Wireless headphones? A2DP??

When is the iPhone firmware going to enable A2DP? I love watching TV episodes purchased on iTunes while working out, but some types of cardio make having wired headphones a huge problem.
I'd really like to wait a few months and get a firmware update, then buy bluetooth wireless headphones for less than $100, than go out now and pay almost twice that for iMuffs.
Is anyone here using wireless headphones with their iPhone? What do you have?

well, i can't help you in the headphones department. but i know a handful are solving the A2DP issue with this:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000XRW09Y/ref=ordcartshr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance
and i know it doesnt say its compatible with iphone, but if you check out the reviews, a lot of them are using it with iphone without issues.

  • How do i hook up Wireless headphones to ipod?

I just recently bought some wireless headphones (B-GO2 Bluetooth stereo active headset) but my ipod touch will not read them.  What do i need to do?

Does the headset support either the A2DP or Hand Free Profile (HFP) and are supported by the iPod?

  • What's the highest quality iphone 5 wireless headphone solution?

Is there a better solution than an aptx dongle on my iphone 5 paired with aptx headphones? the information out there is confusing, like apple supports AAC, bluetooth supports AAC, but is there such a thing as using AAC bluetooth with say spotify? or does it mean you can only stream an AAC file through bluetooth? basically all im trying to do is get the best quality i can with wireless headphones, and its worth noting i do almost exlusively use spotify on extreme quality which (they claim) is 320 kbit/s, so i dont need lossless, just something that will allow spotify to sound the best. Aptx seems like a good way to go but i'd rather not spend extra for the dongle and have to use that if theres a better option. Right now im using a pair of bluetooth headphones and a2dp, which is ok but theres still a noticeable difference in quality compared to the 3.5mm cord. (theyre syllable g15's).
So in summary, just need a wireless solution for wireless headphones with quality equal to or better than spotify, preferably with buying/using the least ammount of hardware possible. Thanks to all who read looking forward to answers!

You can use these movie and graphic formats in iDVD:
Most video or image files supported by QuickTime (see the list of unsupported QuickTime formats below).
    High definition video (HDV).
    16:9 widescreen formats.
AAC, MP3, and AIFF audio files.
MPEG-4 and iSight video imported as an iMovie HD movie.
High definition video that you add to your project is converted to work with the format of your project. iDVD supports using 16:9 widescreen video, so that when your DVD plays on a DVD player that supports widescreen format, the footage appears in its original aspect ratio.
The following video and image formats are NOT supported in iDVD:
    Copyrighted or protected videos.
Movies saved in thousands of colors using the "none" compression setting in iMovie.
48-bit color images (16 bits per color). To use source files in one of these formats in iDVD, save them in a supported format.
Aurora uncompressed files. For best results, export Aurora clips as DV-format video before importing them into iDVD.
QuickTime VR, MPEG-1 or MPEG-2, Flash, streaming or encrypted movies, or QuickTime spanned movies. You can't add MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 files to an iDVD project because they don't contain standard video tracks.
QuickTime Fast Start movies. (Fast Start movies are intended for Internet playback.) When saving a QuickTime movie for use with iDVD, click the Options button in the QuickTime Export dialog and make sure that the "Prepare for Internet Streaming" checkbox is not selected.
Note: You can add any file to the DVD-ROM portion of your DVD so viewers can copy the file onto another computer.

  • Wireless Headphones For Ipod touch 4g

    Hi,
I was wondering if you need an ipod adaptor to use wireless bluetooth headphones.
I have the new ipod touch 4g and i want to buy wireless headphones.
i was wondering, do i have to buy an adaptor .....since the ipod has bluetooth itself?
Also, what are the various things you can do with the bluetooth of an ipod touch 4g?
    Thanks for the help

Ipod touch supports bluetooth stereo headphones/speakers (A2DP) and some peer-to-peer apps.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
You do not need an adapter for stereo headsets ( A2DP).

  • Bluetooth wireless headphone battery replaceme

Could some one explain to a new user how to replace the battery on my Creative wireless headphones? Thanks!

Just for everyone on this forum, I understand the disappointment from Apple not enabling the A2DP/AVRCP for the S9. I purchased the TenTechnology NaviPlay for the iPod, which works fine although I get the error about incompatability and wanting t o switch to airplane mode. I first paired my S9 with the iPhone, then I had turned off the phone, then put the S9 into pairing mode again, and paired it to the NaviPlay. What you do is first turn on the phone, then the headset allowing it to connect, now you want to plug in your adapter for bluetooth sound, ignore the iphone error message. You will see that your headset is now both connected to the phone and the adapter. Goto iPod mode and start playing music. If this doesn't work for you, I'm sorry for your trouble, but I have no problems, and great sound quality from the S9 and even the controls work for both the phone and ipod mode.

I have no clue what that alphabet soup means.  Does the headphone support Bluetooth?

  • HT3310 what wireless headphones will work with a third generation ipod?

What wireless headphones will work with a third generation ipod classic?

The third generation iPod classic does not support BT.
If you meant the 3G iPod touch thenyou need a pair that supports:
    Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
    Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP)
    iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles

  • How do you hook up wireless headphones so you can listen to Apple TV and satellite

Currently I have a direct tv satellite receiver and an Apple TV box.  I'm trying to hook up sony wireless headphones so I can hear both of them.  I watch Netflix on the Apple TV and normal TV viewing on satellite.  I'd like to be able to toggle between the two, and for the life of I cannot figure it out how to wire it up.  I have no issues getting them to work on the satellite receiver, but it's a no go for the Apple TV.
I have two audio ports on the back of the TV (one red and one white - doesn't specify in or out) and one optical port.
I also have a port a 3.5mm jack could go into and it says "services"

  • Does the Ipod nano 6th gen capable of sending signal to headphones. Us older folks would like to use wireless headphones versus earphones with a wire.

Is the  ipod nano 6th gen capable of sending signal to wireless headphones. I am 57 and do not like earphones and wire. Would like to get the nano. I understand the iphone 4 can use wireless headphones, but i can not wear it on my wrist like a watch. Thank you. techie mawmaw.

What is your price range. I know exactly what you are talking about. I always used headphones while mowing and I used to runt he cord through my shirt to prevent it from getting caught on the steering controls of the mower but one day the cord came untucked form my pants pocket ripping the cord straight out of the headphone itself. They were nice Sennheisers to!
I ended up replacing them with these http://en-us.sennheiser.com/wireless-bluetooth-headset-headphone-smart-mobile-phone-stereo-mm-500-x they are pricey at 330 but will last you many years if they are taken care of. Sennheisers are excellent quality. Best Buy oddly doesnt carry the 500 series they have the 450 and 550 but not the 500. Completely ignore the Beats by Dr. Dre they are horrible for the price point they are!
The noise cancellation is great and they are very comfortable. Like you I dont care for earbuds as I have tried many and they all hurt my ears and on-ear style would eventually start hurting my outer ear but these are very comfy!

  • Iv upgraded to ios 6 on my iphone 4 and surprise surprise i can now no longer listen to music on my wireless headphones through bluetooth as it now jumps and loses signal just a metre or two away and especially if my hand is covering the top of the phone

Iv upgraded to ios 6 on my iphone4 and i can no longer listen to my bluetooth wireless headphones as the signal is now that poor it must be deemed in heaven cuz it no longer alive and kicking, i am not happy about this in the slightest infact its a ....... Liberty!! Iv spent lots of money on itunes for music and audiobooks and now i cant listen to them!!! Its definately not thr headphones the signal was fine with no problems at all before i updAted and now its a mockery.. Itsnot my headphones i have two sets still in the box tht i tested and its the same with them so sort it out apple

Okay, so I think I managed to fix this issue.  For anyone having the same problem, I learned that you don't have to have the same Apple ID for iTunes as you do for the other things on the phone---I didn't realize there were separate logins.  Helpful.
So I created an ID for my husband's phone.  I logged into iCloud and FaceTime with that account.  After doing so, the settings in Messages actually changed to look more like the ones I was seeing on my phone.  So I then logged into iMessage with his new account (that option to log in was not even showing before!).
The Apple ID for iTunes is still appearing as the shared one, so we can hopefully still have joint use of our purchased items.
We shall see if it works when it comes time to receive a message or download an already purchased app, but it's looking promising

  • How many sets of wireless headphones can I connect to my iPad at one time?

How many sets of wireless headphones can I connect to my iPad at one time?

Did you mean Bluetooth? One. Did you mean FM or infrared, driven from the 3.5mm output jack? Any number of them, assuming you use the same frequency to receive the stream.

  • Pairing Bravia KDL-50W829B with Wireless headphones (Sony BTN200)

Hi, Own the KDLW829 set and recently purchased a set of Sony wireless headphones. I am not sure if the bluetooth option is designed to work for headphones - I have tried pairing but haven't been successful and a google search did throw up the likelihood that the bluetooth support for this TV only works for mouse/keyboard devices. Can someone clarify? Thanks

    Hello jacksuarez7,
Greetings and thank you for your message. Based on the model you have provided KDL-50W829B, the only device supported for use with the Television is a Bluetooth mouse, it will allow you to register up to two units only.
In order to use your set of headphones it will be necessary to connect them directly to the Headphone / Audio out port available on the right rear side of your television and proceed changing the audio out setting to headphone as shown below:

  • Connecting wireless headphones to tablet

Please can someone help me! I got a new pair of Bluetooth/wireless headphones as a gift and was unable to successfully connect them to my device. It says its connected, I can play and pause a song through the headphones, but there is no sound. I know they are not broken because I was able to get them working with an android tablet. I called the headphone company, they walked me through the steps on how to connect them, and sill no luck. They are Jam Fusion headphones, model #HX-HP610 and my lenovo tablet model # A2107A-H. If someone could help, that would be great! Thanks!

Make sure the base unit is in the open.  Those headphones rely on line of sight to operate.

  • Can I use wireless headphones with my Sony model KDL 32L5000?

It is hard to hear voices well in some movies, I'd like some headphones but don't know if it is possible.
    Thank you.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Yes, it is possible to connect wireless headphones such as the Sony MDR-IF245RK to your KDL-32L5000 TV via the stereo mini plug cord. The single end of the said cord will go to AUDIO IN port on the headphone transmitter while the other ends of the cords will be connected to the AUDIO OUT of the TV (see here). Then set SPEAKERS option on the TV menu to AUDIO SYSTEM (page 27 of the manual). With this setup you can hear sound only through the headphones. You can hear sound from both TV speakers and headphones at the same time.
The MDR-IF245RK Headphones are in stock at our Sony Online Store here.

  • What wireless headphones are best for use with ipad2?thanks

I  am a computer newbie?!!! I had not owned a computer device of any any sort.( I know in this day and age) and I received an iPad 2 as a gift. I think my friends were tired of me asking to use their computer to receive e mail ,etc. Any way, questions galore!!! I do not even have an Internet connection in my house!! I have Dish TV and a cellular phone. NO land line . Which company is best ? Verizon ( I don't get FIOS)Optimum or?  I am overwhelmed with claims of faster speeds etc. I know I have to buy a wireless ROUTER. Which is best.  ALSO which WIRELESS HEADPHONES  for when I go to the gym? Thanks for your help!!!!

Wireless headsets, in my opinion, never work as well as I would like. Motorola makes some designed for athletic use. I'd check reviews on Amazon. You're really going to take an iPad to the gym?!?
