Wireless headset Model MDR -RF985R

How do I change batteries in this unit? The only thing the instructions say is when battery goes dead consult a Sony dealer.

The MDR-RF985RK Headphones is using a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. When the battery life reduces to half, this may be the end of battery lifetime. For how to change batteries, consult your
place of purchase or a Sony dealer.

  • Sony wireless headset model TMR-RF930.

hello community.just unpacked my Sony wireless headset model TMR-RF930. need steps to connect 2 iMac

TMR-RF930 is the model number of the transmitter which is supplied to the MDRRF930 Headphones.
The TMR-RF930 transmitter uses Mini to RCA Stereo Audio Cable for computer connection. If your iMac has the 3.5mm headphone jack you can simply connect the Mini to RCA Stereo Audio Cable to both devices then setup the transmitter.

  • Sony Wireless Headphones Model MDR-RF925RK Not charging

I have a pair of sony wireless headphones as listed above, but they will not charge for me. The red charging light comes of, but stays on too long. When it does go off, the green light does not come on.
They had stopped working so I figured the battery was gone. I bought a new battery (proper model number and all) but I cannot get the green power light on (just the red charging light). I am 99% that everything is hooked up properly to the television. any suggestions?

You should contact your local Xperia Care regarding this issue.

  • Sound cuts off after 1 minute. Wireless HPs Model: TMR-RF985R

I replied to a topic regarding the same issue, but will make a thread about it as the problem is urgent (I need noise cancelling sound for a symptom I suffer from) and of course I use these headphones almost 24/7 as my work/lifestyle relies heavily on them.
THey were working fine for roughly ~ 2 years until recently when I started noticing that they shut off after some use. I used to think it was the batteries, but I charge them for 15 hours every night just as I always have, so that can't be it. Everything is plugged in. I've lurked over threads discussing the same problems all over the net and applied all their inputs to no avail.
Any help is MUCH appreciated - any help that would actually work! My gut says these headphones are on their way to the grave.
    Thanks in advance

Argh now I'm ransacking the entire internet to figure out how I'm supposed to get to the batteries on these headphones. Any help would be appreciated... (I know it's quite a newbish question, but what the he11, given the stealth on this thing!)
UPDATE: I guess there is no option to replace the batteries without sending it over to the manufacturer??? That's kinda imprudent IMO but maybe I'm missing something (?). So I have to pay an additional fee including shipping for something that I should be able to do free of charge minus expenditure on batteries.

  • How do I hook up Sony Headphones Model MDR-RF985R to a Panasonic TV Model Nbr TC-L37C22?

We purchased these Sony headphones for my 86 year old uncle.  He claims that the Audio output on his Panasonic TV is not compatible with the headphone cables.  We are miles away and cannot physically help him, but we are trying to assist by telephone.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Thank you for the instructions.  Apparently the instructions do not work with his TV because the audio ouput jack is a different type of connection on the Panasonic TC-L37C22.  We solved the problem by having him plug the headphones into the audio output on his PVR instead of the TV.

  • What is the iPod Model #????, that works with the Wireless Headset Adapter?

Dear Mac Support, I want to order the iPod with the head phone jack that is in the center at the top so that I can connect the wireless headset adapter. Recently I bought a new iPod and the head phone jack was on the top right corner and the wireless headset adapter will not work on that model. Can you tell the model number that I need that will work with a wireless headset. Better yet, is there a iPod that has a built in wireless head adapter?
      Mac OS X (10.4.3)

You just bought one of the new video iPods. One of the older ones that has the remote jack needed for your adapter cannot play video. If you still want one, the model numbers are:
    20gb model: MA079LL/A
    30gb model: M9829LL/A
    60gb model: M9830LL/A

  • Xbox 360 wireless headset

Does the new xbox 360 wireless headset by microsoft work on the xbox 360 arcade?

What's the model number or can you link to the product on BestBuy.com?  I'm not aware of a "new" Xbox 360 headset but I'm sure it would work with the Arcade as it has wireless capabilities just like the other versions of the console.

    Hello Audiohelp,
Yes you can purchase a coupler to plug directly into a set top box red and white audio jacks to a head phone female jack you require.  You can search on the internet for - Audio Adapter - 3.5mm Jack to 2x RCA Plugs and will find several websites you can order one or visit a local brick and mortar store.
    It will look like this:
I hope you continue to enjoy your FiOS TV. Let me know if I can help any further.
    Thank you

  • Wireless Headset Options for 7931G?

    Hello all!
We are in search of a solution for our Receptionist. She needs a wireless headset that will allow her to roam the office a little (minimum 75ft) and still answer calls. She needs to be able to hear the phone ringing (a beep in the headset, we're thinking), and of course be able to press to answer WITHOUT needing to physically lift the receiver.
Not bonded to any particular brand, though we have used Plantronics in the past.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi Nicole,
Sadly, the weak link here is the 7931G as it does not support
HHC - Headset Hookswitch Control or also called EHS -
Electronic Hookswitch Control which is available on other newer Cisco
    models like the 7942/62, 7945/65 89xx, 99xx which allows
    for exactly what you need.
In your current situation you will require the "mechanical" lifter
    kit as shown with the nice Plantronics CS540;
    http://headsetplus.com/product1382/product_info.html
If you have a new IP phone model you can leverage this
with the use of a special "APC" cord instead of the more clumsy
    lifter
I have attached a matrix of Cisco phones so you can see which ones support HHC
    Cheers!

  • HP Wireless Headset H8000

    Dear Sir,
I bought an HP wireless headset h8000.
    1. I can not use it because there is no sound coming (the audio does not work). Nevertheless the speakers work, because there is a sound coming everytime I switch the headset on. The lights blink too. I tried to switch the audio at my laptop from speakers to headset and the laptop says the headset works. When music plays,it even shows that there should come noise from the speakers (of the headset). Do you have any idea why there is still no sound?
    2. I wanted to charge my headset but it stopped to charge after a few minutes. Now it is hard to charge it again, because it stops every 5 minutes or so. It even starts to charge only when I connect the USB-Stick as well (if, however, I only connect the headset and do not connect the stick, the headset-light just flashes one moment, so I guess it does not charge) Why is it so hard to charge the headset?
Thank you very much for your efford!
    With regards,
    Headsetissues

    Hello urtheone,
I understand you are having trouble connecting your HP Bluetooth H7000 Headset to your computer. You also want to know what the term "Pairing" means.
When connecting Bluetooth devices for the first time, a registration is required. This process is called Pairing. Most Bluetooth devices must be paired before they can communicate with each other. When devices are paired, they share a pass key which authenticates the two devices to make sure that wireless communication and security is established.
After two devices are paired, the devices will automatically recognize each other and you can then connect and disconnect the devices easily. You don’t have to pair them again unless the pairing is deleted on one or both devices.
Now, what I need to know is what computer do you have? I need the brand and model number. It is either an HP computer or a Lenovo, it cannot be both.
You probably need to turn on the Bluetooth hardware first on the computer before you can pair the two devices. Usually on a laptop it’s the Fn key and F3 or Fn and F5. Or you can go into Windows 8 and turn on and off your wireless settings.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhuXwelEo-A
Then you may need to go into Windows settings and go to “Add a device” to add the headset. This is where you will hold down the button on the headset to pair the device and connect.
Here is a video of a guy showing how to add a Bluetooth device on Windows 8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQZsd4Yk1nE
If you do have a Lenovo computer and are having trouble connecting still, you will need to contact Lenovo for further info.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can I purchase a wireless headset for Nano

I am interested in purchasing the newest version of  the iPod Nano, but does it work with a wireless headset?   If so, any recommendations on the most compatible model?

i hear ya when it comes to working out and getting the wire in the way...its a pain.
there are bluetooth headsets for talking only...
you have to get an A2DP transmitter to connect to your iphone then get bluetooth headset that goes with that transmitter, but can be expensive.
thanks to another member of these forums, i looked at the INFINXX AP23 by Brando cost $62US...its the smallest transmitter i could find and according to the website i was on, the MOTOROLA S9-HD bluetooth headset works great with it, which costs $130US.
you wont be able to make or receive calls using this headset though.

  • Wireless Headset for my MacBook Pro

    Dear Friends,
I need a Wireless Headset to make and receive VOIP calls (skype, ichat, SJphone, etc.) in my MacBook Pro 2.33 (MacOS 10.5.2)...
At home I have a “GN Netcom GN 9330 USB wireless Headset” that is very good but it is not portable and needs an AC Power Adapter.
I try the “Microsoft LifeChat ZX-6000 Wireless Headset” of a friend of mine that is a USB Wireless Headset, but this doesn’t work with MacOS.
I already tried several bluetooth headsets but all have a very poor audio quality. The sound comes and goes out with interference and with interruptions like “cuts”.
I have heard about “Plantronics Voyager 510-USB Bluetooth Headset System” as a good option, but I am afraid of spending money with it and then becoming a bad option.
Can anybody tell me something about this device??? As the MacBook has Bluetooth can I only buy the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth instead of Plantronics Voyager 510-USB Bluetooth???
Can anyone recommend me a good Bluetooth headset to pair up with my Macbook Pro for VOIP use. OR a good wireless USB headset???
    Sincerely,
    Paulo
    (sorry for my bad english)

For charity, no soul can answer me?
    Please...
    Thanks,
    Paulo
