Wireless into Brigde or Lightroom?

Is it possible to shoot directly into Bridge or Lightroom?
I want to process and print while the photog roams taking pictures after pictures.
Picture shows up, an Action resizes the pics puts it on the clipboard closes it, opens a background and pasts the picture into a selection. A script included in the action will put the studio name on the picture.
Other ways would be to work with several Compact Flash Cards and open the pictures directly in PS.

It is too big for mail. -From CS3 -File> Save for web & devices and use this copy for mail.
Better from LR -Menu-Photo>Edit in Adobe CS3. Do the works. Menu File Save-save picture to original folder if dialog opens Click red dot and edited pict appears on LR next to original one-The edited picture should be export... This opens a dialog -a copy will be send to a folder Name it and give it a location ( To Mail ) (Desk)-From File Settings chose Jpg and sRGB ,size W640 H640 and 72 pixels-check copyright water mark if you have one- Minimized Embedded Metadata-From Post-Processing pick Mail Alias and EXPORT.
If you don't have a mail alias go to the folder where it was exported and drag the picture right into the Mail Icon on the dock or any open mail-now u can use the sizing from mail.

As being a novice with my Mac Pro computer and Cannon 5D mark 3 camera my issue has arisen while over the last year and half, when down loading into my Photoshop Lightroom 4, my 18,000 photograph were not catalogued correctly, or hardly at all, so now over several months time my photos have apparently been redirected in my libraries and have begun not appearing in their allotted frames next to their number in the library they are in. they also have a small question mark (?) next to the photo space. The frames are blank but indicates that there is a photo there. The majority of photos are blank but about a tenth are seen . i apparently need to retrace where they went but do not know how to get that done . can someone help please?

It would be difficult to tell you where to begin. If you moved photos around to different folders and didn't use Lightroom to move them, that would cause Lightroom to lose track of where they are. You have to remember that your images are not "in" Lightroom. Lightroom simply points to them wherever they are on your computer. All of the location information as well as the changes that you make to your images is stored in the catalog, which is a database. This catalog is central to the operation of Lightroom, and it's essential that you understand how it works and how to make it work for you. For all of those images that have "?" On them, or the folders that have the same, you will have to go through the process of locating them and showing Lightroom where they are located. With 18,000 images, and many of them missing, it might just be easier to start a new catalog and organize things properly from the beginning in that catalog.

Opening into ACR from Lightroom

I have downloaded the recent ACR 7 plguin for CS6. From Bridge I can open my faw files and the automatically open into ACR before photoshop. But can I do this from Lightroom? I know I can right click, get a drop down menu, and choose edit in photoshop, but at this point I would assume it would open up the ACR editor, but doesn't happen. what am I missing?

As far as raw conversion is concerned, you accomplish nothing by going from Lightroom to ACR because the controls are the same. Photoshop uses ACR to interpret the Lightroom adjustments. But, theoretically, that is all ACR is needed for in the transition from Lightroom to Photoshop. However, there is an option in Lightroom that allows you to open an image as a smart object. Or, once in Photoshop, you can convert an image to a smart object. Then, from Photoshop, you can open the image in ACR to make further adjustments if necessary.

Nikon D200 shooting wirelessly into AP2

Has anyone who shoots wirelessly with a Nikon D200 using the WT3A transmitter transitioned to AP2. If yes, how are you doing it? Thanks Steven

To set up a hot folder, create a new folder on your desktop or where ever you want your wireless images to land on the system as you would normally. Open Automator (under Applications) and in the Library column, select Finder. Then in the Action column, drag Find Finder Items into the box on the right. Use the settings in this to point to the folder you created and choose the options for selecting the files. Next, back in the Library select Aperture and from the Actions column, drag Import Photos into the right hand box so it is action number 2. Here you can select the destination project in Aperture that you either created earlier or instruct the action to create a new one for you. You also have the option to delete files from the desktop folder after they have been imported into Aperture.
Once you are happy with your settings, test it by putting a couple of files into the desktop folder and clicking the Run button at the top. If it all works as anticipated, then you need to save it.
To save this, click File>Save as Plug-In. First give it a name, then where it says plug-in for, choose Folder Actions. Another selection box appears and you need to navigate it to the new folder you created at the beginning (the one on your desktop, not inside Aperture). Then hit save.
Now, each time an image file lands in the first folder, it will be transferred to Aperture. You may also want to add further Finder actions to copy the images to a second folder before importing them into Aperture as this acts as a useful back up just in case some thing goes wrong. The back up folder can be on another drive or another Mac if they are networked.
Have a play around with Automator as it is not so hard to use. You can keep the Action open in the background so it easy to edit if you find you need to tweak it at all.
I use this frequently, not wireless though. I should also say that while I use Aperture 2, it works in the older versions too. I do not use Leopard yet though, but I doubt there will be a difference.
A word of warning, I have found at times the actions do not move all the files in the hot folder at first attempt, so simply take another picture and when it arrives in the hot folder, it will kick start the actions again and should move the rest over.

Streaming through Netgear router wirelessly into AE

Here is what I want to do: Use iTunes on Apple (and iTunes on my Dell) to stream music through my wireless network (consistent of a Netgear router connected to the Internet through DSL) into the AirportExtreme.
Went through Airport Setup, could then see the Airport Express in iTunes but that overwrote the Netgear configuration and I could not go on the Internet anymore.
How do I get the Airport Express to hook up wirelessly through my existing wireless network?

While connected to the ethernet network (both the computer and the AX), reset the AX and reconfigure it to connect to your network using the AirPort Admin Utility. Deselect the option that says to Share a Single IP Address Using NAT and DHCP. The AX should RECEIVE its IP address using DHCP. Make sure Enable AirTunes and Enable of Ethernet are checked.

Connecting a WRT150N (wireless) into a BEFSR41V3 (wired)

I have an existing wired BEFSR41V3 router with 4 used ports. This router in located in the basement near the modem.
I also have 2 portable computer with wireless cards, and bought a new WRT150N router (wireless). In order to get the maximum range from the new router, I want to install the WRT150N on the ground floor, where I have 2 wired point.
Can I keep the BEFSR41 as existing and use the 4th point as a bridge been the 2 router? I would endup with a cascading network:
Modem connected to BEFSR41
BEFSR41 connected to 3 points and the WRT150N
If I do this I may need to change the IP address of one router to avoid conflicting IP addresses.

I Have Had to do this aswell,
what i did is have my first router(linksys wrt54g) Ip address set to 192.168.2.1
and my second router(linksys wrt150n) IP set to 10.0.2.1
ad it is working fine for me so im guessing this will work fine for you.

You may the sort set to Custom. Click the dropdown menu on the toolbar (to the right of the word sort) and change to capture time.
If you can’t see the toolbar above the filmstrip press the T key. Press T again to hide.

After the installation of CC 2014, I can't start an editing of an image into Ps from Lightroom.

When I choose Edit into ... Photoshop CC 2014, Ps is launched but nothing happens.
I just can launch an edit as advanced object and in this case the image appears into Ps.
Any suggestions ?

Loading an image into CS3 from Lightroom

Sorry to repeat this request but:
I am running Lightroom on a laptop with Windows Vista. If I make changes to an image in the develop module of Lightroom, and then right click on the image, go to Edit in CS3, and Edit a Copy with Lightroom adjustments, CS3 boots up but no image appears within CS3.
I did have both CS2 and CS3 on my hard drive. I removed CS2 with no benefit. I removed Lightroom, and re-installed a purchased version but still the same problem. Edit - Preferences - External Editing shows Edit in Photoshop CS3 and Additional External Editor Photoshop.exe. Trying this latter option to open the image in CS3 also fails.
Any ideas??

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. The best way to setup music to play from your iMac to your stereo is to setup an AirPort Express near it. It has an Aux out to plug in a stereo mini jack to whatever connecter you need to plug into the stereo. The following article will give the setup process if you want to go that route.

How to un-nest keywords imported into Lightroom 1.1?

Greetings:
When I updated Bridge 1 to 2, I didn't realize that the update changed what simply used to be structural sets of keywords (the set title was not written into metadata) into nested parent child structure. I have since discovered that putting square brackets around the name of the newly formed parent returns it to a simple structural name that will not be written into metadata by Bridge.
When I then imported my images into the new lightroom 1.1, this new parent child configuration was preserved (a configuration I never wanted).
My question is: How can I get all the child keywords in Lightroom back into parent positions with no children present? They don't seem to drag and drop out of the parent spot and context menus don't seem to help.
Can you give me some advice?? TIA

Well thanks. I did figure out a way though it took a long time. I clicked on the unwanted child keyword, did ctrl-A to pick all, did ctrl-N for new collection, named it the new keyword, scrolled back to the old unwanted child keyword, right click delete all including the child keyword on the keyword list, added new non-child keyword in the new panel, hit enter. Can then delete the collection. Using keyboard shortcuts actually made this a pretty fast job per entry. I sure wish the Bridge 1 to 2 upgrade hadn't decided to make my system into an unwanted hierarchy!
