Wireless harddrive for iPad. Wrong format??

I just bought a wireless harddrive(seagate goflex satellite) and it says that its for iPads so I downloaded the app and when I go to play a movie from the harddrive it says the file format is not supported by my device. What is the correct format, and how do I change it??

Read the manual for the iPad to see which file formats it accepts. Then use a program like mpegstreamclip or handbrake to alter the format of your video file to one the ipad likes (handbrake is the easiest). You'll need to change the video format on a computer then get it onto the drive.

Your post is pretty lengthy and I have to admit I didn't read it all. Please try restarting in Safe Mode, if that doesn't work please do both a SMC and PRAM reset. These may take 2-3 attempts.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

What is a good, moderate priced wireless speaker for the ipad2?

The speaker I have—and love—isn't moderately priced. It's the Bose Soundlink Wireless Mobile (Bluetooth) speaker:

I love the sound quality, the form factor, the ease of use—everything about it. It's about $300 if you forgo the fancy covers.

Android Phone as Wireless drive for iPad Mini?

All file sharing application I found for iPad, need WiFi network to work. Is there a way to connect iPad with Android phone directly like with wireless drive. It is possible with Sandisk Connect or RavPower and many others Media Hubs so why not with Android Phone itself?

I have a multi-page animated book for iPad developed in Flash 6. Because of its length and to run more smoothly on an iPad, I’ve divided the pages into fifty separate documents –the last frame of each each page would load the next page, a back button would load the previous page. My question is: since an swf file or anything containing actionscript 3 coding cannot be imported or attached to a published flash document, does Adobe have a solution to this problem?

The complexity with this idea is the software has to run from a Mac computer on your network.. so you need a Mac turned on, probably most of the day.
It isn't possible to partition the TC although you can create a image area.
The software would have to copy the material, that means all files to be copied, go from USB drive, back to the Mac, then back to the TC, and written to the drive. In other words you have just added Network congestion, although a proper incremental backup type software will not actually use a lot of capacity.
Finally it will be slow.. network drives are slower than internal drives. Well USB connected drive is much slower than the same drive connected directly to the computer.. and if the drive is connected directly to a computer it can be shared with the network.

No. Once sn iOS version comes out that is not compatible with your hardware, you cannot, obviously, update iOS any longer. However, your iPad running the last release of iOS compatible with it will continue to run that iOS release at the same speed it always did.
Nothing about any computer ever slows down with age - your cpu, RAM and storage all function at the same speed as they always did. New software may add features that tax your system more than a newer system would be taxed, but nothing about your system changes just because the device ages.
At some point, our system simply is unable to update or run newer software because that newer or updated software requires hardware features that yours simply does not have. But your exisiting software on your existing hardware will continue to run just as it always has.
As to when your system becomse unable to handle new software or iOS features, that is purely a matter of how quickly newer hardware comes out and how quickly software developers move to new features that your system cannot handle.
There is no inherent reason to believe that an iPad 4 will not be compatible with the next release of iOS - it might not be, but it may very well be. Depends entirely on what changes the next release (whenever that may be) introduces, and what new device hardware Apple may be working on.

My experience with steaming with Apple products is done from iTunes, my music and video files from iTunes on my iMac or video from Apple Store. I sync photos and music from iTunes with iPhone, iPod Touch and AppleTV.

You can pair the keyboard to multiple devices. For example, my keyboard is paired to my Mac, iPad and iPhone.
You can only use the keyboard with one device at a time. This means you have to "disconnect" not "un-pair" the keyboard from a device before "connecting" it to another device.

Trying to use function keys (like windows) on apple wireless keyboard for ipad, as well as arrow keys.

I am connecting to my work PC through my ipad. My main program i use for work is a DAS based (ancient, i know.) Anyways, i have to be able to use function keys, i can touch the screen so if i can not it isn't the end of the world. But it would make things MUCH more easier. Is there a way to program the F1-F12 keys on the wireless keyboard to use like windows, rather than the brightness/volume/play buttons.
Also, my arrow keys don't seem to work right. If i am using notepad, they don't work, unless i have entered down 6 lines, the arrows will work as far as those 6 lines, but won't go down on there own. If i am on the internet and there is a drop down menu, the arrow keys don't work either. As well as in my work program, they don't work at all, it's as if the arrow keys don't register.

Just added information. In my work program, i can use the onscreen keyboard (but it takes up half the screen so i can not see what i am doing. From that keyboard, and can toggle back and forth from the regular keyboard, the FN screen for function keys, and the CTRL keyboard. This is why i am confused as to why the function keys and arrows will not work on the wireless, yet they have the keyboard on the screen.

Wireless mouse for Ipad

Can I use Apple's wireless mouse on the Ipad 2? I have connected my wireless bluetooth keyboard to my Ipad. I am not too sure whether Apple's wireless mouse can also be connected to the Ipad 2 as this will empower me to use the Ipad as a mini laptop.

It's not entirely semantics. The point is +there is no cursor+ for the mouse to control, even in text entry. There is an insertion point but, it's not the same thing. Most folks probably aren't going to see why the difference matters. What they want is to be able to control the insertion point with a mouse. Which is beyond me as well.

Setting up a wireless printer for iPad

I am trying to purchase a printer to print documents/email/ect. from my ipad using an app. I DO NOT own a computer at home, so I would need to set up the wireless printer on my network without needing a computer to do so. Is anyone aware of any printers that will allow this?
If not, are there any other ways to allow for printing form the iPad without using a computer as well (for example, a adapter or special cord)?

You can simply print from your ipad wirelessly without any kind of cables or Internet connections.
All you need is a simple router like “Tenda W150M Portable Wireless AP/Router (Microcenter: $34.99)” is a small device that can be powered right off of most printers USB ports. Then obviously connect any Wi-Fi ready printer and IPad to this “Tenda” router. No Internet service needed, you are using this for network connectivity purposes only. You now can be anywhere for ex: like in a car and be able to print from your IPad or iphone wirelessly, without any other needed connections.
