Wireless Hook up to 2nd PC not working

Question

Hi I am new here, I have everything working fine for my pc to access the internet, I used the Easylink advisor. My second pc  is showing a strong wireless signal but it won't let me connect to the internet. Both run on XP and I ran all the wizards, any suggestions? Ty for any help. My wireless router is a BEFW11S4- wireless B

Temporarily turn off the wireless computer's software firewall, and see if that helps.
Always use a wired computer when updating your router settings.
Until you can establish a working wireless connection, you should turn off all wireless security.
Be sure to give your router a unique SSID (do not use "linksys" ).  And make sure the "SSID Broadcast" is set to "enabled".
Make sure your wireless computer is set to "obtain an IP address automatically".
On some wireless computers, you must first set up a "profile" of the network you want to connect to.  This information would include the SSID, encryption method (if any), and password or key (if any).   After you have set up the profile, then try to connect wirelessly to your router.
