Wireless headphones for 3G iPod?

Not sure if my 3rd generation, 40G iPod is considered classic, but ....
I've been looking at wireless headphones -- Logitech, Sennhauser, Motorola -- and trying to figure out which, if any, will work with my iPod. I don't think my iPod has Bluetooth, but I'm not sure if all wireless headphones need it? I'm confused.
Anyone know? Recommendations gratefully accepted. Thanks.

Logitech headphones comes with their own bluetooth transmitter, which works with any output device headphone jack ( TV, MP3 players, iPods,etc.). I like mine. Only complaint is that the battery has to be recharged after 6 hours. Would like it to be 8 to get me through a full workday. Other than that they are great. Not sure about other manufacturers. These will work for your situation.

  • Best wireless headphones for 5G?

I want to get wireless headphones for my 5G iPod. There seem to be three models from Logitech - the black ones, the white ones (more expensive for some reason), and the new "Free Pulse" with the stronger headband section.
From what I have found, you have to use a short adapter cable to make the original Logitech headphones work. Does anybody know if this is the case with the new model "Free Pulse" too? I would prefer to have one that plugs directly into my iPod so I still only have to carry around one unit rather than the iPod plus a little attachment.
If NONE of them plug right in...has anybody tried using PSP headphones with their iPod? I believe that also works as a little attachment rather than connecting directly, but I'm not sure. The PSP wireless headphones are cheaper than the iPod ones, I've noticed.
So has anybody had any good experiences with wireless headphones for your 5G iPod? Which do you recommend? I want to keep the cost as low as possible but I do still want a decent product.

  • Headphones for New iPod video

logitech came out with the bluetooth wireless iPod headphones for the older iPods, and apparently they are incompatible with the new video iPods. Anyone know of, or hear if they have out now, or are coming out with soon, wireless headphones for the new iPods?

  • Wireless Headphones For Ipod touch 4g

    Hi,
I was wondering if you need an ipod adaptor to use wireless bluetooth headphones.
I have the new ipod touch 4g and i want to buy wireless headphones.
i was wondering, do i have to buy an adaptor .....since the ipod has bluetooth itself?
Also, what are the various things you can do with the bluetooth of an ipod touch 4g?
    Thanks for the help

Ipod touch supports bluetooth stereo headphones/speakers (A2DP) and some peer-to-peer apps.

You do not need an adapter for stereo headsets ( A2DP).

  • Logitech Wireless Headphone for MP3

    Hello,
Has anyone tried to use them with a Mac?
I have them and successfully paired them with my PB (BT Built-in).
I know that newer PB's (like mine) have BT2.0 with EDR and support A2DP service, thus a successful connection should be possible...
I could only pair the headphone (using a very "original" pass code of "0000") but once paired they disconnect and I found NO WAY of re-connecting them to the PB, neither initiating connection from the headset - that has only a pushbutton and volume controls - nor from the PB (by the way is there a way to "force" a connection on the PB, maybe using some command-line trick???).
Any help would be appreciated... I'd like to avoid using the adapter in the stereo-out port of my PB.
    Andrea

There are 4 main reasons why I like the Moto headset over the Logitech headset.
    1. Comfort. I can wear the Motorola for a much long period of time. The Logitech has hard plastic edges where it makes contact with the head, where as the moto version has a soft rubberized (two-shot) piece in those places. The Moto headset also has nice soft faut leather cushions to cut off external noise and make it a more comfortable fit. The Logitech is just a foam varity designed to cover the speaker and not really cut out external noise.
    2. Dual Purpose. The Moto Headset also supports A2DP, AVCRP, Headset and Handsfree profiles, allowing me to use it with both a cell phone and an iPod (w/Naviplay adapter) at the same time. Which allows me to also use it for talking over VOIP, through my computer.
    3. Buttons. The buttons on the logitech headset aren't oriented correctly. When you put the headset on the buttons (for Volume Up/Down and forward/reverse) are rotated about 15 to 20 degrees counter clockwise. Which makes it hard to find the buttons. The motorola headset buttons are oriented to be level when worn and not held. Plus the moto buttons are much easier to find.
    4. Sound. The sound quality of the Moto headset is so much better than that of Logitech. It handles the basses much better as well as the highs, resulting in a much fuller sound.
So if you know anybody that is going to purchase a Bluetooth Stereo Headset I would advice them to buy the Motorola HT820 Headset over the logitech. The only downside is motorola doesn't make and adapter for the iPod. They do make some USB adapters (w/Windows A2DP/AVCRP Device Drivers) and Stereo System adapters though. If you want an iPod adapter, my favorite is the NaviPlay. It's the most elegant solution of the adapters I have seen. However, if you want to buy the NaviPlay I'd buy the stand alone naviplay dock from HP Shopping dot com. As the Naviplay available via Apple comes as a package solution (IPod Adapter + Wireless Headset Adapter). The HP variety only has the (IPod Adapter) and thus is cheaper.
    Hope that helps.

  • Can I use wireless headphones with my iPod 4G and if so how?, Can I use wireless headphones with my iPod 4G and if so how?

Yes, but they must use Blue Tooth. You will find many that will work.

  • In need of dual wireless headphones for vizio tv. Does sony make?

Good morning.  I am looking for a pair of headphones that are wireless that would work with our Vizio tv.   My husband has hearing aids but they don’t work as well as they could and the TV is very loud for dual watching.
What I am looking for is headphones that will work not only with the tv muted – but also with the tv sound on for others in the room to hear.  We thought there would be a product that allows the user to turn the volume up on the headphones without affecting the volume for the rest of the family in the room.
Do you have a recommendation?  If so, do you have these items in stock online or at a retail store?
Would really appreciate your help in this matter.  Some days are better than others with the hearing aids, so it would be the most treasured item purchased from your store.
Thank you in advance for your time.   Charlotte Piegaro

    Hi chargeo
    Welcome to the Sony Community!
We apologize for the late reply. Based on the information and on the description you want to that headphones. Unfortunately, it's not possible. What will happen,  if you connect any headphones either wired or wireless, it will mute the TV and switch into that Headphones because of priority. We can't turn it off because it was made for that purpose.
You can visit our online store to view latest headphones. The store website is store.sony.com

  • I need a replacement pair of headphones for my Ipod touch

My apple headphones have stopped working . I read another forum and answer and clicked on the link to try to fill out the application to get my free replacement headphones but when I got to the page I didn't know what to do after I entered my software number , I then proceeded to do what i thought was right and I clicked  clicked "Request Online Service" when I got to the page they said to enter a credit card number to be charged $29 and i was shocked because the forum's answer had said you fill out the form basically telling what happened to your headphones , etc and Apple sends you new headphones of which the broken ones were , and you send back the broken/defective pair or you will be charged on your Apple Account or so . I need the link of which I would go to , in order to get my replacement headphones , hopefully they are free because I really do not want to purachse the headphones which should still be working because my ipod was purchased in 2011 in October and if they were to stop working and I have to keep buying headphones that would be a waste of my $29 . I need the steps in which I go about when I get to the link if there is a link given if what I read was true , it was on the apple website but the policy may have changed .

Your iPod has a 1-year warranty.  Call Apple.  800-275-2273 in the U.S.A. and I think Canada.

  • Bluetooth headphones for iPad/iPod Touch

I'm looking for recommendations for BT headphones that are guaranteed to work with both the iPad and Touch. I realize that I'll probably give up some fidelity but since I primarily use my Touch (and in the future, an iPad) for podcasts and videos, I'm fine with this. My primary goal is to lose the cord.
Thanks in advance for any feedback - preferably, first hand experiences.

I have the motorola S9. Works great through the whole house. Listening to them right now as I type. Odd, I can hear the click of the keyboard through the headphones.

  • Headphones for 5G iPod

Hello, I am getting a black 30G iPod for Christmas and was wondering what earbuds to get considering the apple ones don't work for me. I was thinking about the Shure E2C or maybe the new Shure E2G. Those are the new gaming earbuds by Shure. They come in black is why I like the E2G. Do you know if they will work for music too?

There is another large tread about the exact same thing, post this question there, and read most of the thread first.

  • What is the best wireless charger for my ipod 4

I got chocolate In the place where I plug my ipod in.

and?  You tap the Mail icon on your home screen, and it opens the Mail app.  There you can read your messages in your Gmail Exchange account.
I currently have my personal Gmail account set up on my phone as an Exchange account that syncs mail, contacts, and calendar.  My office e-mail is Gmail thru Google Apps for Business.  I have that one set up as a normal Gmail account that syncs mail and calendar.  Both of these are accessed through the iOS Mail app.
I also have a 3rd mail account set up, but it accesses my personal Gmail account through the normal Gmail setup and syncs notes only.  This one does not show up in the Mail app since it's not set up to sync mail.  This way I have my notes synced over the air since I do not have anything on my home PC to sync notes otherwise.

    Hi,
What's "Rogers?"  Try resetting your iPod's network settings:  Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.  Also, are you connected to a strong Wi-fi signal?
