Wireless Bluetooth Speakers (TDK A33s) Won't Stay Paired to Windows 8.1 (Lenovo IdeaPad Y580)

Hello,
I recently acquired a pair of Bluetooth speakers (the TDK A33), and am unable to connect it to my PC. The Bluetooth interface sees the speakers, connects with
them for a few seconds when I try to pair, and then disconnects. The speakers connect to my phone just fine, so it's not the speakers (and TDK tech support hasn't exactly been very helpful).
I'm running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo IdeaPad Y580; I tried updating
my Bluetooth drivers, as a few sites recommended (pulling them from them Lenovo site), but still no dice. I've read a few things that seem to suggest is a
Windows 8.1 issue.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

you can also try to delete all Bluetooth profile, and test

Magic Mouse won't stay paired with booth Boot Camp and Windows 7

So I have a Broadcom Bluetooth 2.1 dongle on Mac Pro 1,1, Lion, Boot Camp 3.3 and Windows 7 latest service pack and latest drivers/operating system. Everything is up-to-date.
My problem started with Windows 7 not wanting to pair with mini alluminum keybord AND magic mouse. I followed a post somewhere and I was able to get the keyboard to pair and work when I switch between Lion and Bootcamp Windows 7 by removing it from Bluetooth Prefs in Lion, adding it to Windows 7 BC, and then adding it again in Lion.
However, magic mouse will still work with onlly one: If I add it to Windows 7 and then restart to Lion, add it there and then restart in Windows, it shows as paired in Windows but it does not respond. I then remove it from Windows 7 and add it again, and it works. Then I reboot in Lion. It is on the list, but not connected. Even the option to connect is not available. I try restarting the mouse, no luck. The only way I can get it to work in Lion again, is to remove it and add it again. Now, I go back to Windows 7, It is there on the list, but it does not respond. In short, the Magic Mouse only seems to want to stay paired (or work) with either Win 7 or Lion. Getting it to work with one cancels the other.
BTW, every time I pair it with Lion, I set it as a Favorite.
Any suggestions?

Some more info I have gleaned from my 13" white Core 2 Duo Macbook (not sure what generation - came with Tiger though). If I uninstall the Intel graphics drivers, the Sleep option is gone from Windows 7 but it will hibernate, and when resuming from hibernation the screen comes back on. However, when the Intel drivers are reinstalled the "screen off" problem is present for both hybernate and sleep. Two other data points: the power manager can't turn off the screen (after X minutes, etc) and I can't get any picture on an external monitor either. Just wanted to share.

I have the same problem. This problem has shown up and gone away many times over the last couple of years. Its the main reason that I rarely use iTunes.

HELP! My Extravert Bluetooth won't stay paired.

My Extravert paired easily with my car (Lexus IS350) and performed nicely for a week or 10 days, then suddenly balked. Now I get in my car and the screen says "Bluetooth connection unsuccessful." I've deleted the pairing from both devices and started over from scratch but now it won't pair at all.
The LG Forum (lgforum.com) shows the same complaint from all sorts of Lexus drivers (I haven't checked for other auto brands). None of us had any problems whatsoever with previous phones connecting to our Bluetooth. There seems to be a bug in the Extravert software that causes it to choke.
I need my phone to work with my car. This has already caused one scrape and a near-accident close call.
Two questions:
1. Can Verizon exert any pressure to make LG fix this in a timely manner?
2. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to jimmy it in the meantime?
I'd really appreciate some advice, other than the obvious "get rid of the phone." Thanks.

I definitely understand how important the bluetooth feature is. Since you have done the first step of deleting the pairing and repairing my next suggestion would be to complete a factory reset to the device. This will erase everything on the device so please back up prior. You can complete this reset by following the visuals here . After the reset please reprogram the device by dialing *228 send option 1. Once you pair the device please observe and share your results. Printer won't stay connected in Windows 8

I have Windows 8 Compaq laptop. I also have an HP ENVY 4501 e-All-in-One printer. I have had this problem with my last printer too, but now I am finally tired of it. Every time I close the lid to my laptop or the printer powers off/goes to sleep it disconnects from my laptop. So every time I go to print it tells me the printer is offline even though the printer is on, connected, and sitting right next to me. Then I have to go into the control panel, remove the printer, and re-install it. How can I get it to stay connected to my computer all the time?
(By the way, I have already tried leaving the printer on 24/7 and it still disconnects from my computer)

I removed my bluetooth speakers and now they cannot be paired again. any idea how to pair them again?

I bought new speakers that can be connecteed by bluetooth, i removed it once it paired and now it can no longer be found. I've switched both bluetooth on laptop and speakers off but it still does not find them. Any idea how to fix this? Thank you !

Conky won't stay below other windows...

I'm currently using conky with a conkyrc from my Ubuntu laptop which works quite well... Problem is, when Compiz is started, Conky suddently wants to stay on top of all other windows. Restarting conky fixes the problem, but I'd rather not restart conky everytime i login to the system... Anyone know how to fix this?
Also. Is there a way to add conky to compiz' widget-layer and still have it below all other windows? Basically, I want it on the desktop unless i hit a key, which makes it come on top of everything.

I have an Iphone 4s that won't stay paired to the Mercedes phone cradle for more than about a second or 2. How do I get it to stay connected please?

I have an Iphone 4s that I am trying to link with a Mercedes-Benz (the car has COMAND) cradle. It stays connected for a second or two and then disconnects. Any help or advice please?

Are you having problems connecting to other devices? If not, have you contacted your Mercedes dealership to discuss the issue? Have to checked to see if there's a firmware available for your Comand system? Have you deleted the pairing with your car and then re-paired?
What have you done to troubleshoot so far?

Hi,
With limited infortmation, it's hard to find the cause, What is the VPN client you're using? Built-in VPN program ot third party VPN client?
Have you checked the event viewer? Control Panel\Administrator Tool\Event Viewer, then expand to Windows log
System and Applications and Services\Microsoft\Windows\VPN-Client, see if there're some valuable information recorded.

G780 won't stay in current window

My laptop comes out of the current window - continually. I can be typing an email, and suddenly it de-selects the window, and typing doesn't result in anything. Or I can be scrolling through a webpage and suddenl;y the arrow keys have no effect.
It is not the keyboard - you can see that a window is no longer the active window. It has happened 5 times while typing this.
Laptop has just come back from another repair under warranty, where BIOS was reloaded. Would have thought that would have solved any problem like this?

It's most likely the sensitivity of the touchpad that's making you jump out of your current Window. It happened to me on a test laptop. After installing the touchpad drive and adjusted the palm check and touch sensitivity, the issue went away.
Can you check the following:
1. Go to Control Panel (large icon view) and click on Mouse. On the Mouse Properties, check if you have an ELAN or Device Settings Tab and adjust the settings accordingly

Adobe Reader XI won't stay open in Windows 7; Solutions don't work

My Adobe reader was working fine under Windows 7 and all of a sudden it stopped working. It opens, starts opening a file and before it finishes opening the file, it closes. I have unstalled Adobe Reader XI using the Adobe Cleaner Tool provided on the community board website and reinstalled it from the Adobe.com website. I also went to the eula.exe file and clicked accept which was a suggestion on the community board. Please help

Other things you could try...
Update Reader to 11.0.5
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
If you cannot open Reader by itself, try to disable Protected Mode in the registry; download, unzip, then run the attached registry script

Bug: cursor won't stay in edit window

(TLDR: Something about the Ajax used to implement Discussions causes the edit windows to lose focus. )
I'm having this problem using these support communities (discussions.apple.com) with Safari 5.1.7 over OS X 10.6.8.
I'm typing text (like right now in fact) and I am moving my cursor around with the arrow keys. Typically I'm at the start of a line. And then sometimes (well, often but not always) instead of moving up/down, it will LOSE FOCUS - that is, my cursor will no longer be inside the typing box anymore.
Suddenly, typing does nothing, and arrow keys make the page scroll up and down or "Browser Back" (navigate to previous web page)* ... which pops up a warning message that I'm about to leave the web page I'm editing text on.
It doesn't happen on other web sites AFIAK.
* who was the genius who came up with THAT shortcut key? I'm sure it made sense in 1994 when web pages were novel and nobody entered text in them, but now web browsers are app engines, and I bet the majority of all keyboarding is now done in web browsers.

Quit iPhoto and try deleting the iPhoto preference file. It is found at Home/Library/Preferences and is called com.apple.iPhoto.plist. Move it to the trash, launch iPhoto, and see if you can edit in the info pane. (You'll have to reset your preferences once in iPhoto.)

Wi-fi touch mouse x7000 will not stay paired on Windows 7 home premium 64-bit

Computer: HP Envy sleekbook/ultrabook 6t 1000
O/S: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Wifi type: Intel 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth + WIDI
Error message: none when attempting to pair
I received my HP Envy 6t two days ago and have started the process of loading software and devices. In addition to ordering the PC from hp.com, I also ordered the HP Wi-fi touch mouse x7000. After booting up the PC for the first time and walking through the Windows 7 set-up, I immediately installed the wi-fi mouse.
Upon initial install of the mouse with the provided install CD, I received an error message stating that one of the drivers was not digitally signed and that the version of windows installed did not support unsigned drivers and that the installed device may not work because the driver would not be used. I continued forward with the install and the mouse seemed to be in working order. I then decided to go out to the HP support website and download the latest Windows 7 64-bit driver for the mouse I had. I then ran through the install and the mouse still continued to work. At this point I had not yet rebooted the PC.
I then performed the following steps in the listed order:
- Installed HP Photosmart 4700 series printer with provided install CD and established a connection via wi-fi
- Installed MS Office 2010 SP1
- Started download of automatically identified Windows Updates that were related to the O/S and other installed Microsoft software
- In parallel with the Windows updates download, I installed the latest release of Symantec's Anti-Virus software and updated its software and virus definitions, this all finished prior to the Windows Updates being completely downloaded. I left the default settings as is for the Symantec Anti-Virus configuration.
- The Windows Updates then installed
- Rebooted the PC
After the reboot of the PC was completed, the mouse would not pair at all. I attempted several times where I would go into the HP mouse control and select configuration and then pairing. I would follow the instructions of pressing the connect button and the screen would then say it paired, but the O/S would not recognize it and the mouse would not move. Going back into the mouse control center it then also recognized it was not paired.
I then attempted to uninstall the mouse software and it would get to the point where it was "gathering information" and it showed a full status bar yet it just hung there. I would wait for 15 minutes and then hit cancel and it would still just hang there yet again. After 15 additional minutes of canceling I would just reboot the PC for which the mouse software was still installed but the mouse continued not to pair. I tried the uninstall process 3 times, each with a PC reboot as part of the process because it would just hang.
I am not sure if the install CD installs a 32-bit version of the mouse software and drivers. If so, perhaps I confused the registration of the product by installing the 64-bit driver I downloaded from HP support. I have attempted to install both the 64-bit driver and the 32-bit driver for Windows 7 that I downloaded from HP Support online in which the execution of the installation is successful with no errors. However the pairing continues not to work and the uninstall hangs.
In addition, after the PC bounce, my HP printer was no longer being recognized. Come to find out Symantec is blocking communication of the PC to the router and thus to the printer. So I disbled Symantec and the printer now works but the mouse still does not. I even rebooted the PC after disabling Symantec and attempted to pair, with Symantec still disabled after reboot, then attempted mouse driver re-installs, mouse software uninstalls and still no luck.
So I am at the point where I cannot uninstall the mouse via conventional means and the wi-fi mouse will not pair manually or automatically.
I have not yet circled back to performing another Winows Update check to see if there are any additional updates after the intial download of the ones mentioned earlier. I will plan to do that next time I am on the PC.

My new iphone 6 plus won't stay connected to the internet

I rebooted my phone, reset the internet connection several times, and rebooted my wireless router and it still won't stay connected. Now what?

Can you go to the wifi settings and select your network and "forget" that network? Are you on the latest update? What version of iOS are you using?

Not knowing which wireless keyboard you bought, it is difficult to be specific. but ...
it is quite normal for the keyboard's power light not to stay on - it is a way of conserving battery power.
Try this:
turn you keyboard off
on your iPad go to Settings > Bluetooth
if your keyboard is listed under Devices, then touch the little blue i to its right and choose Forget this Device
now reset your iPad: hold both the Home and Power buttons down for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, let go promptly when the Apple logo appears and wait another 30 seconds for your iPad to turn itself on
After your iPad is back on again go back to Settings > Bluetooth
now turn your keyboard back on and see if it appeard under Now Discoverable
if it doesn't read your keyboard guide to figure out how to put it into Discovery mode
touch the listing for your keyboard under Now Discoverable, it should now appear under Devices
touch the listing for you keyboard under Devices, and choose to pair with it.
