look totally incompetent.
Proud to say that I've progressed beyond knowing just enough to be dangerous. I now know enough to know that I have no clue about anything at all. -
what is the steps to deauthoize computer for my account a i am getting message stating excededthe limit and i dont have the system in live which i authorized earlier
Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can log into your account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

Google Play and Bill my Telstra account
If you're a Telstra mobile customer with an Android device, you can now bill your Google Play purchases (such as apps, games, movies, books and even music) to your Telstra account. Or if you're on Telstra Pre-Paid you can pay for your Google Play purchases from your main account balance, providing you have sufficient funds available.
Charge an app to your Telstra bill or pay with your pre-paid recharge credit
You will firstly need to have a registered Google Play account. Then follow the below steps to successfully bill an app, movie, game, book or music to your Telstra account:
Step 1
Choose your app, book, movie, music or game
Step 2
Click Accept and Buy
Step 3
Select Bill my Telstra account
Step 4
Confirm your billing details
Step 5
Click Accept and Buy Once your payment has been authorised you can then open the app, game, movie, music or book
Note:To purchase via your Pre- Paid account you will need sufficient funds available from your main account balance to cover your purchase. You are not able to use your Bonus Cap Credit to purchase apps, books, movies, games or music.
Things you should know about 'bill my Telstra account
You can set your spend limit to $0 which will grey out the 'Bill my Telstra' account option. You will still be able to pay for items via credit card. You will need to call us on 13 22 00 to set up or change the spend limits.
Your 'Bill my Telstra account' is greyed out because the content that you are about to purchase has exceeded the limit for carrier billing which is set to $100. Please use a credit card to complete your purchase. Alternatively you can increase the per month limit by calling us on 125 111. This can be increased to $500 per month but has to be done in $100 increments. Pre-paid customers have a $500 per month content spend limit.
Your 'Bill my Telstra account' is greyed out when the content that you are about to purchase has exceeded the content spend limit for a one off' app, book, game, music or movie purchase using Bill my Telstra account as a payment option. This limit is set to $100 and can't be increased. If you want to purchase items over this amount you need to use a credit card.
You can set your 'Bill my Telstra account' for Google Play or other BigPond content services spend limit to $0. This will restrict the service from purchasing any app, movie, book, game, music or BigPond content service like AFL Live.
Google Play can identify you as a Telstra customer from your SIM card, so even if you bring your own device (BYO) to Telstra you'll still be able to access Bill my Telstra account.
Bill my Telstra account won't work outside of Australia. You can however use your credit card to purchase apps. Make sure you set up International Roaming before you leave Australia and or take up an International Roaming Data Pack. Pre-Paid customers international roaming is automatically activated.
Bill my Telstra account for Google Play content includes in-app purchases.
Free downloads or credit card transactions will not appear on your bill, only charges using 'Bill my Telstra account' or any chargeable Google play transactions will appear on your bill.
You can check your list of purchases within your Google Play account. An email receipt from Google Play with an Order Number should also be sent to you when you make a purchase. Otherwise you can check your Telstra unbilled data by contacting us on 125 111; you can also view Pre-Paid usage - however, while our systems update regularly, as data is coming in from third parties, you should not necessarily expect data to always appear in our systems on the same day.
Bill my Telstra account for Digital Content Services is only available on devices with a SIM (e.g. not T-Hub), so you should have PIN security set. You also have the option of setting Google Play to request a log in for every purchase attempt.
Things you should know about downloading apps and downloaded apps, including app refunds
If you are logged in with your Gmail, then all the content you have downloaded (both paid and free) can be transferred between devices.
If you are moving from Pre-paid and have excess credit, you can use the credit to purchase Google Apps and transfer them to your new device before you migrate off your pre-paid service. But remember you need to choose an Android device on the Telstra network.
Once an app is installed, customers may be required to pay for premium elements such as live streaming, live events, live traffic for Navigation, credits for gaming etc. These are in-app purchases. A paid purchase is an outright payment to purchase that app, and that happens upfront before downloading.
Bill my Telstra account is limited to transactions under $100 each. A lot of shopping apps are free to download and these apps usually allow you to purchase large price items via credit card, Pay Pal and other new payment technologies due to the large dollar amount.
You have 15 minutes to return an App you don't want after the transaction and download has completed. There is a refund button within the app and process you need to follow to return the app. You won't be charged as long as you return the app within 15 minutes. This only supports App, Book, Movie, Game or music purchases, not in-App purchases like AFL Live or NRL Live monthly subscriptions.
You need to contact the app developer first, which can be done via email within the App. If the app doesn't work for your Android device they are obliged to agree to refund the money. If they do agree to a refund, a process between the app developer, Google and Telstra will be triggered.
If the app developer rejects your request, you can contact Telstra directly by calling the customer care number on your Telstra bill and we will discuss options to refund your money. However, you must first contact the developer and provide proof they have rejected the claim.
Telstra processes refunds from Google weekly. If a refund was requested within a week of the customer's bill cycle, it may not appear until next month's bill cycle.
If there are multiple refunds in a month (e.g. for 2 games), the TOTAL refunds for the month will appear as ONE Google Play line item on the Telstra bill. This just appears as a generic 'Google Play' refund and does not name the individual items purchased. This is different to purchases which each appear as individual line items with the name of the item purchases.
Charging for Pre-paid is real time. If the application isn't up to standard and you return it you will have the recharge credit applied back to your account but only if you return it within 15 minutes It may take up to seven days for billing data to appear on your account but it should usually appear within 24 hours. Our systems update bill data every few hours.Google's advice is that billing data may come through in up to seven days but usually this happens within one day. Purchases made less than seven days before your bill cycle start date may not appear until the next month's bill.Re: Google Play and Bill my Telstra account

Both Credit Limit and L/C are not working in Sales Order
Dear All,
We are working on Export scenario where order are created based on L/C and Credit Limit. In my scenario both credit Limit and L/C check is not happening please suggest.
I have created a sales order with value is 1024.00 INR. (My Credit Price is 1024.00 INR)
Customer credit Limit is 50.00 INR. (In FD32)
My L/C value is 1000.00 INR (In VX11N).
I have Implemented Dynamic Check and Assigned L/C to Sales Order. During Order process system blocking the order through Dynamic check. As per the above value System should not block the order. But System blocking the order. When I check Header -> Billing -> Financial Document Log, System showing the value update error. Its comparing entire Netvalue of the Order(1024) with L/C value (1000). How it is possible.
My requirement is system should consider both Credit Limit and L/C value. Please suggest.
Thansk & RegardsNo reply received from any body. But there is limit to post the questions to post another one. I am closing this.
Thanks & Regards -
Sales order and Billing Should be Block as per Customer Payment Terms
When credit limit exceeded to limits As per their client requirement in sales order level credit check has done and it will save , when they trying to do Delivery it is not possible to proceed. With out changing the credit master record they want to release the sales order for special permission (VKM3)
same why i suggested the client when the payment term days exceeds how to block the customer?
Manual blocking the customer for specific sales area sales order level and billing document level . When the Payment terms exceeded . Infact I have checked with my colloegues Payment terms is transactional specific mainly used for some financial reporting example ageing report here when you look at the customer is not paid before the payment term days . you can go to VD05 block the customer.
this i have suggested , is any automically blocking the customer when the payemnt terms days exceeds ?Hi
Open item option in OVA8 will consider all the overdue items (irrespective of payment terms).
If the particular line item in FBL5N is falling overdue, it will be considered.
% mentioned there is OD/OS percentage, ie. overdue/outstanding %. ie. if you maintain 50% in the OVA8, if your overdue value is 1000 USD & total outstanding is 2000 USD, so your od/os % is 50%. The moment your OD value increases from 1000 to eg 1200USd, system will set a credit block.
Generally noDays open item can be kept blank
I hope it is clear to you
thanks -
Suspended wifi was unsuspended and bill is over $830!!! anyone else?
Suspended wifi was unsuspended and bill is over $830!!! anyone else?
i reported it stolen and somehow it was unsuspended. Shared data warnings queued me into looking at my $450+ data charges! when I suspended services again for the number the System indicated due to billing payment issues I waS UNABLE TO SUSPEND THE ACCOUNT!!! so whomever stole my device can still use it and Verizon is still charging my account for it...I have no proof I suspoended it when I first noticed it missing...seriously irritated. Has anyone else hd this problem????Reallyreallyangry1234,
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that your device was lost or stolen. I know how frustrating this experience can be, and I want to help clear the confusion.
If your equipment is lost or stolen, we provide a few great ways to suspend the service, and make sure that no extra usage charges occur. Log into My Verizon online and choose the "Suspend/Resume Service" link under the Quick Links under the Overview Page. You will then be guided through the steps to either Suspend or Resume your service. You can also dial *611 from your Verizon Wireless phone or 1-800-922-0204 from any phone and complete the task via our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. I hope this helps! Have a great day.
Thanks,

Hi experts,
We are not doing the pricing and billing in CRM.We are using legacy sysetm.
So while defining Item Categories do we have to select the Item is relevent for pricing and Billing or not .
Thanks
Madhuplease have a look at following resources
SQL Database Pricing Details
Azure SQL database accounts and billing
SQL Azure Server as a unit of billing
depending on the sql subscription you have you get charged a different rate (price for db size + usage )
Viewing Your Bill and Usage
You can access the usage details of Azure SQL Database accounts through system views on the Azure SQL Database server.
The sys.database_usage view
lists the number, type, and duration of databases on the server and the sys.bandwidth_usage view
describes the bandwidth used with each database. For more information, see the following topics: and.
sys.database_usage (Azure SQL Database)

RADIUS Bandwidth limit on guest WLAN
Hi Everyone,
I'm running a WLAN scenario which includes a WLC 5508 (7.0) and a bunch of CAPWAP access points. I just deployed a guest SSID that implements a RADIUS server (freeRadius) for authentication and accounting the guest users and everything works fine. However I need to limit the bandwidth on a per-user basis having different BW allocated on the users.
In other words:
SSID: "Guest-SSID" with web authentication
Users (download/upload bandwidth limit in kbps): user1 (512/512), user2 (1024/1024), user3 (512/2048)
When user1 connects, he will be able to download/upload at a 512 Kbps data rate, same as user2 with a d/u 1024 Kbps data rate. And user3 will be able to download at 512 Kbps and upload at 2048 Kbps. The 3 users will be connected on the same SSID: "Guest-SSID".
I've been searching and found that the WLC honors some Airespace attributes that may do the magic, however they are not documented anywhere else but the WLC Configuration Guide. I have modified the freeradius Airespace dictionary but when authenticating, when the RADIUS sends the accept message incluiding the attributes, the WLC shows attribute is considered as unknown, even though the conf. guide shows they must be supported.
I guess it may be caused by a wrong attribute name. Is there something else missing?
This is the WLC AAA debug detail:

Jonathan S.If you choose to create an entry on the RADIUS server for a guest user and enable RADIUS authentication for the WLAN on which web authentication is performed rather than adding a guest user to the local user database from the controller, you need to assign the QoS role on the RADIUS server itself. To do so, a “guest-role” Airespace attribute needs to be added on the RADIUS server with a datatype of “string” and a return value of “11.” This attribute is sent to the controller when authentication occurs. If a role with the name returned from the RADIUS server is found configured on the controller, the bandwidth associated to that role is enforced for the guest user after authentication completes successfully.

Cannot find Billing System Password to register for My Verizon account
I'm trying to register for a My Verizon account with my new business phone line, in hopes that I can see when my next bill will be due, or if it has already been sent, but I've not yet received it.
When I click to register for a My Verizon account, I am asked for my billing system password. I have never heard of this, though a search through these forums suggested that it might be the last four digits of my SSN. I tried inputting the last four digits of my SSN, the last four digits of my Tax ID number (as this is a business account), and even my Voicemail password. Nothing has been successful, and I am now alerted by the registration page that my account has been locked and I should contact Customer Service at 1-800-922-0204 to access my online account. Ironically, when I called this number, a voice-automated answering service asked for my billing system password again. After repeating the same entry attempts as I tried online (knowing they wouldn't work, but not having any other ideas), I was finally prompted that if I'd forgotten my billing system password, I should press 0 to speak with a representative. Pressing 0 brought forth another automated message, simply stating something along the lines of "Thank you for calling Verizon Wireless," and I was then promptly disconnected without the phone even ringing for a representative.
How do I go about finding my billing system password so that I can create a My Verizon account for this phone line?If this is a business line (part of a business account) you may have to get the billing pw from your employer. The billing pw is normally the last 4 of the account owner's SSN, which would be your employer, or the company's EIN #. Depending on how the account is set up, you may not be able to have an account for your number, but I'm not sure on that point.

Trouble with wireless switch (rfkill) and wireless connectivity.
Hello, this is my first message in this community so please bare with me if this message should be in the newbie part; but I think it's better fitted here. Other than that, I'm glad to be here .
After quite some time in Fedora I'm coming to Arch and I must say I'm delighted, so I wanted to use it in my laptop too which was running an old version of Fedora.
The laptop is an Airis N930 (about 5 years old) with a RaLink RT2500 wireless adapter which worked well in Fedora 11 but I'm having some trouble getting it to work in Arch. The problem is that the connectivity switch in this laptop is kind of a software one: in Windows it's compulsory to have a program which came in the drivers disk so that when that button is pressed (think of it as another key in the keyboard) the wireless connectivity is turned on and the indicator led lights up.
For a Linux based system there's no such program (I think) but the behaviour seems to be different in newer and older systems (I've tried Fedora and Ubuntu recent live environments and the behaviour is the same as in Arch). In Fedora 11 it just works everything's unblocked by default, in Arch the hardware block seems to be on and I don't know of any way to unblock it:
root@laptop ~ $ ifconfig wlan0 up
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not possible due to RF-kill
root@laptop ~ $ rfkill list
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: yes
root@laptop ~ $ rfkill event unblock phy0
1298671843.804446: idx 0 type 1 op 0 soft 0 hard 1
Pressing the wireless connectivity button doesn't produce any event... Does anyone know what can I try or how to remove the hard block? Could it be related to newer kernels?
Thank you very much for your time, any fixes, workarounds or ideas are welcomed.Thank you for your tips lamegaptop. I already have linux-firmware installed and I'm using the supported kernel module for the card (it's a PCI one):
06:01.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2500 802.11g (rev 01)
Loaded modules for it:
rt2500pci 12420 0
rt2x00pci 3890 1 rt2500pci
rt2x00lib 24866 2 rt2500pci,rt2x00pci
mac80211 178404 2 rt2x00pci,rt2x00lib
cfg80211 120337 2 rt2x00lib,mac80211
eeprom_93cx6 1004 1 rt2500pci
Rfkill is installed too, the output I posted in the first post belongs to the commands I entered in the Arch system. In Fedora rfkill always reports both blocks to be off.
As the Fedora system is running a 2.6.30.10 kernel I tried to run some tests using the LTS kernel (it's a 2.6.32.X right now) in the Archboot live environment, the output of "rfkill list" changed as seen below:
$ rfkill list
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
$ rfkill iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.

This behaviour was the same when running the default Arch kernel in Archboot. I'm thinking in extracting the kernel configuration from the Fedora kernel and use it to build a new one and see if it helps, although I'm not sure where the problem may be. -
Change sales order item price even if it is partially delivered and billed
Dear All,
I have make to order scenario in the industry where the material prices fluctuates a lot.
In make to order scenario, we sometimes gives the partial delivery to the customer. And once this takes place, the pricing of such items is gred out in sales order.
As the material prices fluctuates during downward flow, we need to somehow change the sales order price for that item as customer will pay the price according to current date which is less than the price in the sales order during first partial delivery quantity. But as piricing is gred out we no longer change the sales order price.
The major issue we are facing of credit management as it is getting credit block and we are no longer to proceed further. So kindly request to provide work around for this issue.
Regards
SagarHello Lakshmi,
Currently we are stuck at PGI due to credit management activation such that if credit limit is exceeded then system will not allow to do PGI thus VTFL wont be useful.
Also in such instance we are everytime changing the credit limit for such customer and once PGI and billing is done we again set the credit limit to appropriate value, which is not good workaround for end user.
Please provide good solution if possible.
Regards
